Maple Air received great reviews and based on the recommendations we called them. The sales rep Farzad was very informative and provided us with many different options. We chose the Amana series of A/C units for its dependability ,functions and great warranty. Farzad also did a follow up of the installation to ensure we were happy with it. The installers were very professional. They listened to us and did the work exactly as we requested. They performed the work as if it was their own home they were working on, with care and attention to detail. It was a pleasure dealing with this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Maple Air installed our A/C in 2014. We were happy with the service and the A/C has worked well so we hired them to install a furnace and fireplace fan in September 2015. The salesrep Farzad was a pleasure to work with, very helpful in providing the numerous options I requested and replied to my questions promptly. He also followed up after the installations to ensure we were satisfied. The installers were punctual, did a good job and left the work area clean and tidy. I had maple air install my furnace. The old furnace was about 15 years old and I had a carrier. Their sales men came over his name was Farzad and explained me everything and inspected the job. He told me to choose Carrier as I had good experience with it! The price they offered was so much more reasonable compared to other big contractors. Also they installed couples days after the agreement. I recommend maple air and their services. As seniors, when Maple Air called to do a furnace maintenance on our furnace, we said 'sure'. They came and charged us $100 for the maintenance. After the guy left, the furnace was no longer working as the house was not heating up. We called Maple Air to send the technician back and he said the 'heat exchange' was broken and we needed to replace it - cost $700-$800. Given the age of the furnace, they recommended a full replacement! How is it possible that the furnace was working before their service call, but not immediately following their visit???? We spoke with Omid and they were not willing to fix the issue. We now have to call another company and incur costs to fix a problem caused by the Maple Air technician. By the way, every time these guys have come for 'routine maintenance', there has been something wrong with the furnace!!Answer from pro:
Hello, We appreciate your feedback on your service, we always work towards making our customer service better for our customers. As per your situation your furnace is over 12 years old and we performed a maintenance on the system on October 1st 2015, when the technician left your location the furnace was working in good/stable condition. It is unfortunate for your furnace to break down after 2 days and the problem being from the major part of your furnace which is the heat exchanger. When you mention that your furnace was working before in the summer that has nothing to do with the heat exchanger but rather your furnace fan is still working perfectly if you use your air conditioner. The purpose for our maintenance is to check systems and tune them up and leave them in working condition. We understand your frustration and we are still willing to work with you to come up with a solution which best suites your need. The cause of furnace failure is not due to our maintenance but rather a coincidence that we were there as well. If you would have turned on your furnace the same issue would have been shown to the heat exchanger. with regards to your comment for furnace working prior to the service, yes that is correct because the furnace was being used in the summer time for air conditioner. But what is important is that the furnace was not being used for heating therefore this issue has just been shown as the furnace started to die down due to clogging of heat exchanger. We appreciate your feedback, and we always stay behind our customers when the issue arises from us. We're still willing to help you on this but hopefully you can understand that this is a matter of coincidence and has no interference with our maintenance. Maple Air has never been based on dishonest service, and hopefully you can understand that the technician had no effect on your heatexchanger being broken. There was a small glitch after setting everything up but the company dealt with the problem efficiently and very effectively. Could not have been more pleased with the service and how everyone worked as a team to satisfy their customer. I had a Carrier AC and Furnace installed in July. Farzad came to the house the same day that I called and thoroughly reviewed my needs. He was great at explaining what would be the best fit for my house and what improvements could be made to my ductwork. The quote was $4000 less than a large company who I will not mention. That was for the exact same make and model of AC and Furnace. The installation crew were excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Two weeks after the installation Farzad and Reza returned to inspect the work and ensure everything was working as it should. Never experienced such customer service - or integrity - in my life, anywhere. Hamid (or Omid) diagnosed my A/C problem over the phone - free of charge! He spoke with me for 15 minutes and asked questions about the issue, and carefully and patiently explained how the AC works and what might be the problem, as well as what I should try first to see if I can get it to work without needing a repair. I am not sure if it is going to work, but I will try. Their representative hoped I would call him back with the good news that it works...Meaning that he does not have to send a representative out, and I would not have to pay anything. He could easily have sent his technician and charged me the minimum fee of $95 dollars, and since I know nothing about A/C and furnaces, he could have made me pay an arm an a leg for a repair. I'm just blown away by the integrity of this representative. If his suggestion does not work, I will have to have them come in and fix it...And in this case I will gladly pay whatever they demand as I am convinced of their honesty. I'm so happy people like this exist in this world. Thank you Maple Air and Hamid (or Omid -- sorry, not sure of the spelling)!!!
