Good day Don, we would like to clarify a few items you've mentioned in your above review.
We see that once your slab had been replaced, you attempted to put the responsibility on the technician whom attended the service that day, in which the technician provided evidence to you that the scratch existed prior to via a photo he took beforehand, and was in fact 'self-inflicted'.
We understand that you desired to have a larger credit for the damage done to your astragal, in which we cannot apply due to the nature of the damage. As an example, if you had thrown a baseball through your kitchen window, it would not be our responsibility to replace or credit as the negligence would not be on our part. It was evident that you did not wish to pay your remaining balance until we assumed responsibility for the damage and covered the cost of repair, in which we were not obliged given the circumstances.
If you do however wish to have your astragal replaced, we most definitely can do so at the cost provided by our Customer Relations Manager, Natalie Wynter.
