An emergency leak led us to Leaside Plumbing. They came out in a responsible time, provided a quote and finished up within a day.

I came home late Thursday night and realized there was no hot water. Figured the pilot light must've gone out from the water tank. Went through the steps to properly ignite the tank again and it worked. Five minutes later it was out again. Tried to ignite it again but this time the pilot light would go out once I released the gas button. Tried it several times with the same result. Wouldn't you know it, I just decided to buyout the water tank from Reliance instead of paying a rental fee every month. Timing is everything. I wasn't going to call anyone and pay a ransom to have it fixed late in the evening. Instead I decided to deal with it in the morning and took a very cold shower. In the morning I found five reliable water tank technician companies to call. The first asked for a picture of the tank and its controls. I sent them my pics and never heard back from them again. The second call, I had to leave a voicemail but they did call back and politely put me on a waiting list if anyone cancelled. Otherwise, it would be a week before they could come out and see me. The third call wasn't even answered because it was disconnected the moment it was picked up. The fourth call was Leaside Plumbing and Heating. The receptionist was very polite, understood the situation and saw to it that a technician would sent out within the hour. She did explain the visit would be free but if any work had to be done it would cost $208 plus parts and labour. When Dylan arrived on time, he was polite and courteous. Assessed the situation and figured it would be the Thermocouple that needed replacing and went to work. He had a difficult time removing the old thermocouple and inserting the new thermocouple but in the end he got the job done. Reignited the pilot light and I got my hot water back. Overall I was very satisfied with Dylan and Leaside Plumbing and Heating. They were better than the three other companies I had tried to call that day. The fifth I didn't even bother because Leaside Plumbing and Heating had solved my problem. The only issue I have is that it cost me $300 to put in a $40 part. I'm sure there's more budget friendly companies out there and also more expensive companies out there. On that particular day, I drew the card that brought Leaside Plumbing and Heating to my door. When you have no hot water, that's not a bad thing.

We called on Leaside Plumbing twice in the last few months. Once to diagnose and fix a leak under our fridge, and the second time to install new faucet cartridges in a sink. Both times Jonathan came, explained what he was going to do, answered all our questions, and finished the work quickly. He was professional and friendly. We used Leaside Plumbing once last year, too, with a different plumber but similar results. Couldn't ask for more.

Jonathan arrived on time and did an exceptional job of diagnosing the problem and doing a temporary repair to fix the leak.

I have used Leaside Plumbing for several years now. Recently I had a leak in the chrome piping leading from the pedestal sink to the wall. It was a more complicated repair so it required two plumbers at one point to shift the sink from the wall and re-anchor it after the repair was done. They responded to my phone call about the leak immediately and were there later that day. Last year I had a more serious problem with my drains that required several days work including digging out part of the basement. Once again they showed up promptly, assessed the problem and returned the next day with a crew. The problem was tree roots and the age of the pipes. The house is 1923. The cost of that work was approximately $15,000. Liam, one of their plumbers assisted me in securing a grant from the city as part of the basement flooding protection program. He spent a considerable amount of his time with back and forth communication to secure these funds. The staff from this firm are courteous and professional at all times. I would have no hesitation using this firm in the future. I have in fact referred them to friends requiring a plumber.

Called Leaside Plumbing first thing Friday morning and Liam arrived by 10 and had the probem diagnosed in minutes and resolved shortly thereafter. Couldn't ask for better service and Liam was wonderful!

My sink was coming away from the counter. Leaside Plumbing provided great customer service, coming the next day to re-mount it. Rick, Ali and Jonathan were all very professional and did an excellent job. I was particularly impressed with their high quality of workmanship and how neatly and cleanly they all worked.

When I learned that my boiler wasnt installed up to code (by another provider), I called Leaside Plumbing to see if they could help and Tom understood my issue right away. He was patient and answered my questions. He sent someone out right away to quote the work and further explain what would be required. When I was ready to get the work done, Tom made sure to accommodate my schedule and my needs (I have a 10 month old who naps twice during the day). Jonathan came on time and went right to work. He was kind to my son who wanted to wave and say hello. Jonathon explained the work to me, covered his shoes to keep my house clean, tidied the workspace and showed me the finished product. He took the time to explain how it all works. I feel like he genuinely cared about doing a good job. Tom and Jonathon were both honest about cost and time so I knew what to expect. Im really happy with the work and relieved that they were able to fix the problem so quickly.

I'm a single senior living in an old house with old plumbing. I was very weary of calling a plumber I didn't know. Keith from Leaside Plumbing was amazing! When he arrived to assess the job, almost immediately I felt I was in good hands. He was kind, knowledgeable and professional. He arrived right on time to do the job. He diligently worked through the day. My broken bathtub taps were fixed. Upon Keith's suggestion had main water and hotwater shut offs replaced. Also replaced a section of plumbing that was dripping. Then at no extra cost he replaced my washing machine water hoses (they were rubber and fittings were rusting). Also fixed drain connection to kitchen sink. I can tell from the work done was by a great professional who knows what he is doing. Then to top it off, the final price for the job, was less than I had expected for the professional work done!!!! Very fair price! I definitely will use Leaside Plumbing again. I highly recommend to anyone - Leaside Plumbing ! Cheryl
