I couldn't get my A/C unit to work. Everything I could think of, didn't make it work. The fact that I had company added to my stress. So I decided to place a call to Core Temp. I spoke to Richard and we went over what I tried and what I didn't. Since nothing was still happening, Richard came over and was here in just under 15 mins. He managed to find the problem and it was resolved right away. He also took the time to refill the A/C Unit refridgerent. Our home was cool in no time and it was comfortable for our guests. We are very greatful Richard was able to come, especially since it was on the Canada Day long weekend. He is clearly someone who takes pride in his work, and cares about his customers, something you rarely find these days.

Couldn't ask for anything better. Our 10 year old air conditioner stopped working with 30+ degree weather during the Canada Day 'extended' long weekend. I left a message at CoreTemp. Richard called back a little later and committed to coming by at 2:00 p.m. same day - which is exactly when he arrived. He fixed the air conditioner quickly and did some other checks to ensure there were no other issues. In this case, just a burned out capacitor. Though not a big ticket repair or sale, he was sincere in thanking me and saying that he appreciated the business. I have no doubt that I got just the repairs required and he told me that the unit could last another 5-10 years.

CoreTemp was amazing. Another company "cleaned" by vents, and jammed up my furnace. After failing to be able to get them to help out. I called CoreTemp for help. The person on the phone was amazing - and walked me through where the problem likely was. We called back and forth a few times, and I sent several pictures. The problem was diagnosed exactly right, and with their help, I was able to fix the problem myself. This didn't cost me anything - they were so generous with their time. I can see why this company has a perfect 10 rating. Next time I need something done, I am calling them first.

called at 7:00 am and had the air condition back up and running before 10:00 am AMAZING SERVICE !!!!!!! Great company, punctual, very knowable service person, had all the parts to get our system back up and running in a matter of minutes. You don't find companies any better than this these days!!!

I chose Coretemp partly because of the great reviews here, although I had several others come and give me a quote. Richard & Janice were great to deal with - especially very quick communications. (Communications with tradesmen is a pet peeve - some just don't want to answer or call back, let alone show up when promised!) The installation went very smoothly, exactly as promised, on schedule, and neat. The equipment is still new of course, but we have had a chance to use both a/c and heat and we're very happy with the product as well as the installation and service.

Richard was outstanding to work with. We were completely renovating an older duplex and had to complete the work in several stages. Richard assisted us in selecting HVAC and tank less hot water heaters. His quotes were considerable better than anyone else’s and the quality of work was excellent. Had our A/C serviced by Richard. He was very prompt at responding to my request for an appointment and was able to fit us in within a week. He arrived on time and provided a thorough servicing of the older A/C unit. We appreciated that he did not push us to buy a new model but serviced it to ensure we have several more years of use out of it. We will definitely call Richard for any future repair or servicing.

I called Coretemp on a hot day when the fan died on my old furnace recently and they were at my place within the hour. With my furnace being the original Lennox from 1978 we decided it was time for a new one. Rich gave me a couple of options for a new Lennox at decent prices so I arranged to have him do the installation. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did an awesome job. Super friendly, fast efficient service! I will continue to have Coretemp look after my HVAC going forward and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Our furnace failed during last winter and based on Home Stars rating and reviews, we called Richard in the morning who said he couldn't come immediately and referred me to another contractor who also was tied up. Richard then rearranged his schedule and arrived later the same day, determined the problem and showed me how to manually start the furnace to get by for a day or two. He discussed the options and quoted me on a new furnace and I asked him to proceed. He was back 2 days later and did an excellent installation and we have enjoyed the new furnace and the new features. Richard's price may not have been the cheapest, but he was professional, honest, very helpful in showing me how to get the old furnace started manually until a new one could be installed and even recommended another contractor to try to see if they could service us earlier. I highly recommend Richard and will use him again for any heating or air conditioning work.

Richard replaced our dead A/C unit last year (previous review). The Lennox unit he installed has worked flawlessly and the adjustment he made to the furnace greatly improved airflow in our home. Richard recently attended our house to perform our annual spring maintenance. Appointment was for 10:30 - 11:30 and he arrived at 10:29. In the dealings we had with Richard between last year and this one, he is always there when he says he will be. The maintenance check adds that peace of mind that our unit is ready for another smoking hot season! Well worth the price to have the maintenance done. We still recommend Richard and Coretemp above any other HVAC companies.
