2 of our permanent windows in the kitchen had vapor in between the panes. The installing company no longer was in business, so we talked to Clera Windows. Their rep (Mr Ron), dropped by to discuss our options and provided a quote. 2 days later we gave Clera the go ahead, to replace them. Our main reason: Clera manufactures and services what they sell and have been around for many years. This was very comforting. Also, I watched the installer work. He sure knew his stuff. (He leveled, centered, cleaned and filled all edges with foam. (This wasn't done by the previous contractor.) Further more, the rep (Mr. Ron), actually dropped by during the installation. Nice touch. 2 of our kitchen windows had deveoloped a break in the seal, causing a visible film of moisture, between the glass panes. The original supplier and rep always had an excuse for their replacement. When a Clera Windows flyer was delivered, I thought I'd give them a call. I explained my situation, and they sent a rep to the house. We discussed a price and a time frame. The rep called 2 days later to tell use that an installer would be by to take the final mesurements, and set the install date. 1 day before the install date, both the rep and installer called to confirm. The next day, the installer arrived and completed the installation. (actually, the rep also dropped by the same day). Now that's SERVICE and Customer Communications !!!! BTW: Ron (the rep) followed up 2 months later to ensure that we were satisfied with the new windows. We just had a major renovation done in our kitchen and wanted 3 picture windows installed. We asked three companies for bids, however found the Clera representative (Ron), to be the most knowledgable. He suggested their Clera Low Profile Casement windows .Although Clera was not the lowest price, we found it reassuring that actually made the windows in their factory. The installation was performed professionally. (The installer sure showed that he had plenty of experience.) Ron followed up during the installation (nice to see this extra interest), to ensure the we were satisfied, and very satisfied we were. We have had a few dinner parties since, and all of our guests mention that they love the new windows (as well as our new kitchen). Great to deal with a company that 'does it right' and cares. Clera Windows installed 4 windows in our home in July 2010 . We found that both the sales rep and installers were professional and took a personal interest with the installation. (They even cleaned up on completion !) We were extremely pleased.... We even asked them for a quotation for a patio and front door system. They won our business again and everything looks terrific.
