Thank you Demetris for refinishing our family room. I selected Demetris based on homestar reviews and he delivered an outstanding service. He came to my home to review the project and provided a quote on the spot. What is surprising is that Demetris stands behind his service and only accepts payment when the customer is satisfied upon completion, which is unheard of these days. The day of the service, Demetris sanded the floor and showed us the stain options to our satisfaction, so we would know how the floors would turn out at the end. After sanding and staining, Demetris came back 3 consecutive days to apply 3 coats of polyurethane for lasting quality for years to come. Outstanding!

Demetris was everything you can ask for in a contractor - knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, hard working, accommodating, prompt and his work is excellent. He came when he said, did what he said he would do plus some extra's and left my home clean and my floors beautiful. He even agreed to come back after the floors cured and help move a couple of heavy pieces of furniture. I highly recommend Demetris for any flooring project.

In the past, I’ve had bad luck having my wood floors refinished. Thankfully, I have since found Demetris on Homestars. As so many others have already mentioned, Demetris and his crew arrive on time, do an especially beautiful job, leave the place immaculate, and finish on time. But, more than that—Demetris is a rare soul. Not only is he kind and honest, but he sincerely wants his client to be thrilled with the results, and endeavors to make it happen without causing any stress. How rare is that? Demetris is my knight in shining armor.

When we removed the carpets we found the old hardwood floors to be in very poor condition. However Demetris did some repair work and was able to restore them. He recommended not staining the floors because of the inlaid patterns - this was also cheaper for us! The floors look amazing and draw very positive comments from our guests. Demetris was pleasant, punctual, and very professional. We highly recommend him.

We found ourselves in a situation where we had a total of two days to install hardwood flooring in our living and dining area because new tenants were moving in. We were worried that this would not be enough time, but Demetris assured us that he could get the job done. Demetris and his workers started working bright and early on Day 1 and had the job finished part-way through the day on Day 2. The end result was immaculate. We could not find a single flaw on the floors. The floors do not look rushed at all, even though Demetris only had a very short time to get them done. Him and his workers are reliable, on time, and very good at what they do. I couldn't be happier. He put floating floors in several rooms in my house and new hardwood in my living room - dining room. It looks spectacular.

My newly purchased bungalow had ugly carpets covering original hardwood floors for decades and needed to bring the floors back to life. Demetris provided carpet removal, sanding and restoration at a reasonable price. Demetris was a pleasure to do business with. He is trustworthy (left him with my house key) He arrived early to start and was efficient in getting the job done to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend him and use his services again. :)

Our century home's original, wax-finished oak flooring had been hidden under carpet for 40 years and was dull, dry, stained and fragile. After Demetris and his team were done, the floors and stairs are sleek, solid, even-toned and-- best of all-- still have their beautiful old patina. Where the floor needed patching the new wood is well-matched and blended with the old, and Demetris also restored the contrasting stain on the stair risers where they had been damaged by the carpet installation. The results are absolutely spectacular! As we needed to stay in the house, Demetris was able to do the work in two phases with minimal inconvenience to us and it's impossible to see any overlaps in the finish. The cost was more than fair and customer service is A++ as Demetris is prompt, cheerful, honest, and happy to answer questions and offer options. We are 110% delighted and can (and do!) recommend Demetris to anyone.

I have hired Demetris twice. Two years ago I found him here on Homestarts and hired him to sand and stain the floors in our new house. We had a tight timeline and needed him to do the work on a specific day. He met these timelines and did a quality job. I hired Demetris again just a few weeks ago to lay down new wood floors in our newly built addition to match the existing floors that he stained 2 years ago. Once again, Demetris did a great job. He is very reliable, does quality work , always shows up on time, sticks to his timelines, works really hard and always cleans up after himself. Demetris is a perfect example of a reliable, quality trade professional. It's a plus that he's also just obviously a good & kind natured guy. Highly recommended.
