From estimation to job completion it was a pleasure to work with Otto's Masonry. Estimator was prompt and addressed all my questions. Work crew was on time at start and during project and did a thoroughly professional job. Excellent communication with owner, office staff, and crew. All at reasonable price.

I spent two weekends stripping and reshingling my detached garage, including taking down the kids play fort. At the end of the second Saturday, I had the garage full of shingles and lumber that needed to go. I called 1-800-Got-Junk just before noon on Sunday morning, requested a 1-3pm timeslot, and had a call back within an hour confirming my appt. The guys arrived when they indicated they would, and while the price they originally quoted me was higher than I was planning to pay, they asked me how much I thought it was worth, and we were able to come to an agreement easily. The garage was empty within half an hour. Third time I've used them, and will use them again.

Ultimaterooms was contracted to build a third storey addition on my semidetached home. With only about 70% of the work complete, and with payments totaling more than 83% of the total contract, one of the company's subcontractors came to my home telling me he had not been paid for work performed more than a month earlier. Upon learning this information, and the fact that I had paid for material I had yet to see (bathroom fixtures, flooring) I refused to make any more payments until it was demonstrated that all subcontractors had been paid in full for work completed. At that time, they stopped all work and have not been back since. After repeated and unreturned calls and emails (and a visit by another sub-contractor who informed me they too had not been paid), the company informed me by email that they will no longer honour their contract and will not complete the work. They have abandoned my project and have left me to complete it myself. I could go on about other issues (sub-par subcontractors, poor planning, misleading salespersons and contracts), but bottom line, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They have left my family high and dry.

We had two recent interactions with Drainworks. First was when the plumbers for our general contractors (we're having an addition built) dropped a large piece of cast iron stack down the drain, and resulted in a backup. Second was when our 100 year old outside trap got blocked. Both times, Drainworks was fast, courteous, and professional (wish we could say the same about our general contractors!!). We first used them 15 years ago in our previous house, I'd I wouldn't hesitate a second to use them again! Thanks guys.
