    Excellent service!

    Wonderful service and great technicians! Our new Lennox furnace was installed by L&S in 2009 and stopped working in 2014. Called them and a technician came the next day to inspect and two days later they replaced the circuit board. It worked fine till two days ago when it stopped igniting. So Mack came early yesterday, cleaned it and found that the problem might be with either the circuit board or the igniter (igniter failure error code). It worked fine for more than 12 hours but it was not starting during the night. I reset it several times during the night and early morning but the furnace kept giving the same error code. Called the office and less than 2 hours later Ken showed up with a new circuit board. He replaced it immediately, tested the system and now it work as expected. Fortunately I kept a copy of the extended warranty provided by Lennox for the furnace and had to pay only the installation fee, which is normal. Hope I don't have to see L&S technicians until next year for a yearly maintenance/clean-up of the unit. Very professional staff. Thank you Ken, Mack and all the others from L&S for the prompt service!

    excellent service

    Our furnace was purchased from Laird & Son in 2009 when we bought this house. In Jan of 2015, we received an offer from Enercare for a maintenance plan at a very good rate and we accepted this office. As part of our plan we had a service call where the repair man indicated the furnace was in excellent condition. Shortly after that we experienced problems and dispite many many calls and conversations, we were told that the motor was no good and would have to be replace at a cost of $1200 not covered by our plan. I immediately called Laird & Son and they sent Ken Tilson to look at the furnace. He diagnosed the problem as an intermittant issue with the circuit board and recommended a service plan for $290 that would cover up to $1000 in repairs which we purchased. Several months later, the furnace would not start and I called for service. Ken was back here within 3 hours with a new circuit board which when replace, left the furnace in tip top shape. Thank you so much Laird & Son and especially Ken for excellent service that we can have confidence in.

    Furnace

    Laird & Son were recommended to me by a neighbour. Within a few hours of my call on late November, Sam came to the house. In less than an hour he had identified the problem with my furnace. The next day he came with a new motor, but discovered that I didn't need a new motor, but only a small part replaced, as the board was undamaged, thus saving me $200.00. I can't say too much how much I am impressed with the fast service and efficiency of Laird & Son. Yesterday my furnace once again went "on strike". I called late last night. At 9 am Sam was here again (having called at 11:20 last night), replaced a part and was gone within 30 minutes. I've never experienced such great service for a furnace or appliance in my life. Thanks to Laird & Son and to my neighbour for the recommendation.

    Furnace and air conditioner

    In many ways, it was Not a positive experience! Equipment needed three call backs, the site was left messy, equipment installed improperly. The end result was extremely Frustrating and disappointing.

    New furnace, air conditioner and water heater - great experience

    Laid and Son installed a new Lennox furnace, Lennox air conditioner and John Woods water heater for us in November. The experience was great, from sales (Ron Potter) to installation (Arty, Ryan, Corrado, Chris). The installation team was accommodating with respect to placement of venting and a/c, happily upgraded our thermostat wiring on the spot, kept the place very clean, worked well as a team, and got the job done on schedule. Ductwork looks great, and they taped all the joints with aluminum tape which was super. At the end they took the time to explain what to expect and how to operate the humidifier, etc. We have had no issues with the installation, and the equipment is working well to date.

    Boiler heating installation

    After several quotes from other boiler companies we are very pleased to have found Laird and Son. From Ron who gave us a solution that fit the needs of our home to Artie and Ryan the expert installers we can highly recommend this company. They are clean, competent and friendly, leaving us with a high quality boiler and tankless water heater. All working very satisfactory. Thanks so much.

    Service work on Furnace

    Had some work done on my furnace and decided to contact Laird and Sons...very happy I did....a professional company with great service from their receptionist to their service technicians. A pleasure to deal with and will 100% use their services again.

    Full new furnace installation

    After a very extensive full home reno involving over 20 contractors/companies of various trades, Laird and son is one of 2 or 3 at most that I would give a perfect rating to. This job was done over a year ago now and I fully endorse their customer service and workmanship. They did the job exactly as asked, no hassle or argument, we're clean on time respectful and thorough, did a quality job, and have stood by their work; one of very few companies I fully endorse and trust.

    New furnace, AC and water heater

    Ron visited our home - it was somewhat chaotic at the time but he was professional and efficient. He was very clear in his advice and delivered an estimate quicker than promised. We booked the installation and two engineers turned up on time and were careful to protect the house. They were efficient and friendly and we now have an amazing heating/cooling system - far better than before!! A week after installation, we noticed a leak - the company responded quickly and sent an engineer to get it sorted. I definitely recommend Laird & Company for an honest and reliable service.

    Central Air Replacement

    The were punctual, professional and everything worked. They were available for follow up questions and generally just nice to have in the house. There isn't much to say, I have recommended them to everyone I know.
