Ive been dealing with Spring Home for about 7 years as they replaced HVAC equipment at my moms house. When my furnace started making loud noises I called them to investigate. Based on age of furnace and cost to repair I decided to replace. I also decided to take advantage of rebates and replaced my a/c with a heat pump. Based on my experience with this company on my moms place I didnt bother shopping around. Their pricing is fair and their service is great. The installations were done very professionally. I highly recommend this company to others looking to upgrade or replace their HVAC equipment.

Dropped off and picked up the bin as per request. Good value. We ordered the 14 yards to dispose of kitchen cabinets and other debris. We thought we would be over the two ton limit but we were within which was great as there were no additional charges. Would recommend them and would use them again.

Customer service is not their forte. Messed up my order and as a result had to come back a second time to install the stacked washer dryer. Was promised a free installation for the inconvenience and then the care rep reneged. The installer was also very rude and didn't clean up after himself. Next time I'll go somewhere with a proven record in customer service.

My first interaction with Spring Home was in March when the furnace at my rental home was red tagged. I found this company on Home Stars and was impressed with their high rating. A few hours after my call I received a quotation. Didn't have time to shop around as we had no heat so took a leap of faith. They came the next day to install and have had no issues since. After this positive experience i have used this company several times on my personal home as well as my mom's home. Cheryl is wonderful to work with and always manages to fit me in. I had terrible luck with broken air conditioners this year and thanks to their excellent customer service, full service was resumed on a timely basis which was fantastic given how hot this summer has been. Would highly recommend this company.

We hired this firm due to the glowing reviews on this site. Given the high ratings I'm sure they must be doing something right. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone who is having issues with a low sloping roof. We learned the hard way that you can't use the same techniques or products as you would on regular sloped roofs. We hired his firm to address a chronic leak in my moms home. They did a repair that was not effective. When I called them back they came, took a look and said it was because the leak was coming from another location. We would have to pay for another repair. I wasn't interested in taking this hit and miss approach so I called firms that had experience in working with low sloping roofs. I hired one who gave me their assessment and what they said made perfect sense to me. That was 9 months ago and we haven't had a leak yet so I am confident that the problem is resolved. When I spoke to the manager at this firm while he appeared knowledgeable what he said didn't make sense to me. At the end of the day the results speak for themselves. You need quality workmanship and proven results to stand behind the smooth talking sales staff. Sometimes the ethical thing to do is say we can't fix this problem and move on and concentrate on the jobs that you can do well. Thank you for your very detailed explanation. As previously stated the results speak for themselves. The roof is no longer leaking and the chimney hasn't been repaired so obviously that was not the source of the problem.

There is a reason we are the top rated firm in the GTA and that’s for customer service and quality workmanship with thousands of satisfied customers and over 300 positive reviews online. It is a very common practice in this industry for other contractors to intentionally discredit other firms work, in fact its all too common in an effort to gain work on their behalf many times for issues not even requiring repairs . Unfortunately, this was exactly the case for this customer who was more than happy to take another contractors word from Homestars with only 3 posted reviews to their account who couldn’t identify any leak source on their visit and their solution was to sell the customer a new roof on one side in hopes that it will solve the problem which is usually the approach taken by the re roofing companies. Never in MrRoofRepair history has a customer denied us the opportunity to help them and so easily be influenced by others to pay additional money without identifying the problem and offering a shot in the dark solution. Our offer to return yet a third time to elaborate on the details and prove to her yet again our repair was effective and water tight and dry after our first visit and second return visit verifying this fact- read details below. These facts are based on details and in speaking with the customer March 3rd 2012.

We clearly informed this customer about the chimney brick issues ( large gaps) in the brick work with pictures to prove this on our first visit as well as in the report with pictures and phone call on our return visit.*** A water test was performed on the second requested return visit and our chimney roof base repair was water tight and the pictures clearly indicate brick work was required to be done ASAP with large gaps that need to be closed off to resolve this issue especially with wind driven rain. This urgency was ignored both times by the customer.
In fact the roof repair was so professional and text book we show case it as an example of how these chimney /flashing repairs are suppose to be correctly performed which is usually not the case industry wide.

We always respond to customers requests as we did here even providing proof with pictures the repair was water tight and that the customer continued to ignore our advice that brick work needed to be performed on the mortar gaps of the chimney bricks asap and they ignored the issue now putting blame on us.
When repairs are not effective they leak again within the first few rain falls. This was not the case here as the customer called back 3 months later in which we responded immediately to her request and showed up next day on site to check things out.
We were never contacted again after our 2nd visit which is very odd especially since when issues arise we are the first to be called as it makes no sense to pay someone else money for a repair with warranties in which we honour.
The initial repair was performed in October 2011 and our first call back was Jan 17th 2012 . If repairs are not effective they leak on the next rain not 3 months later.

This customer emailed us their concerns without a phone call Saturday evening March 3rd 2011 and was contacted immediately that night by phone/email to discuss and resolve concerns in an effort to reach out and help and schedule a return visit to prove our case and help the customer in which she declined.

During the conversation much to our surprise the customer had quotes from other roofers all of which could NOT find or identify the leak source and easily just blamed our repair as quoted by our customer “likely a source for the water entry.” these other companies went on to quote her to replace that side of roof at a costly rate in an effort to HOPE to find and fix the leak they couldn’t identify. They wanted to repair skylight and vents however did not identify if they were leaking and never showed customer any pictures or did not go inside the attic to check. It was a flat out guessing game to gain work not in the customers best interest. In this case the customer believed them and replaced her roof at an unnecessary cost.

I am posting a picture set our return visit showing the huge gaps in the brick for readers to easily come to their own conclusions. These gaps were never resolved by a masonry specialist by the customer.

We had followed up numerous times by phone and email to return to the home to inspect and resolve the issue during the last year but no reply back from the customer. In fact during our phone call March 3rd she was happy to pay another large sum to a roofer to replace on side of roof without proof of where the leak source was coming from. We were able to prove on our return visit Jan 17th 2012 our repair remained water tight and effective.

Vlad and his crew did a great job in waterproofing the basement on my mom's home. We had water coming in to the cold room for years. After the waterproofing there was a great improvement. There was still some water coming in which made me nervous that the waterproofing didn't work however after further investigation the root cause was identified and the problem was resolved by fixing the mortar joints in the wall. Now the basement is waterproofed. In hind sight it may have been easier to work with one firm to do both jobs however Vlad's estimate came in a lot lower than the other contractors I got quotes from and he did do a good job. I would recommend him to others who have waterproofing issues.

My mother had a problem starting up the gas fireplace in her home so after checking on Homestars for a highly rated company to fix the problem I found Imran. He was great. He came on the same day that I called. The fireplace starts at the flick of a button now and it looks like new. He is very thorough. I was so impressed with the results at my mom's house I immediately took him to my house where he cleaned my fireplace and converted the wall switch to a thermostat so that it can turn on and off on demand to maintain the desired temperature. I highly recommend Imran if you are in need of any repairs to your gas fireplace.

My mother had been having problems with a leaking roof for many, many years. I was fed up with dealing with other firms that just weren't able to get to the root cause and fix the issue once and for all. I think a lot of companies treat low sloping roofs the same way as they would standard sloped roofs which from our experience leads to problems. I called Avenue Rd and they sent Jason to give the estimate. He was great. He gave me his analysis on what he felt the problem was and how to resolve it in terms that I understood and that made perfect sense to me. He recommended a complete replacement using an approach they they use on flat roofs. It was a heck of a lot more than what we wanted to spend however as my mother is a senior citizen it was imperative that we address the leaking roof, as the puddles of water on the floor were a safety hazard to her. Jason was also firm in that they wouldn't attempt a less expensive repair as it wouldn't be effective. I appreciated his honesty. A lot of other firms won't be as firm and if you balk at paying for an expensive replacement that will fix the problem they will still try to get the sale by doing a cheaper repair even though it won't be effective and when you call them back they will give you a song and dance about it being a new problem. Avenue Road completed the job in March and her home has been watertight ever since and we have had some serious downpours since then. I would highly recommend Avenue Rd and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Francisco and his crew did a fantastic job refinishing the hardwood floors on my rental home. The floors were in pretty bad shape and after he was done you could hardly believe that they were the same floors. He was prompt and completed the job in the allotted time. I would highly recommend him.

We had a serious clog in the main drain that resulted in a backup of raw sewage. We contacted this firm and they attempted to resolve the issue by snaking the mainline. At first it appeared to work however less than 24 hours later the problem reoccured worse than before. The supposed master plumber who responded to the call was mostly interested in upselling their various services in an attempt to deal with this issue. I had to contact another plumber who charged me a fraction of the cost and the problem has not reoccured after 2 weeks. The second plumber used a couple of different heads on the snake, both with serrated edges which is likely why he had better results. For the price Bosco charges I expected much better service. Will never deal with this firm again.
