Celsky Vinyl Sundecks & Railings

Detailed and honest. My wife and I live in Maple Ridge. We recently (February 2016) had Ken redo the entire outside deck of the house (about 500 sq. ft), replace the railings, build new stairs down to the next level, and build an awning over a large portion of the deck. Originally, we had contacted three different firms to quote us on the project. Ken had the best attitude, the best after sales service, and he spent a lot of time going through the different options with us. This guy is the real deal.
What impressed us the most about Ken is he cares about the work that he does, and he cares about his reputation. When work began, it was during the rainy season. Ken and crew built a huge temporary cover over the house in order to do the work safely and out of the weather. During the work, he and his crew paid attention to detail, even replacing items on the house that were aged or originally installed incorrectly. I wish this guy had built our entire house. They even replaced three beams in the garage even though this was not part of his original quote.
As happens with older houses, about a month after the project was completed, the flat TPO roof on our house began to leak. My wife and I got word of this from the tenants in the house. We were away on vacation, and didn’t know what to do. It was unrelated to Ken’s project, but we didn’t know who to call. Well, I called Ken. Ken understood we were out of town and frantic about our leaky roof. He had a roofing specialist go out the next day to take a look. Ken’s specialist found the problem and fixed it. Disaster averted.
The deck, railings and awning look awesome. High quality and bulletproof. We now have a “go to” guy for our friends and relatives who need their deck and awning replaced. We are fortunate to have found Ken and his team, and that’s why we are writing this review.

Ken and his crew did an awesome job rebuilding and extending my deck. They were very professional and did the job within the time frame allotted. My deck looks fantastic and the stairs they rebuilt is more sturdy than it ever was. I have no hesitation recommending Celsky for your deck renovations!

I saw their reviews on HomeStars and gave them a call. Ken was friendly and honest about the work that needed to be done. I didn't bother with getting any other quotes. He had one worker do the job and he was able to finish it in a day. He left without any garbage around and the stairs are super solid.

Cannot recommend Ken and his team at Celsky Railings. I initially had a low quote for a vinyl install that wouldn't be done right (glue install vs heat welded).

Ken offered to bring his price down to a comparable level and was patient with the preparation of the Deck (we repaired a rotting deck with separate contractors).

When he arrived, he was professional, quick and detailed oriented. He even allowed for me to document the entire process, and explained each step and the benefits of the process.

After the install was complete, there were very minor scratches on 4 panes of the glass: Ken without hesitation returned and replaced all 4 without complaint.

The custom Railings were worth the cost: Celsky measured up the deck to perfection (we have an angled deck with a point, making the install fairly complicated) and installed perfectly. The Railings are straight and do not bow, all the glass is lined up and got a lot of looks once the install was complete.

If you're looking for a contractor that does great quality work, are friendly, know their stuff about vinyl/railing installs and deliver at a great price, look no further than Celsky!

Water was leaking from the balcony deck into the house. Several attempted repairs by other companies failed. Ken diagnosed it correctly immediately - multiple failures of the membrane surface and multiple leaks. We hired him to install a brand new vinyl deck. His price was competitive but what set them apart from the pack was their service. He was able to start ahead of the time we had agreed on and was able to finish the job well ahead of schedule. He also returned after the installation to make sure everything was OK. We found him to be very knowledgeable, responsible, responsive and reliable. They worked non-stop, were there every day and finished in half the time. We would highly recommend him and his crew to anyone.

I heard of celsky vinyl through a family member who had their deck fixed over the summer and were very pleased with the outcome. After reading all the positive comments on Celsky, we decided to ask for a quote to replace our ugly sundeck. Jim, the estimator came to take pictures and measurements. The quotes came back quickly as promised. It was reasonable, but I was still skeptical because the first company we hired a few years ago never did the job right and caused subsequent patch work that had to be done. The deck was ugly and I had no confident in any tradesmen to do our deck right. Then Ken showed up to see our deck, he listened to my concerns carefully, took more pictures and measurement. He told us exactly what he would do to get the most out of our deck. I was still a little worry, but we decided to give Ken a try and we are so glad we did. We had visitors throughout the entire summer. Ken did the work around our schedule and made the whole process painless. He also did a very nice job cleaning up. He showed up on time everyday, told us what he would get done that day and the next, checked in with us on any concerns along with way. He did the deck as if it was his own and told us what would be nice and how the staircase would be best done to maximize clearance for under the deck and walkway. We are very impressed with his work and how beautiful our deck look now. If you are ever in doubt like us, you don't need to with Ken and his company. You can trust them to do their best to make your deck beautiful. We are so pleased with their work that we will definitely have Ken and his crew do our next project.
