Porch enclosure and new front door with two side lights

My wife and I decided that after living in our house for 28 years it was time for a new front door and new side lights. We also wanted to replace our porch enclosure with a new more modern one. Thermo Bilt did a very good job and we were very pleased that we could get our porch custom made so that our front door right in line with the porch door. We were able to visit their show room and pick the glass insert for the door and side lights and this was very helpful as pictures in brochures do not give a true feel for what you are getting. Overall we were very pleased.

    Replaced old windows

I had quite a few windows replaced recently. i had quotes from other companies but the quality and terms of contract were dissatisfying. A friend of my sisters recommend Thermo-Bilt Windows and the price was great and i was pleased with the quality of the windows. The team of installers were very friendly and professional. I was nervous getting this done as i had my deck rebuilt two years ago and i was not very happy. They listened and understood what i needed and got the job done to my satisfaction. NO COMPLAINS and now my neighbor is in the processing of getting hers done by Thermo-Bilt GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

    replacement windows

We had been looking for windows that would meet our specific requirements only to come up empty handed each time on one or more points. We met with Steve our salesperson from Thermo Bilt to find this was the only company that was able to understand our needs and then actually encourage our vision. The product line is wonderful, friendly and clean installment personnel, and payment that met our individual needs. We are very satisfied and would recommend Thermo Bilt to anyone requiring windows.

    Windows and Doors replacement

Earlier this winter we had a couple of issues with our [competitor name removed--Ed] windows. After doing some research on maintenance-free window replacement, we decided to hire Thermo-Bilt Windows & Doors. I strongly recommend this company for their knowledge and excellence in service.

    Windows

Although the product is good as it states energy star rated, I am hoping that it is Canadian rated and not somewhere else where it is warmrer. Ordered and installed approx. 10 wiindows, we were dissapointed that the salesman did not really spend time with us to let us know what would look best in the front of the house. We ended up with double hung windows instead of a curb appeal tyoe of window like the casement windows. Second, the installers installed the windows in a timely manner but installed the windows in a way that now we have area within the trim to hang our blinds. All in all it was not a good experience. Finally, as a customer, I called back with my concern, and no one even replied. That is not how to run a business. $5000.00 for us was a large amount.

    Window Replacement and Installation

The Energy Start windows were ready for installation within 3 weeks as promised. The installers arrived at 7:45am and worked non stop all day until 7pm with about a 30 minute break. They worked efficiently and meticulously. Floors and work areas were protected with drop cloths all debris was cleaned up and removed from the premises. The workmanship was excellent. The Windows, gorgeous with very nice handle and lock features. The exterior aluminum work is perfect. Again the workmanship is of very high quality. Even the factory showed ingenuity by adjusting my order to better suit a unique bay window in the kitchen that had difficult access. I got exactly what I wanted. Les the salesman did a follow up visit within two weeks. He inspected the entire job and asked my feedback. Also to be mentioned is that this company pays the cost of the energy audit if you are looking to claim rebates from the provincial and federal governments. I am very happy with my new windows. I feel like I have a new home.

    Windows and doors

Was satisfied and where they lack is in follow-up. They were friendly, on time. They were clean. They were fast. The staff was very professional. They did not call after the job was done to find out if we were satisfied. If they had done this they would have got a five for recommendation level.

    Replacement windows

We had 10 windows replaced in our older Davisville house and the price was very competitive, but more importantly, the installers were so thorough and professional. They actually took pride in the work they did which is so rare these days. The quality of the windows is exeptional as well and really saved us in heating costs this year. I have recommended this company to everyone.

    4 Windows

Warning to future customers: Beware of rebate schemes the company is using as part of their sales pitch. Don't take their word for it. Ask them questions on how to process the rebate so that you can actually get your money back.

    Answer from pro:

At the time when the windows for this project were purchased, 2 or 3 windows, the home inspection would be more expensive than the rebate itself. The energy audit to receive the rebate costs $350, it's only worthwhile for a larger number of windows.

    WINDOWS

Earlier this year, we had five [5] windows replaced by your firm. Three were installed first and the remaining two were put in several months later. One of them included replacing a kitchen window that was very ordinary and did not let in very much light. Your advisor, Mr Steve Mercer, suggested cutting a much larger opening, and also changing it to a large Bay window that would let in about four [4] times the amount of natural light. Many friends and neighbours have commented on how the large Bay window has changed our kitchen. It is now the favourite room in our home. We are also happy to report that the installers were very competent and professional. You may feel free to use our names as 'Happy Customers'. Yours truly, Bob and Izabell Karda
