came to fix my fridge worked for 10mins after the repair guy came then it stopped working.

called them back to come fix it and they didnt. called my credit card company to freeze the payment as they did not complete and do there job correctly. and they sent a collections company lol.

About an hour ago I had a technician come to service and fix a clicking sound on the igniter of my range stove. This is my first experience working with this company and so far, the booking and process has seemed very positive. Within a half an hour of investigating he let me know the problem was resolved by soldering a wire. He demonstrated it and it seemed fixed. I gladly paid $280 dollars and he said if in year or so if it happens again I will need to replace the part. After they left, I tried to use the stove and the same exact problem happened so I called and spoke with customer service thinking they would send the technician back to properly fix the problem. She did not offer any solutions other than that is how the program works. Now as a customer I feel like that was a complete waste of money. What did I just spend money on? I can not help but feel I have been had here.

I asked to speak with a manager to which the CSR responded that an email will be there in two minutes. That email never happened. This place should not be in business.

DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE
First off, I am a 70-year-old senior, a perfect target for these types. Everything worked other than drum turning and with a simple belt change, I have fixed them myself in the past when I was younger and more agile. So the tech shows up to fix my dryer, with the line you don't have to pay the $90 service call fee that you already agreed to, just to get me in your door, and instead pay me 3 TIMES that amount for the labour that he claimed was required to install a $170 Dryer Repair Kit. $170 Dryer Repair Kit? What even is that? It could be anything. Or nothing at all. I thought the price for I don't know what it was outlandish. The tech sheepishly agreed with me and his responsibility deflection response was regrettably that's just what the company they get their parts from charge. BUT as luck would have it, I have one that fits the year, model and make of your dryer in the trunk of my car!! Imagine that!!. I saw nothing exchanged. It didn't fix anything if it really was something anyway so the $299.60 including tax labour cost to install was wasted too. All in with tax, the bill came to half the original price I paid for the dryer when I bought it new. Over $500 wasted. Insanely too much money for a simple repair I know, but acceptable if the dryer works if I cant afford a new one on my government Old Age pension. But it didn't work. He performed that worthless work on May 29th in a little over an hour. I paid more to him for hours labour than I pay my lawyers for an hours work. At least they do their job. The dryer never worked again after he left, so another service call was booked a few days after the original repair date on June 2nd. Why they were all insistent they were doing me a huge favour not to charge me again for the second trip is beyond me. The guy did get the drum to turn but 9 days later it is not working again. Though the tech never said a word to either my wife or myself about it, he secretly wrote a quote for a new motor for approximately $550 with HST on a piece of paper he left behind to prove he was here. Now I would be spending more than I did for the dryer when I bought it brand new. PLUS at least another $300 for labour. And no guarantee it will even work. How is it this company has not been criminally charged? I usually do a little research first before hiring anyone to do anything but I was so rushed at the time I didn't do that. Companies like this are the reason I do research so as not to be taken advantage of. Now looking, I see everything negative on 6 different reputable review sites, social media sites including a negative BBB report with an ALERT not to do business with them as well as a CTV segment featuring multiple victims and their stories.

Over the phone the quoted $80 for the technician to come look at the problem and then that the fee would be waived when the service begins. So the technician arrived and said it would be $320 to START looking at it.... Okay 320 is cheaper than a new machine I thought.. after he proceeded to tell me the water pump needed replacing and it would be $175 for that... After I paid he quickly left and I ran the machine to find that it still was not functioning. Called back to ask for the contractor to return only to be told they couldn't return until 5 days from now

Appliance Repair Team advised it would cost $80 to diagnose the problem with our dryer and they would provide ALL THE TOTAL COSTS to repair the dryer before conducting any work. The technician advised the only issue was our rotator needed to be placed back on track and the total cost of the dryer repair including labour would be $285. If we proceed with the repair, then the $80 diagnostic would be waived. The $285 seemed steep, however, we were in need of the dryer and proceeded with the repair.

Shortly after the technician advise the motor belt was broken (we were not present with the technician at this time). The motor belt cost would be $196 which seemed very expensive considering GE and other retailers only charge $50 for the part.

We were disappointed as we were suppose to be provided with the total cost of repair prior to any work being completed so we can make an informed decision. Had we known this total cost upfront as promised, we would have chosen to purchase a new dryer rather then complete the repairs totaling $527.

In discussion with the company's customer service, they would review the excessive cost of the part after the work was completed. In good faith we proceeded with the work and paid the technician. The company afterwards refused to reduce the cost.

Tech came out assessed the issue and quoted $290 to get the Fridge up and running. I agreed to the service. After the service he indicated that down the road I will require a new compressor 3-6 months as the fridge will most likely fail again.

It was very clearly indicated that the fridge would be up and running with the $290 service of the control boar and cooling system.

Next day, Fridge is as broken as it was before the Tech showed up.

Customer service was of no help. Stay away from this company! Look at all the BBB complaints, something I failed to do.

Absolutely the worse company! They tell you 80.00 for service call then soak you for 320.00 so they are guaranteed the work at that point. They had to order a motor for my dry they informed me 840.00 for the motor. At this point I thought that was steep for a little dryer motor. So I did some research called a couple appliances places turns out the part cost 210.00 locally too. They have the part marked up 4 times the cost. Needless to say this part new came damaged so they had to re order. 2 weeks later. There tech comes with no parts or can or truck. Comes in a car. Shows for the 3rd time and doesnt have the capability to get the blower off the motor. Which he informs me they normally order that to cause its easier but they didnt. Another week and promised the following Monday or Tuesday for install. I get a call on Tuesday asking me to book appt for the following week. 4 weeks to get a dryer fixed! 1200.00 in total. Please do not use this company! Its to bad all the negative reviews came up after the fact! There is lots of complaints on the BBB about this company! Absolutely not professional! I advise and warn you not to use this company!! They dont deserve the one star but have to check one.
They go under another name appliance repair team as well maybe thats why no reviews came up in the first place! Wow I cant believe the amount of bad reviews! I dont believe there is one good one! Here is a company that makes no changes to better their services to clients to turn this around and better themselves and provide a good service!
Oh I might add the tech out my dryer together didnt have any new clips or clamps to put the pane back on which would be a common thing to carry is my thinking so they used duct tape can you believe it 1200 dollars no clips but duct tape! And they leave the old parts for you to get rid of. Absolutely pathetic.

Update to review since you cant post another. They have been reported. Came out again like the 6th time and are trying to tell me needs another part but the tech showed me the blower that was replace is chewed up clearly no the right part they want another 350 dollars. Absolutely brutal company no customer satisfaction look at the reviews. PLEASE REPORT ON AND SHARE ON FACEBOOK. This company needs to be stopped.

The technician misdiagnosed my dryer's issue, replaced 2 parts that didn't need replacing, costing me $446.58. He left with the 'used' parts and my dryer still has the same problem. Upon request, I had requested a different technician to diagnose the problem, which he was not able to repair due to the motor being the issue. He provided a tip on how to trigger the motor to work which I have been doing with success. I spoke with a Manager to request a refund of the unnecessary parts as per the first technician's misdiagnosis which she refused (Ella is the Manager's name). I would have happily paid for the service call of $70.00 but instead fell victim to their error and incompetence. Unacceptable. As an FYI to home owners; my dryer was humming but not spinning due to the motor sticking. With a little hand movement of the bowl inside, the motor will spin the dryer without having to replace the motor.

This company and their customer service is a joke.
They charge $80+tax just for the visit. If you have them diagnose, it rises to $322 all in.
I paid $322 for a tech to spend 30 mins total in my home to me that I have a faulty convection element. He advised me that the part would cost $254 plus tax, he said that it was on back order and wouldn't be available for several weeks. When I asked him for an image / specs of the product, so that I could order it myself, he refused to provide it, and told me to take it up with the parts department.
I called the parts department on Monday, and they told me that the part won't be available for several weeks, and that it would cost over $500. They still refused to provide any more info than the generic "Convection element" and said that if I order it myself, they won't come back to fix it.
I have tried calling 12 different times. Spoken to multiple people, and all they do is make excuses. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

My washer stopped working and I called the Appliance Repair Team. They came out within 2 hours but I told them I wanted to know the cost of the parts before they went ahead with the work. They installed a new pump without first telling me the cost. When they gave me the bill the part cost was $310.36. I felt I had no choice at this point as they had already installed it. I paid a $700.00 bill. After they left I googled the part (as they left the empty box). The part was only $44.00 when I called LG to inquire about the cost. This company is shameless......find another repair company that values honesty!!
