The building process with Excel was great. Ellen and the sales team in Mahogany were wonderful, making sure they got us everything we wanted and had great promotions. The construction team was great at addressing any concerns we had during possession and the weeks following. We are very happy with our home and would recommend them to anyone wanting to build a new home.

The sales staff with Excel Homes in Heartland were such a pleasure to work with. They made purchasing our first home stress free. It was a great experience with everything upfront and no hidden fees, etc. We ran into a few bumps after moving in but everything was quickly addressed with their staff member responsible for warranty. We love the community of Heartland and are grateful for their help with this process!

My family moved to Heartland in Cochrane and have been very pleased with our dealings with Excel Homes. There have been a few fixes that needed attention and Miriam has been beyond wonderful to deal with. I love the customer support and friendliness of every Excel person I have dealt with. I would recommend anyone interested in building/buying to check out Excel Homes.

We just purchased an Excel home in Sunset Ridge, and we're really happy with it. We bought through a realtor, but still had really excellent service from Excel ( which is more than I can say for sales people with some of the other home builders who were SUPER rude when we brought our realtor in). They put up with me asking to see the house a few times before possession date. They also worked with is to get a letter we needed to pull a permit for basement development before we officially owned the home. On possession day several of the staff popped by to say hello, and we got this awesome Ninja bag that we put all of our moving waste into ( and they took it away for free). We've had a few little deficiencies ( as we expected on a brand new home), and they've been attentive and quick to fix the problems. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Excel again!

Its very nice to read here that good feedback. Its sad what we experienced. People be aware what you sign and sure before to sign any contract with them go find a lawyer to review your contract. WE bought a house from them and they never gave us the real contract , beside they signed the contract with incorrect day , and even the days that we signed the contract doesn't match. On top of all these they even changed some papers from our contract without to contact us nor even consult with us. So be very careful what you doing!!! Hire your own lawyer ! Do not trust their lawyer , because he is supporting Excel homes to do illegal things and when you contact him to ask why he wasn't honest and allowed Excel Homes to do illegal things , he will tell you that he does not represent you!! I had the worse experience I ever could have. Every time they did mistakes. I never got the contract signed by the company, nor even they bothered to give me !! Even they sent the contract with missing information to my bank and in that information was other information from another client. So now you can see how insecure is our information with them. I can say a lot of bad things that happened from the day we went to shop for a house till today when we are close to possession day. I can say if you want to be stress free and not have to argue or waist your time, then do the deal with the sale manager or vice-president and sure do not forget to get in writing everything , special the price. Yes, same time make sure you get enough contact information for sale manager , vice president , etc.. because you will not be transfer to talk to them when you will call, your emails will be answered by somebody that will try to make you quiet and let them play their funny game. Some employees in this company does not have good skills to deal with clients and that is the reason of bad communication . Somebody said here that I new house its normal to have problems. That is absolutely not correct. If she had issues already with her house then its clear what quality the Excel homes provides. I lived in a house that was new too , but never had any issues , so before to buy from them things very well.

My husband and I have recently moved into our new home in Heartland. We absolutely love our new home! The process from start to finish went very smooth and Excel delivered our brand new home to us on time!! The sales team Charla and Marika were wonderful to work with. They were so patient with the many questions we had, thank you ladies! We were also very lucky to have Nathan as our site super. He is extremely knowledgeable and was always on top of things and also very quick to get back to us with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend Excel to our friends and family!

My husband and I bought our first home which is a Spec home from excel in Heartland and we could not be any happier! The customer service alone is wonderful, Charla was was great and very patient with us and our endless questions! The home itself is fantastic, great layout well thought out they even put supports in behind the fireplace for your TV Wow!!!! The only thing I would change and this is no Criticism by any means is the placement of the furnace in the basement it could be better placed, perhaps in the corner of the basement for easier development. This is the only thing we have found that we are a little less pleased with! But if that's the only thing we have to complain about then it's not much! :) Thank you Charla and Team for a wonderful experience with Excel and our next home for sure will be another Excel home!

Staff has been friendly and accommodating. I had to get a quote on basement development and Excel was helpful and allowed the contractor in the home so I didn't lose time.

My boyfriend and I recently moved into our new home in Heartland, Cochrane. We were extremely impressed from our first step into the show home. Marika was very attentive, and knowledgable. Her calm nature also helped assure us we would get the lot we were eyeing. Others have told me building a new home can be stressful, this was not the case. The Excel team made the process so simple and fun ! Being in the far south of Calgary we were always curious on the progress of our new build. The entire building time we felt included because of the biweekly progress reports we got, with pictures ! The end result was phenomenal. We were extremely impressed with the finishing touches. I will defiantly recommend Excel to those who are looking to build in a new area. I have already brought a few of my friends through the show homes to try and convince them to move out to Cochrane. We moved into Heartland in Cochrane about two weeks ago and have been very impressed with the level of service we have received throughout the process. From the initial inquiries at the presentation centre, the quick responses we received from Charla and Marika to our emails and phone calls, and the site super Nathan going over and above to accommodate us during the building process, it has been a generally flawless and easy build. Having built in the past with mixed results, this was the best process I have even been a part of. Thanks Excel! We love our new home.
