Demetris is definitely a unique contractor. I have not met any contractor like him before. He is very down to earth, friendly, relaxed and honest. He is very easy to talk to and always answered my million and one questions. The job he did looks amazing and our floors are like new now. Even though it is best to refinish all of a wood floor at the same time (as opposed to per room or in sections), we had a room that had to be done after the rest of the house. Amazingly, even though it is one continuous floor from hallway to room, you cannot even see the line where the first refinish meets the second. Demetris and his guys are quite skilled. At the same time we were having the floors done, we were also having new trim put in and the house painted. They took great care with everything and there were no messes on any trim or anywhere else. I also wanted to refinish my staircase and do it myself to save money. Although Demetris gave me a quote, he still gladly helped me out with advice and answering any questions I had during the project. When he came to work on the floors, he even inspected it and gave me pointers. The project came out very nicely but it would not have been so without his advice. I have to say though, it was a difficult job and given the chance again, I would hire Demetris to do it. The price was more than reasonable for the work. Demetris and his guys have the skill and most importantly are contractors you can trust to do a great job. We are definitely keeping him as our floor guy for future projects and future homes.

Dimitri recently refinished our old birch hardwood floors and re-stained them. He was able to show us a few different staining options which was very helpful in making our final decision as she showed us the stain on our actual floors. The final stain is beautiful and consistent throughout. The sanding was also done very well and we haven’t found any areas of concern. We had also torn down part of a wall as part of recent renovations and required some patch work to an area of the hardwood floors. Dimitri was able to patch the gap areas beautifully using pieces of the hardwood that we had salvaged from elsewhere in the house. Because of the way the hardwood had been laid out in the past, not all the new pieces were able to line-up correctly, so Dimitri was able to find a solution that involved shaving pieces of the wood and notching a few so that the new planks lined-up. It turned out great and saved us from having to replace larger areas with different wood. We are very happy with the results!

Last summer, Demetris sanded, restained and refinished our second floor and stairs. He also sanded and re-finished our main floor. We are very happy with the quality of the work and we still get many compliments on the hardwood 7 months later. We would highly recommend him and have done so to others.

We were notified on short notice that a shipment of furniture was arriving from the United States and we needed to refinish the floor prior to the furniture arriving. Due to the circumstances, Demetri came to our house immediately and refinished the hardwood floor on the following day. He did us a huge favor and did a wonderful job. His crew was neat and clean. We highly recommend Demetri and his company and we will definitely use him again in the future when the need arises.

The floors were in very poor condition, with some holes that had been patched with plywood, and some areas with fairly dark stains. The end product is stunning. New wood was interwoven where the plywood had been and the new and old wood are blended perfectly. You would never know that a problem had ever existed. The stains were completed removed and we are thrilled with the work. In terms of customer service - A-one. Demetris arrived always on schedule and he completed the work in the stated time frame.

Our 110-year old home had incredible inlay on the first floor and some on the second floor, but with the amount of wear and tear as well as the thickness of the boards, we were unable to find anybody that was willing to restore them (instead, most wanted to lay down a new floor). Then we met Demetris. When you own an old home you get a lot of experience dealing with a variety of contractors and Demetris is truly a rare breed! Not only was he able to correct the staining on the stairs (a mess made by a previous contractor), but the restoration on the floors was incredible. He came in BELOW BUDGET (he was unable to fix the dents in the stair risers as the wood was very soft and needed to be replaced so he took off the cost amount from our bill) and ON TIME (and had it not been for the humid and rainy conditions he would have been done ahead of schedule). He was also kind enough to leave us some stain so that we could cover up areas on our door frames that had chipped off (he also explained to us what the previous workman had done incorrectly and why this was happening). We cannot say enough good things about Demetris. He and his partner are honest, hard workers and they clean-up after themselves. We would recommend him to anybody (and have already passed on his contact information to several individuals). If you have exacting standards this is the person for you!

Demitris work is outstanding. He takes pride in his work and does an excellent job of communicating with you during the project and goes the extra mile to be sure you are 100% satisfied. Demetri did an incredible job installing our wide plank floors. When we couldn't decide which stain to go with, he took six floor samples to his truck, stained them for us, and let us choose based on the stain and our particular wood flooring. We used thick reclaimed pine flooring from Logs End, which has its own requirements for installation—and it looks incredible. Demetri provided a matching nose for the stairs and his cuts were very precise. We are completely thrilled. Also, should mention he was a pleasure to work with and very fair. I wish I had more floors for him to install!

Demetris was excellent,from the first call to leaving him in my home alone to finishing my living rm,dining rm and 2 bedrm floors. He did a GREAT job on my floors. He is a professional. Thanks demetris.

Demetris did an amazing job, he takes great pride in his work and it shows. He's very easy to deal with and gave me a number of options throughout the process. Honest, prompt, and completely professional. Best of all, the floors look fantastic. He restored some existing flooring and put brand new wood in other rooms. It all looks seamless. I can't recommend him highly enough.
