    Home Inspection on 1890s Old Toronto Home

    A long overdue review, but you can't forget an amazing experience and thorough job well done. We had the opportunity to work with Vahn in the spring of 2019. He thoroughly examined our home and was able to clearly outline numerous deficiencies and provided solutions. His extensive report has been absolutely helpful and every home owner should get one completed. It has been incredibly insightful, useful and worth every penny. Vahn is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, patient and professional. I have the utmost confidence in recommending Vahn without any reservations.

    5-star Home Inspection for New Build

    If you are looking for an excellent home inspection, I would recommend Vahn to you and anyone else, on the spot. Vahn greatly exceeded my expectations by demonstrating these qualities: 1) Quality: He was very thorough and spotted many details. While this is what you would expect of any inspector, the details were often very small and could've been easily missed. Also, the overall volume of details found was much higher than I expected. 2) Communication: Despite all the details, he took the time to explain each and every one of them to us. For example, when showing us the HRV, he explained the predecessors to HRVs in order to better help us understand the problem it was solving. 3) Timeliness: He showed up early and began inspecting the exterior proactively. This ended up being important because the inspection ultimately went beyond the original timeframe. After the inspection, he sent over the report well ahead of the stated SLA timeframe. 4) Attitude: Perhaps above all, Vahn was really friendly and was genuinely passionate about his work. As someone unfamiliar with the inner workings of a house, I thoroughly enjoyed talking to and learning from him. The outcome was two-fold: 1) A report that we converted into a 60-item list that our seller agreed to fix. That's real $ value. 2) Psychological confidence in our investment, which has its own intangible value. If you're looking for an A+ home inspector, go with Vahn.

    Excellent Service

    Vahn was extremely professional, thorough and gave us piece of mind in our new home. He was great at explaining each item during the walk through and helped us identify some immediate work to prevent more costly issues later on. Also really appreciated how quickly he provided the comprehensive report. Would highly recommend.

    Professional and Amazing home inspection service

    The Inspector took the time to explain all aspects of the home. The Inspection was really thorough and all details and findings were included in the report. Very professional and Highly recommended.

    A very happy returning customer!

    I am a returning customer, and I believe it can tell you all!But to be explicit: Vahn is very knowledgeable, always on-time, detail-oriented, smart, and professional, he uses adequate types of equipment and he is very friendly as well.     Home Inspection for a 20+ Year Old Home

    This was my first time doing a home inspection and Vahn was thoroughly detailed and informative when he addressed the issues that were found. He gave me very comprehensive explanations on the cause and effect of the issues and offered unbiased suggestions on how to remedy the problems. The entire service lasted 3.5 hours where I opted for the extended inspection because of the thermal imaging scan, which gave me a greater peace of mind in regards to any cold/hot spots in the house that needed to be remedied. It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend his services for anyone needing a home inspection! Don't look elsewhere, Vahn is definitely the guy to go to!

    Home Inspection

    Vahn arrived at the site much earlier than the appointment time, he was already prepared when we arrived. He is friendly and his inspection was very thorough and insightful, and he was very happy to share many house maintenance tips. He found two major issues which we would have never caught. He was also very attentive to our questions afterwards. Overall, we were very satisfied with his expertise, service and professionalism! We will definitely use his service in future!

    Home inspection before a major renovation

    I contacted Vahn for a owner's extended home inspection as I was preparing for a major renovation. He had an availability the next day and he confirmed the appointment promptly. Vahn was punctual and arrived earlier than the scheduled time and began the inspection immediately. The inspection was thorough and went on for a bit longer than 3 hours since Vahn arrived early and still ended at the agreed upon time. He explained everything in detail, was always opened to questions, and provided suggestions where appropriate. Overall, Vahn was knowledgeable and easy to work with and I had a very positive experience. I would recommend the Solex Group for anyone in the market for a professional home inspection.

    Home Inspection

    We have a great experience working with Vahn for our home inspection. Moving from a condo to a townhome, we wanted to ensure that the property was in good condition and that we were aware potential repairs or maintenance regardless of how minor they may be. Vahn was extremely professional and patient in explaining each aspect of the inspection and his detailed findings. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector!

    Full Inspection

    I bough a old house and Vahn is vry professional and detailed. He went through every details from outside to inside, from basement to 2nd floor. Appreciated for his wonderful work .
