    Washer Problem

On a Sunday afternoon, we realized we had a problem with our washing machine, which would no longer function and would stop mid-cycle. We called Delroy and he pre-diagnosed the problem on the phone. Better yet, he was able to come by within the hour (he happened to be in the neighborhood), and was able to fix the problem for $60 plus a part; the problem was exactly as he had pre-diagnosed it. Not only that, he was able to give us some good maintenance advice and also help with an ad hoc question about our dishwasher. Overall, a very time-efficient and cost-effective visit! Thanks Delroy!

    Dishwasher Installation

After Delroy fixed my washing machine - I knew I had a good appliance guy I could rely on. I decided to spare my husband the grief of installing our new dishwasher. I called Delroy who did a thorough and excellent job of installing the Dishwasher. He is very reliable and honest. He could charge more money but is not looking to gouge anyone. This is rare in the appliance repair business. Donna

    Dryer repair

I called another company well-reviewed on HomeStars about my dryer, which had stopped working. They gave me good-sounding, honest advice: they'd charge $81 for a diagnostic visit, and parts and labour if they could fix it--so I might be better off buying a new machine. I decided to call one more place for a second opinion before springing for a $?00. new machine, and tried Delroy. He guessed correctly from my description on the 'phone what the problem was, and told me that (if he was right) he could fix it with a $25 part plus labour. The total was less than the first place had quoted for the diagnostic visit alone. He added that the old machines are better than the new ones anyway: built sturdier, and they don't have fancy electronic parts that are expensive to replace. Thanks, Delroy!

    Washing Machine repair

Our Kenmore top loader stopped working last week and we called Sears. They said they would come 3 days later for $100 to assess the problem and then bill additionally for the fix. Then they cancelled the day before. So, we called Delroy. He showed up that same evening, with a smile, and a quick fix. He was friendly and wouldn't even leave his shoes on when I insisted that he could. $90 later our machine works and I definitely will call Delroy again.

Old Maytag Washer Repair - Water Pump Switch Stuck

2 months ago I called Delroy. My 1993 Maytag washer was agitating but without filling the tub with water. Delroy knew exactly how to fix it without selling me a part! Anyone else would have replaced the switch and charge me $150. He is good

    Appliance repair

I called Delroy this morning based on previous reviews. He came this afternoon, fixed my oven in short order and charged me a fair price for the repair. No mess, no fuss = happy customer.

    Washing machine repair

My washing machine broke down and I wasn't able to get it up and running. I called a bunch of places: some refused flat-out to come into downtown Toronto, others quoted me insane prices, and one guy actually came, spent ten minutes looking at it (in exchange for $50), and told me the motor was broken and would cost $350 (parts and labour) to fix. I called Delroy after finding him on the internet. He came to inspect within a day, determined that the motor was perfectly fine, fixed the relevant problem, which turned out to be something quite minor and totally unrelated to the motor. The total job, which took no more than twenty minutes, cost me only $90 - a fraction of what I would have been looking at otherwise. Exceptional service! Highly recommended!

    Maytag Dryer

Coming home from vacation with the family ready to do laundry only to find out the dryer was not working!!!! I called Delroy first thing in the morning and even with the POWER OUTAGE he was able to fit me in before the kids went to bed that same day. Over the phone he asked me what seemed to be wrong and then he diagnosed the problem. When he came to the house he had the part in his hand, took his shoes off and fixed the problem. He also noticed we needed a new vent as ours was a fire hazard. All in all Delroy was prompt, VERY friendly, great with my kids, respectful, cleaned up after himself and very reasonably priced. I will only be using Delroy from now on for all of my appliances and air systems.

    Washer repair

Delroy diagnosed the problem in under a minute and had the machine upended and the repair well underway in under five, all the while taking the care to explain to me what he was doing. No secrets and no funny business. Plus, he's not a bad singer!

    Dryer repair

Delroy arrived at our house the day we phoned him. Very quick and efficient! We were so pleased with the quick service. He knew right away what the possible problems were, he tried 2 or 3 different fixes, and it was solved! What I thought would take an hour or so, only took a few minutes. We were very impressed! He is obviously very knowledgeable. We would use him again in the future for sure, and recommend him to anyone! Thanks!
