    Air conditioning

    My air conditioning died this week. I called Richard, who had installed my furnace and repaired the air conditioning last year. He came promptly, diagnosed the death of the air conditioner and was able to replace it within a couple of days despite it being a very busy time of year. Each time I have called Richard (my furnace abruptly quit on a January day) he has been responsive, reliable and lovely to deal with. His assistant Eric is also lovely. All in all a great experience.

    A/C Repair

    Core Temp installed our A/C 2 years ago and did a great job so when we started having problems with the unit this year we did not hesitate to call them back. Richard was very professional and on time (fitting us in among his other appointments so that our A/C could be looked at right away). Richard and his team were very courteous and explained our options as he narrowed into the source of the problem. In the end the issue was a result of another service company's shoddy work (and potentially fraudulent behavior). We were very pleased and thankful to Core Temp for finding the source of the problem so quickly and for providing us with guidance on how to maintain the unit going forward. We'll definitely use Core Temp again for our future service needs.

    AC, furnace installation

    Richard and his team did exactly what they said they would do. They were punctual and efficient and obviously took great care and pride in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend Coretemp.

    Tankless Water Heater Install

    Our water tank was on it's way out, so we called Coretemp to get a new Rinnai RU98i tankless unit. Richard and his team did a great job with the install. They were on time, very courtious, friendly and kept the work area very clean. Richard's attention to detail is very apparent in his work - the way he setup the venting, the drain line, wall mounted the unit, insulated the openings - everything was done with great care, organization and cleanliness. (I can be very picky about these details, so I was very pleased). This is the second time we've dealt with Coretemp - they installed our furnace and AC last year - and would not hesitate to recommend them for any HVAC projects. Everything went super-smooth, we absolutely love the RU98i and we couldn't be happier! Thanks again, Richard!

    Furnace & AC

    Richard and his team are very knowledgable, polite and efficient. My husband and I were extremely impressed by the little extras they did during the installation. Prices were excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for repair or new install.

    New Furnace Install

    Richard sold and installed a new Lennox furnace in my beaches home. After extensive research and in-home quotes, we chose Richard, not necessarily for price but for his honesty. He is passionate about his product and service and is very upfront about costs and variables.He is a family run company and I feel like we have found an "honest mechanic" in him and Janice. His install was clean and tidy and I would happily recommend him to any family friend without hesitation. Steve

    New Furnace and Air Conditioner

    Richard and his crew arrived early and finished the installations in good time. They were friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Both the furnace and the air conditioner were well tested, and Richard provided us with complete instructions as to their use before he left - especially the fancy touch-screen thermostat. All work areas were left clean and tidy, and the old furnace and air conditioner were removed. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

    Furnace Servicing

    For the past several months our furnace had been behaving erratically (shutting off for long stretches, never meeting the set temperature, etc...). We had called other top-rated companies who told us this was normal for a furnace to be "off" the target temp by 2-4 degrees. We spoke to others who had trouble answering our questions over the phone, or weren't available after 5pm. Finally we found Richard at Coretemp who was friendly, knowledgable, clearly answered our questions and picked up the phone at 8pm. We were able to schedule an appointment quickly and he fixed the problem right away (dirty sensor) at a great price. He also took the time to educate me on some HVAC 101, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Coretemp for their expert, friendly service and great value. Thanks guys!

    Furnace Repair

    Our furnace was not lighting properly, the temp was plummeting, was currently at 61. We have 3 kids including a baby. Coretemp asked for pictures of the furnace, walked me through exactly what to do, and fixed the issue without stepping foot inside....all for $50. This was our second positive experience with them. When I need a big job done, I'll trust it to them.

    furnace repair

    My furnace broke down last night and I called Applewood initially for emergency repair (as I have a baby at home). They said their technician would call me back, but never did. I waited all night and they never bothered to even call me to let me know their tech could not make it, so that I could make other arrangements (i even mentioned to them that I have a baby at home). Highly unprofessional. So I came to Homestars this morning to find another HVAC company and decided to call Coretemp. Richard (owner) took the call and got to my house in less than 30mins, had my furnace running in 10 mins and explained to me how to diagnose and adjust it next time. Richard was prompt, efficient, honest in what he does. Truly a gem of a company to deal with. I highly recommend Coretemp, and he will be my go-to HVAC company from here on.
