I have had to deal with water issues in my basement twice in less than two years. Thank goodness I found PuroClean! Both times Dino and his team were lifesavers! Their quick response time saved my carpet and under-pad from damage both times. During the most recent visit, Vince thoroughly checked for moisture and removed drywall only where necessary. He then prepared the area for the dryers and dehumidifier. I was most impressed with the level of professionalism and genuine concern to help with this ongoing water issue. We just purchased and moved into our century home on Friday. It was discovered the following Tuesday afternoon that a 19 year old hot water tank had sprung a leak. This was some terrible timing - budgets are tight after a move - especially in Toronto.

The basement is finished with a vinyl plank floor, and water was squishing up between the cracks. After dealing with the tank and getting water shutoff, our thoughts quickly shifted from short term damage control to longer term damage control. What will this water do to the basement finishes?

Dino was in the neighbourhood working on another project and was able to stop by the next morning for an assessment. His confident communicative tone was reassuring in all of our encounters. He arrived on the scene with a digital moisture sensor and made recommendations. He determined that the amount of water hiding under the floor was minimal and suggested how we could mitigate it without any extra equipment or labour.

A lesser contractor could have easily taken advantage of the situation but Dino's honest approach meant we could rest easier knowing neither our cashflow, nor our finished basement were in jeopardy.

One week before Christmas we had a massive drainage problem which resulted in a sewage backup in our basement. The team that showed up to take care of all that needed to be done, did it with a friendly disposition, what's more is that they were speedy and very efficient. From repairing the drywall damage, sterilizing the concrete floor, carpet replacement, clearing and replacing our basement contents in order for the work to get done was a huge job, and a job very well done. Despite all the snow and "muck" they were very clean and attentive. They also paid close attention to detail when they returned our personal effects from storage. We are very pleased with the service and would recommend them to everyone who needs them. Puro Clean are excellent!

PuroClean was a reliable service that I would highly recommend to anyone who was looking to remedy water damage in their home. Our ceiling was leaking from the top neighbour’s dishwasher and PuroClean reassured us that all the water can be removed to prevent mould. They were very efficient in drying out all the moisture from the ceiling & patched and painted the ceiling that it looks brand new again.
