    Home Inspection

    We found Solex via Homestars and, due to their great reviews, decided to use their home inspection services . We were not disappointed. We put an offer on a resale home and arranged an appointment with Vahn who was very accommodating. He was polite and came to the house on time. He walked my husband throughout the house while he explained his findings. Vahn was very professional and patient with all our questions. In the end, he provided us with a comprehensive report of the inspection, complete with photos (even with close-ups of the chimney and flashings, etc). We had to pay extra for the thermal imaging device he used during the inspection but it was worth it as he was able to point out water leaks and missing insulation. Overall, we were very satisfied with Vahn's work, his professionalism and his ethics. We highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a home inspection service.

    Home Inspection

    I was in search of a home inspector on a very tight timeline for a home in Thornhill, and after reviewing some preliminary reviews on Homestars for some top rated inspection co's, I decided to try Solex. The high ratings are indeed justified...Vahn was prompt in both returning my calls to schedule the inspection with short notice, and in arriving for the appointment on the agreed upon date/time (he actually arrived early and was waiting for me when I showed up). Vahn was thorough, and took time to explain his interim findings after each stage of the inspection. His final report via email was sent promptly as well (next day), which included a report that checked for any recalls that may have been issued with respect to the appliances in the home. The inspection report itself was provided in electronic (pdf) format, which I found extremely helpful when quickly searching for specific information (e.g. when my insurance provider was asking about certain things about the home's systems/plumbing when i was getting an insurance quote over the phone).     Home Inspection

    Recently I have been having some problems finding a good home inspector so I went online to see some reviews. I couldnt believe how many people were speaking so highly of Vahn, so I decided to give it a chance. Thankfully I made the right choice! I couldn't be happier with the experiences I've had dealing with Vahn and the Solex Group. This week will be the 3rd time I will be using Vahn for my home inspection. He was absolutely amazing each time I have used him for inspections. Always quick with booking an appointment and always on time. He never rushed through anything, and was more than patient to go through it with me and explain everything to make things clear. He was honest and took his time to look at every detail he could and make sure the job was done right! I felt more than comfortable when he was done the inspection and had an extremely detailed report in my inbox less than 24 hours later.     Home inspection

    Highly Recommended Home Inspector Vahn did a great job inspecting a home that we had put a conditional offer on. It turned out that we did not end up buying this home after Vahn found issues with it that the owners were trying to cover from us. I am in the midst of purchasing a different house and I will definitely be using Vahn again for the inspection. He is very thorough and his report is top notch. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent home inspector

    Buyer Home Inspection

    Vahn and the Solex Group provided an above expectation home inspection experience just last week (November 2014) and will 100% recommend Solex Group to anyone who is looking for a home inspection service. The home inspection report was provided on time, and again very much above my expectation of the details and tips. It was no simple report, but packed with useful information along with necessary website links for further details should the client requires to do more personal research on the matter. The inspection experience was also superb as Vahn was professional throughout the process (starting with his early arrival to the home), and explained and answered any questions you may have instantaneously. Vahn pointed out everything he saw regardless of being major or minor, providing me with a ease of mind desired in a stressful time during a home purchase. Follow-on services was also excellent with follow up emails to ensure I received all the necessary information for my decision making. Ultimately, I ended up not going through with the home, but I will surely seek Vahn's experience once more in the near future as I hone in on my family's home sweet home! If you are seeking a professional home inspector, I truly suggest you reach out to Vahn, and speak with him first for your own due diligence - I am confident you'll find it fruitful and worthwhile in seeking Solex and Vahn as your inspector.

    We found Vahn online and decided use his services given his qualifications and the excellent customer reviews. After hiring him for two home inspections, we are very confident to say his service is the best "bang" for your money. Vahn has an eye for detail and did not hesitate to climb the roof...even on a cold November morning! He meticulously checked the attic and the quality of his service is further testified by the high end equipment he uses. His thermal camera is state-of-the-art and his verbal explanations are based on tangible advice one can rely on. The report was very detailed (70+ pages with lots of photos and illustrations). All in all, we feel lucky to have found such a dedicated home inspector, and we really feel his suggestions are both professional and as honest as those you could expect from your closest friends. We would not hesitate recommending Vahn from Solex Group for anyone looking for a home inspector they can trust. He exceeded all our expectations.

    Home Inspection

    We hired Vahn to complete an inspection on a house we planned to purchase for commercial purposes. Vahn spent a great deal of time going over the property and provided an extremely detailed report. His report allowed us to gather accurate costs for the work required on the property and to properly gauge if the building was a good value. We would highly recommend Vahn. He was lovely to work with and very affordable.

    Professional Home Inspection

    I was very happy with the home inspection done by Vahn. He had good attention to detail and provided good suggestions on what to do right away as opposed to something that could be left for later. I was also surprised that he also actually climbed onto the roof - didn't expect that :) Overall a good experience and would recommend him to friends and family.

    Detailed home inspection

    Vahn is incredibly detailed and makes sure to check every nook and cranny of your potential home. He communicated his findings and made sure I was comfortable with the issues at hand. He took his time to ensure the homes condition was communicated to me in an objective and informative manner. I will be using Vahn again for future home purchases.
