    Window & Door Renovations

I like the service, installation time, & warranty. Most of I like the guarantee that they also make and keep on hand all hardware which comes with the doors or windows. From past experience these items when they break can never find replacements.

    Answer from pro:

Dear Larry, Thanks for taking the time to write us a great review; we really appreciate it! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed every part of working with Centennial. We hope to continue to exceed your expectations in the future. Thanks for being our customer!

    Replace two exterior doors

This project involed the replacement of our two exterior doors. We have used Centennial in the past and have been very satisfied with their products and installation service. Installation was very god but noticed a small issue with the glass on one door after the installer had left. This is where Centennial really shines!! They have a life time warranty on their products and labour. Placed a call to their service desk and the problem was looked after with no issues or long drawn out process. You pay a little more but the peace of mind is well worth it!!

    Answer from pro:

Dear Bill, We are so happy to have you as a repeat customer. Thank you for sharing your Centennial experience! Hearing from our happy customers is the perfect reminder that our hard work really is worth it. Thanks again for trusting us with your replacement door project!

    Stoney Point

We got our central windows 17 years ago and still love them. Had them come to put weather stripping in one widow and change small tabs that yellowed over the years. Service man was really nice and professional. Love my windows!!!

    Good warranty

First they installed my front door, very happy with the result. Called them back for the rest of the main level, after that installation, found 1 problem after another. Called them back a couple times still having problems. Got really frustrated, but finally their installation Manager Don Rigby came over, very professional, I showed him some pictures and complained that I heard a lot of activities from outside even though my windows were closed, plus drafting really bad in the winter, then he decided to tear 1 window apart to address the issues and fixed them on point. Drafting instantly reduced by a significant amount the next day. Very disappointed with the company at first, but after going through all those problems, make me realize that they do have good warranty and they do have people like Don in the company that care about their customers. Thank you so much Don, if it wasn't because of you, I don't know how long all these gonna take.

Product is great...customer service is horrible

I ordered our new sliding patio door at the end of August thinking this would be plenty of time to have it put in before it gets too cold or before the snow comes. An installation date is given to me at for the end of October which was fine...it was a custom door so I expected it to take a while to make. My husband took the morning off of work so he could be there for the installation as I was already working. Two installers arrive on time and take measurements of our door and tell my husband that they cannot install it as centennial made it too big. They were very apolagetic and said that someone would be in contact with us to schedule another date. Another install date was made for the end of November. Again my husband had to take the morning off of work as I was working again. Centennial called my husband at 7 am the morning of the install and say AGAIN that they have made the door to the wrong measurements. I heard this and became furious. I called the sales rep who stated that we would recieve something for this huge inconvenience (we haven't received anything) The door was installed last week (December now..we ordered in August) and we are pleased with the product but not with the service. We will be replacing the last 5 windows in the house next year but will not be using Centennial again.

    Bow Window Manufacture And Inst.

The salesman Todd came to give us a quote on March 27th 2015 at 9am. He was spot on time. He spent about 2 hours explaining their product, how it was superior to the competitors and the details of their warranty. The price was more than we were expecting but the samples of the materials that he showed to us were first rate and very robust compared to the materials used by other suppliers we have had to install other windows. Jason and Dave came to install the window on Saturday 25th April 2015 and arrived at 8 20am although the were due at 9am, they were employees of the company, ie. not contractors, they were both very polite and set up and got to work immediately. Dust sheets were positioned before any work commenced and then they took out all the old window right back to the brickwork and made a new frame from scratch to take the bow window. They added insulation material where non was present in the old window frame and put in excellent quality materials all round. Great care was taken to ensure that the window was properly aligned and level and when it was all installed a finishing wood trim surround was added on the inside of the window which matched our lounge trim. There was no chipped paint visible on the wall. Finally, they picked up their dust sheets and using a shopvac thoroughly cleaned the carpet of any dust or debris. Outside was given an equally thorough clean and there were no pieces of wood, nails etc. etc. to be seen when they left (unlike all contractors we’ve had in the past). Then on Monday 27th April 2015 Todd the salesperson came to follow up and see if the work was done satisfactorily. The window looks absolutely perfect, the capping is professional and the sealing is very neat and even (no blobs and runs etc.). We would recommend anyone who wants a top quality job to use this company even if you find their price a bit more than their competitors. Quality always comes at price. Beverly and John

    11 windows and 1 door

We got our windows and door installed last August. The installers were late due to a flat tire and rushed a 2 day job in a day. The windows weren't shimmed properly, caulking around windows was full of holes so water could get in. Didnt fill any of the holes in the trim on the inside and the casings on the outside weren't out enough for our siding to go on. Winter came and our house was drafty and cold due to the shimming problems. Since then there has been a constant number of excuses why they cant get here to fix the problems and our appointment keeps getting pushed further away. It seems like they have are money already and we just dont matter anymore. So whats the point Of this great warranty if they wont come fix anything. We lost 25,000$,, we got nice windows not installed properly and a bunch of excuses why its been 9 months and they still cant get up here to fix them. Save your money and headaches, go elsewhere for your windows and doors. It's really not worth paying double for.

    windows and door

Centennial windows built and installed 5 windows and a entrance door for my home. Installation was done by Brad and Dan, and I must say it was the most professional and flawless service work I have experienced. Quality product top notch installation, you get what you pay for.

    Answer from pro:

    Window and door installation

We recently moved into an older fixer-upper (aka, ugliest house on the street) and knew that there would be a lot of work needed on the home. One of the major areas that needed attention were our windows and our front door - they were old, leaked cold air like crazy, and our hydro bills were astronomical. I'd heard about Centennial and their winter promotions, and a sales rep (Alan Baker) came to see is right away. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and came up with a financing solution that worked for us. The window tech came out to measure shortly afterward, and in a month the windows and doors were manufactured and the installers came out. I was fortunate to get Darren and Justin as installers (both working out of the London location) - they were AMAZING. They made a really huge, messy job almost painless! They were both great - really knew their trades, and took pride in their work. And they were amazing with my dog (a big boxer who spent most of his time sitting right next to them while they worked). Honestly, these guys are great. The finished product is stunning and we're so so happy!

    Answer from pro:

Dear Lindsay, It makes us so happy to hear how pleased you are with your windows, door, and the service you’ve received! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I’ll be sure to let Alan, Darren, and Justin know how appreciative you are of their skills (especially their friendliness to your dog!). If there’s anything else we can help you with, please give us a call. Lindsay McGhie Marketing Co-ordinator
