    Kitchen Faucet

After installing a new kitchen counter I wanted the new faucet installed. I called Drain Rescue Plumbers to come and give me a quote. A plumber by the name of Gord came to my home. The first question he had asked me when I told him I had installed a new counter top was when I had it installed. When I had told him that it was installed today, he advised me that it should sit for 48 hours before installing the new faucet in. He explained to me that it needed to sit that long in order not to shift. He then called his office and arranged another appointment to come to my home when it was convenient for me. Thanks to Drain Rescue my new counter was not damaged and saved me a lot of money.

Sewer Line replacement and Weeping Tile/Waterproofing

Very fast, professional and experienced team from the people working on the house all the way to head office. This was a big item for a small house and the work was carried out promptly with a minimum of discomfort. At the end of the work, the clean-up was so professional that it looked better than before the construction began. I would highly recommend this company. They may not be the lowest in price, but they guarantee results, are polite, respectful and friendly, and they show up on time ready to work. Clearly, they represent the professionl's professional.

    Answer from pro:

Sewer back up; replacement of main sewer line and replacment of lead water line

We discovered a small sewer back up in the basement. We called around for various quotes and some people attended and others did not. Dwyane was at our house within an hour of our call and completely inspected the line and conducted locates to show me where all the root penentration was. He was very helpful in explaining the various options and giving his own reasoned recommendations. Within a day or two, Dwayne had a crew on site who worked diligently for 2 1/2 days and removed the old sewer line and lead water pipe and installed new lines with 25 year warranties. The work consisted of having to hand dig two 11 foot holes into the ground and tunnel underneath the landscaping. At the completion of the project, the crew cleaned up both the inside of my basement and the garden to the state that it was in before the work. Drain Rescue did the job they said that they would do, at the price they quoted and on time. I would recommend Dwayne and his crew to anyone.

    Basement drain was overflowing

I had Drain Rescue come out because my basement was overflowing. They sent out Dwayne. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He came out quickly and got right to work. He found tree roots in our drain. We ended up doing an excavation and replacing the whole drain line. Dwayne had a crew out bright and early the next day to get started on the job. Both Dwayne and the crew were unbelievable! I really felt like they would have treated their own home with such respect.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for your kinds words. We will make sure that Dwayne knows of your praise for both him and our company.

    Clogged drain

This company has sent a person to fix my clogged drain. He put his camera first and then snake and after 1 hour try he said issue can not be fixed and he marked a place on my driveway and suggested through his written report that we should excavate that place for the cost of $2500. So I said I will get back to you by tomorrow. I called another company and they came over and fixed my issue they showed me with their camera that nothing is wrong in that place that they wanted to dig and charge me $2500. One of the worst experience that I ever had with a contractor I tried to call a manager , left 2 messages with no respond, will take the matter to small claims court

    Answer from pro:

After snaking over 100 feet, the blockage was found to be on the city’s property. I had recommended to the customer to call the city first. We recommend this to prevent our equipment becoming stuck in the larger city drains. I explained to the customer that the camera would not pass the 68 foot mark which is the city property line. I further explained to the customer that the city may require an outside clean out be installed. If this was required, we could install one at 9 feet deep in the driveway at a cost of $2500.00 + hst including the fee of the service call. We at Drain Rescue take the time to explain to our customer’s exactly what we have found and the best solution to their problem. When we leave an estimate we also let the customer know that any further questions that they may have regarding it, to feel free to call us anytime to further explain to them what they don’t understand.
