I contacted the Solex Group after reviewing different Toronto area home inspection sites on the web. As a first time home-buyer facing a closing deadline, I was both excited and nervous about the 80 year old home that I was planning to buy. While speaking with Vahn on the phone, he immediately put me at ease and I very quickly determined he was the right person to work with and that I didn’t need to look any further. We set a time to meet for the inspection and I was pleased with his professional courtesy. When I showed up on-time for the inspection, Vahn was already at the location and had begun scouting the neighborhood as part of his background research and had preliminary findings on the home based on external observation. I was impressed from the start! As the inspection progressed, Vahn took his time to highlight each area and room in the house identifying things that he liked, as well as areas of concern and the resulting financial and resource implications. The official report was completed in a very timely manner (later the same day), easily accessible online, and with greater detail than I had expected. His professionalism went well beyond my expectations and I will be referring his services any time the topic of home inspection or energy studies comes up while I am in the room.

This was a thorough inspection (47 pages in the report) which helped us to make a decision on purchasing our new home. We are recomending this company to anyone who is purchasing a resale home. Vahn is the guy.

When I started looking for Home Inspector my friends started giving me references about the Inspectors with lowest rates. I wanted the most qualified person not the most inexpensive one. I started searching on my own and came across Vahn of Solex Group over the Internet, who had all the qualifications I was looking for. Vahn was punctual and really knew quickly what to look for. His final report was incredibly comprehensive and outlined some practical and inexpensive upgrades for my home. Although the report and assessment was more of a formality for many home owners, I highly recommend somebody from Solex to really understand what you have to look forward to in your new home.
