    Home inspection service

    Vahn was very informative and thorough in his approach and descriptions. I am clueless when it comes to home wiring, construction, build details, ventilation, Heat/AC, etc. Vahn was able to explain and breakdown how the systems work, items to watch out for, key maintenance, recall info and much more. I really appreciate his support in making my FTHB experience easier, as the home inspection provided a fool proof manual that I never would have gotten else where. Thank you for your assistance and guidance!

    Home Inspection

    I was really impressed by how thorough Vahn was, not only during the inspection visit to the house but also in the follow up report. He was honest about items of concern and items that are minor but to keep an eye, recommended some schedules for maintenance and was very patient with my questions throughout the entire visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Vahn to anyone - 100% professional, efficient with the reporting and very kind & easy to work with. Thank you!

    Great service!

    Vahn was a true professional. Highly recommended. Well worth the money we paid! He was diligent and gave us very actionable advice. Definitely one of the best in the field.

    Residential Home Inspection

    Follow-up on Home Inspection

    This is a follow-up to a Home inspection which Vahn completed for myself and my spouse on the purchase of our 1st home in November 2020. I could not agree more with all of the other comments on Vahn - thorough, detail oriented, professional and accurate! Once Vahn makes suggestions in the Home Inspection, follow-through with them. We recently had an electrician over to review the Panel box wiring as Vahn had flagged AC wiring for inspection. Vahn was right, there was a potential fire hazard with a mismatch of the breaker and the wiring size. Vahn, keep at it - any person who asks for your services is doing themselves a huge favour! -Joe and Christine

    New home 30 day inspection

    Vahn was very patient and thorough in explaining the service. The level of detail of the inspection, report and time spent explaining the things the builder did not was awesome and well worth the investment. Service was performed as scheduled, on time and report was prepared in a short amount of time capturing the details of the inspection, well organised and full of helpful links and tips. The appliance call back registration was an added bonus. The experience of purchasing our first new build was a little overwhelming and Vahn's walkthrough and inspection has taken a lot of that anxiety. Thank you for everything!

    Home inspection

    We had a very good experience with Vahn's inspection of our house. His response was swift, he was timely in booking and his visit was thorough and informational. Every question we had was answered and we have a very good idea of our home systems now. Grateful for good work & highly recommending.

    Thorough inspection, Detailed report

    I used the website to book a home inspection online and got a call back within 2 hours to finalize the details. Vahn was extremely helpful and gave me all the details on how and what to expect the day of the inspection. On the day, Vahn was extremely punctual (even though I had put a wrong address on the form :) ) and started the inspection right away. He was very open and we discussed every step of the way providing me with a wealth of tips and gotchas along the way. I really really appreciated his patience, friendliness and willingness to provide detailed feedback on every little detail and question I had. Once the inspection was complete I felt I had a much better understanding of the state of the property I was buying. Less than 24 hours after, I received his full report, a whopping 50 pages of details, notes, pictures and recommendations describing everything we've seen the day before (and no, it's not that the house had a million issues, it's just that there was a lot of detail and effort put into every little aspect of the inspection and report) Incredibly satisfied with his service and recommend him with no hesitations for your home inspection.     Home Inspection

    We had Vahn do our home inspection and couldn't be more pleased. He was extremely thorough and identified some key areas that needed to be rectified prior to closing the purchase. We even had him do the thermal inspection and found a leak that otherwise would have been missed! Would definitely recommend him to anyone purchasing a home. Our home was 6000 sq ft.

    Home Inspection March 1 2021

    Solex was hired to do an inspection on this newly built townhouse in the Avenue Rd and Lawrence area. Having not witnessed a full inspection before I can say I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the technology used to confirm if there was heat loss, water damage, etc. Solex provided a very detailed report within 24 hours for us to review which went a long way towards increasing our confidence that the property did not just look good from the outside but was also soundly constructed and mechanically up to spec. I would encourage anyone buying a property to have it inspected.
