Alex and Charles came by to inspect the removal of asbestos around the basement ducts. Both of them were extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They seemed very honest when providing the different options that I had and I never felt like they were trying to scare me to go with the most expensive option like other competitors do. They were very quick with providing a fair quote and scheduled the work right away.

Charles was the one that came in to do the work as it was a fairly small job. I was very pleased with the safety measures that he took; from the enclosure of the area to the products that were used. Also, the clean-up was very neat and tidy. Once completed Charles went over what was done in great detail and explained what he used for the job. Alex called me as well to ensure that my needs were met and that I was satisfied with the work. They were fantastic to work with and did an amazing job. Id recommend them 100% and will be using them again for any restoration services!

Well I will start by saying I am not the owner of the home I am a tenant but when Alexander came in he had the upmost respect for me even with me being the tenant. As we know the landlord usually always doesnt want a repair man to explain the situation or what they suggest on doing to the tenant and just to them. Alexander came in and explained everything to me I found it was a bit bigger of a job than was led on to me before. I am so much more at ease to know what is happening in my home.

We had a significant mold problem throughout our basement, to the point that the finished basement had to be completely ripped out. At the beginning of the project, we also discovered that asbestos had been falling in from an upper wall, and would need to be cleaned. Despite this, Restoranation completed the project, including the unforeseen asbestos cleanup, on time (in just one week).

I was especially happy with the communication from both Alex and Charles. They always told me what I needed to hear, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Because of the asbestos, there were additional costs that weren't covered by the original estimate. These were always communicated clearly ahead of time. Aside from the asbestos there were no surprise costs.

If the "surprise asbestos" aspect of this story is setting off alarm bells, I can tell you that it was verified by an independent lab, and our house is over 100 years old, so of course it has asbestos in the walls. Two other contractors who assessed the mold problem also missed the presence of asbestos, which Charles at Restoranation spotted immediately when he arrived to start work. I was suspicious at first, but I'm now grateful to Charles for spotting the issue and rectifying without extending the length of the job.

My family and I can now literally breathe easy knowing that our house is safe.

I needed to have my 100 years old garage removed, so I went on Homestars to check for a price. Alex called me in less than half an hour and after we discussed what I wanted done, he setup an appointment to come out the next day to give me an estimate. Charles showed up exactly when he said, checked out the situation and said that Alex will email me the estimate, which he promptly did. Up till now there had been no mention of price, so I was prepared for sticker shock, but the estimate was more than reasonable, so I said yes. I could not be happier with that decision than I am, they were always professional, did what they said they said they would do and even a few extras. What more could you ask for?

I had contacted a few companies for mold remediation due to old water damage in my parents bathroom and dining room. One was a big well known company who didn't seem to need to work, and the others were smaller, well reviewed, economical companies - but not the standard I was looking for.

Alex, from the moment we spoke, was a wealth of information and his answers to my "test" questions were bang on. The added bonus was they offered testing through an accredited lab. As it was my parents home, I wanted to know exactly what issues we were dealing with in a 50 year old house. Alex's pricing was fair and he spent the time explaining the estimate.

Charles handled the work with friendly and professional ease. Always punctual and answered all my questions (I had a lot!) with informative responses from his years of experience.

The process was as I had hoped - containment areas were set up from floor to ceiling, Charles wore proper attire in the containment area, and there was a "clean" area to avoid cross-contamination outside of the work areas.

Pre mold/asbestos and the post mold tests were worth its price for peace of mind, and a testament to Charles' diligent work.
