This is my third review of servicea provided by Leaside Plumbing & Heating, which has done more than a dozen jobs at my home and at an income property. This time, the job turned out to be a straightforward fix to a clogged drain. I wouldn't ordinarily submit a review to Homestars about a relatively simple job, except for the notable fact that the plumber, Rick, went far beyond "the call of duty" by taking considerable additional -- and unbilled-- time to give me a tutorial on many DOs and DON'Ts to prevent clogs in the future in my two buildings. These tips are solid gold, and should end up saving me way more money in the future than I spent on him fixing this clog. Thank you, Rick!!!

Toilet wasn't flushing and required new parts plus flange. Rick was extremely helpful with offering up some good ideas to help make my toilets and pipes last longer. Glad to have it working again and thanks for his great suggestions. I would recommend Leaside Plumbing big time. I like a company who helps the home owner.

With two major and separate plumbing issues – on two of the worst possible days of the year – Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day – Leaside Plumbing & Heating came through on both occasions, and in an incredibly timely fashion. We were so impressed, starting with Tom promptly returning our phone call on both occasions, having Rick over to do the initial kitchen faucet repair on Christmas Eve, to Keith coming twice on New Year’s Day to fix a major water issue in our basement. We would highly recommend Leaside Plumbing to anyone who needs prompt and efficient service.

During the past few months, Leaside replaced the bathtub/shower fixtures in two apartments in an income property that I own. Both jobs were very labour-intensive due to challenging features in the structure of the old building, but Keith, Kale and John ensured that the outcome was perfect in each case. I've counted on Leaside for many years for all of my plumbing needs not only at the income property but also at my home. The quality of the work is invariably excellent, and the price is always appropriate.

I called Leaside Plumbing and Heating emergency line. The person is very polite and said he will send someone to fix my leaking problem within an hour. The plumber arrived on time and found out it wasn't the pipe issue rather my dishwasher was broken. He helped turned off the pipe between my kitchen sink and dishwasher and said just replace your dishwasher. He then left without charging me anything!! What an honest company! I really apprciate that and highly recommend their service!

Dylan and Drew did a great job! They arrived on time, explained exactly what they would be doing. Replaced old shut off under kitchen sink,added some new pipe. They were very neat and left no mess. They were very polite and personable. Would definitely recommend them and Leaside Plumbing. Jill Z.

Jon arrived right on time yesterday morning which was very nice. He was quiet, professional, efficient and obviously knew what he was doing. Again, that was great. Everything he did seems to be fixed and working well. We're very happy and will recommend Leaside Plumbing whenever anyone asks.

My kitchen sink was slowly plugging up so I called Mr. Rxxxxx to get an estimate and they said they needed to come out to provide quote. When they sized up the house and quoted a flat rate of $580.00 with no explanation or breakdown I told them I did not wish to proceed. I had heard that Leaside Plumbing & Heating were a good contractor so called them for estimate which they provided a "ball park" over the phone and arranged for an appointment to confirm their price and do the job. Dylan from Leaside Plumbing & Heating arrived on time and was courteous and efficient in his work completing the job with clean-up within an hour. Following this experience I definitely would recommend Leaside Plumbing and Heating.

In the midst of staying home due to covid 19 virus our water heater started to leak. Leaside came promptly assessed the problem and made an appointment in a day and a half. The plumbers came on time and were already wearing masks to protect us from sharing covid 19 virus. They were polite, tidy and efficient. We would they again.
