We hired Demetris for a replacement and removal of old hardwood and installation of new, engineered hardwood. We were referred to him though a friend whose floors he had done. We cannot speak highly enough of him and his team. Exceptional work, courtesy and willingness to go above and beyond to make us happy. It was a pleasure to work with them and the quality is outstanding. Transitions from room to room with different level flooring are exceptional! Thank you Demettris, Christos and Patrick

Very happy with everything ! The job was a one bedroom apartment with floors that looked pretty rough. It's always nerve-wracking when big jobs need doing in the house but when Demetris came to do the estimate his manner made me feel at ease. (and the estimate was the same as the final cost. No surprises) The fellows that did the work really knew what they were doing. Everyone at Demetris Floor Sanding was so easy to deal with and the floors now look wonderful. I would certainly use this company again. I recommend this company.

Demetris was great. He was super easy to deal with from start to finish, and frankly did a better job than I could have asked for. The floors look amazing, and I think because of how beaten up they had gotten we werent expecting much. Price was more than fair. I highly recommend using him.

Major reno meant replacement of all floors. We supplied hardwood flooring. Demetris and his team, laid subfloor and installed engineered hardwood flooring throughout. Excellent job, done on time, efficiently, cleaned up really well. And a year later, no squeaking, very happy with the flooring installation. Would strongly recommend and happily use again ourselves.

Super honest, hard working gentleman, with high quality of work and attention to detail. Was referred to a Demetris and have used him for refinishing the floors on all three stories of our house, as well as the basement stairs. Totally transformed the house, but more importantly he was punctual, accurate with his time estimates, showed up before the job to provide a proper quote and stuck to the budget. First used him to re-floor our condo before selling it and the work was tremendous. This guy deserves good referrals and more business from it. Jeff

I liked the 7 finger mahogany parquet floors in the (old)condo we had bought; but wth over thirty years of use the old floor had seen a lot of lifting, water damage and just plain abuse and use. I found Demetris on HomeStars and he and his team truly worked wonders. Demetris mended, fixed, replaced parquet tiles where necessary; then sanded, stained, finished ...and we now have a truly beautiful wooden floor throughout. Other folks in the condo cannot believe it is the original floor. In addition to the floor, Demetris had one of his team install new 2 1/2 " baseboards on our older and oddly angled walls and he did the most thorough,timely and exact work. Demetris' rates are fair, he and and his team are punctual, always clean up ...and the workmanship cannot be matched. Would give him 11 out of 10 if I could.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Demetris. I actually had contacted him in 2011 through HomeStars and was impressed with him then, but my project got delayed. Fast forward to December 2015 and I asked a contractor friend if he knew any good flooring people. He mentioned Demetris, which gave me even more assurance. He came and did the work when he said he would and did a fabulous job. He turned beat up floors into something that looked like a brand new install, and even put in a few threshold pieces that were missing. He came back about a week later to follow up on a couple of minor deficiencies and was a pleasure to work with the whole process. His rates were very fair and my new contractors were so impressed with his work that they intend to work with him in the future. My highest recommendation.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Demetris and his team. They are reliable, on time and on budget. The work was completed within the timeline given to me. The finished product is worthwhile and makes the upstairs look more inviting. I highly recommend Demetris and his team for any work on hardwood floors.

We have only good things to say about Demetris and his team! They gave great advice, worked fast and efficiently, did an excellent job, charged what they said they would charge, left the worksite clean, and best of all they were a pleasure to have in our home.

Demetris did a great job replacing our whole first floor, and refinishing our steps. He and his team clearly care about their trade. He showed up when scheduled and worked around our furniture and the timetables of the rest of the renovation that was occurring in parallel. The rare honest and fair tradesman! He will be returning in the summer to do our second and third floors. Can't recommend him enough!
