    2 fireplace/chimney cleaning

    As landlord I always follow up with tenants after any kind of service call I arrange. This tenant's feedback says it all: "The service man was great and knowledgeable. I would like to add he was respectful, did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend him and company." Thanks for making my life A1 in terms of ensuring tenant satisfaction as well. Regards Steve.

    fireplace chimney cleaning

    I had an excellent experience with A1 chimney cleaning this afternoon. The company was referred to me by my neighbor so I knew nothing about A1 until I followed up on the referral. I have used two other companies in the past and I was delighted with this company and the serviceman, Rick. He was personable, friendly, clean and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Kelley and this company to anyone who wishes to have their fireplace looked after properly and with care.. My home is older, built in 1929 ,so maintenance is essential on this part of the house and I was extremely pleased with my service this afternoon and dealing with Rick. Thank you again Kelley!

    Was cheaper than the others and did a great job

    Found A1 on home stars amungst others but most places were either over booked or didn't return my call, they came out quickly and were friendly and did an amazing job. Would use Their service again for sure.

    Very knowledgeable

    Moved into a new house and wanted to make sure the fireplace was in working order. I called a few top rated companies on Homestars and they were all around the same price but these guys won me over on the phone with their service and knowledge. The first tec. to come over could not get up all 3 storeys with his sweeping equipment so he told me he'd repot to his boss and they would get back to me with next steps. Let me say that was in the fall which is crazy busy for them but it did take several calls and a month to get a second guy back here to finish the job. This is why 4 stars and not 5. The second tec. was great and he was not only able to asses the problem and finish the job but he told me what the issue was and how I should go about starting with small fires and work my way up. Highly recommend these guys!

Unfortunately, with older homes such as yours, the Building Code was not as stringent and builders did some interesting things with fireplace chimneys!     Chimney cleaning and inspection

    I had a chimney inspection and cleaning done at my house by A1 Quality Chimney. The job was done on time as scheduled and it was actually cleaner and faster than expected. Very happy with the service and the knowledgeable advice.

    Replacing the Cap on the top of my Chimney

    A very pleasant Atlas Care service technician named Crhis discovered about ten days ago that the cap on my chimney was gone. He 'red-tagged' me (ie. I had to get this repaired in 25 days or Enbridge would cut off my gas). I called A1. Kelly called back in a couple of days. Owen came by my house yesterday and put a new cap on my chimney. Owen called before coming. He was very professional on the phone and then when he arrived. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

    Repair chimney liner and chimney cap

    Highly recommended. I would definitely call them again if chimney needs servicing in future. The chimney cap had come off (probably by squirrels) and was hanging off chimney by a wire. I had called a number of contractors but none returned my call to come by and assess the situation. I then emailed A-1 Quality Chimney and they returned my email request with a phone call to me to discuss situation. They followed up by coming out to assess situation and provide a quote. I agreed to their quote to replace the chimney liner and repair the chimney cap. They subsequently called to arrange for the repairs but unfortunately no one could be home on the date and time specified. I agreed to leave the keys to the house so they could hook up the furnace and hot water tank to the new chimney liner. I was pleased to find the furnace room was clean after the repairs when I got home that night. We agreed to make arrangements for payment of the repairs. They were able to squeeze in my chimney repairs despite a heavy backlog of other chimney repairs. Overall I was very satisfied with their service.

    Chimney Cleaning &Repair

    Great and professional service. Love the service, the cleaning was done very well without leaving any mess. Owen was very accommodating with my traveling schedule, he fixed my chimney latch providing useful instructions. I will definitely use them again as they have a very professional team and really care for their customers. Thank you so much.

    Quick Clean

    I called A1 to come and clean and inspect the chimney in my new house. They booked me right away and called the day before to remind me. They showed up on time and completed the job without any problems. They happily answered any questions I had. Overall, very happy with the service.

    Chimney cleaning/inspection

    I contacted A-1 Quality Chimney a couple of weeks ago because I had not had my chimney cleaned in quite a few years. We set a date for them to come today Nov 8th. The night before I received a call from their company saying they would be there between 8 and 9 am. They arrived at 8:45 am, put down a tarp inside the house and got to work cleaning the chimney. They finished cleaning it in approximately 1/2 hr. and informed me the chimney was very clean and in good shape. They did not leave any mess behind when they were finished and even removed their shoes while working in the house. My neighbor came over while they were here and also booked an appointment with them. So that being said, I would recommend them to family and friends.
