I called Richard in the summer to fix my AC and he was amazing. You can read my review about him on that great experience. Why I am writing again is that yesturday my Furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days in January! It was -20 degrees and my whole house was frozen! I looked in the yellow pages and called about 10 HVAC techs who all said sorry they were backlogged by 2-3 days due to the bad weather!. Nobody could help me! Then I suddenly remembered Richard. I called Richard who answered right away. He too was booked for 3 days and apologized. BUT. He said he would help me out by asking me to do basic troubleshooting over the phone. I learned alot from him. After it still wasn't working, he said to give him 5 minutes and he would call a few colleagues of his to see if anyone could help me out. He called back right away and gave me 2 numbers and he said they will take care of me. Well, the first person I called said they will help the minute I told them Richard referred them to me. They came and fixed my issue withing 2 hours of the phone call! Then Richard called again later to see if my issue was fixed! How about that for customer service! Instead of saying Sorry I can't help you, Richard went out of his way to ensure I was able to resolve my issue! Never again will I call anybody but Richard for help. He is an amazing person and loves to serve his customers! I will be sure to do business with him again and will refer all my friends and family to him.

What did I like abut Richard: - The pride he takes in his work, what he sells and the service he provides. You can see it when you speak to him - he wants to do a great job and cares. - Everything was done, on time, cleanly, and with good advice as to what/how we should proceed - Richards both specs and completes his projects - he's the guy you deal with up front and when the work is done. I like when the sales guy is the manager/install guy and there's no middleman. - The equipment has worked great in the couple years since Richard did the install - no complaints; as efficient and as reliable as advertised.

Richard came today to fix our very loud furnace. He could have easily have charged us for a new condensation pump but he investigated and found we had a drain already in our furnace room that we could use and the pump was redundant. I appreciate Richard's honesty and the job cost us a fraction of the price he could have charged if he had wanted to be dishonest. The service was friendly and prompt an overall great job. I have called Richard a few times over the last three years for quotes and advice for Tankless water heaters, air conditioners AND my furnace. He answered the phone every time, addressed my concerns and when he was too busy, he referred me to someone equally competent. When I finally did purchase an air conditioner, he was genuinely concerned for my family's comfort during a heat wave and temporarily fixed my dying air conditioner until he could install the new one. The new air conditioner worked great through the summer and my husband and I were very happy with the customer service.

My furnace stopped working on New Years day. I was referred to Richard at Coretemp by a friend. Richard was calm and friendly on the phone, assured me that I would survive until the morning and said he would come by. He was over first thing, 1.5 hours earlier than promised. He diagnosed and fixed my furnace in 5 minutes for his diagnostic fee. Someone less honest could have easily duped me into an expensive motor replacement. Richard's honesty, expertise and friendly manner will go a long way for his company. In a couple of years I will upgrade my furnace, A/C, and water heater and Richard will get the job. He will also get any referrals should anyone ask me for one.

We had an older furnace which we attempted to have serviced annually but unfortunately the services were not performed properly and we finally had to replace it. We emailed CoreTemp and had a call within 30 minutes asking if our furnace was working and to set up time for a quote. The passion, knowledge, thoroughness of describing our options and the professional follow-up with available installation dates and willingness to install in a low space led us to choose Richard and his team. The installation was professionally done, around our schedule and needs, and executed with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The unit is perfect for our home and is working like a charm, we are thrilled with the product and installation. We have also engaged them to install our new A/C unit this spring for which the pre-work is already done. We would, without hesitation, recommend Richard and his team.

After having a few different companies provide assessments and quotes for our extensive job we went with the professional, thought out approach that Richard brought to the table. Although slightly higher in price, Richard's prompt, friendly, and thorough service was well worth the small difference in overall cost. We had CoreTemp relocate our furnace, install a tankless water heater and a new AC unit. Richard also recommend Forced Air Systems to replace all of our ducting. This recommendation was also excellent as Al from Forced Air Systems did an excellent job walking us through his approach while keeping our needs in mind for minimizing bulkheads etc. Over the course of 3 days we had everything installed and the job completed. Richard's team and Al from Forced Air Systems were friendly and professional, as well as highly capable leaving a neat, tidy worksite and an installation that looks highly professional. The new system works beautifully and quietly, and the improved heat distribution from the duct work keeps every room in our house an steady, even temperature. Thanks CoreTemp!

We cold called CoreTemp based solely on their rating via HomeStars after a disastrous experience with our previous furnace "guy" (who was an "I know a guy" recommendation from a friend). Richard was prompt in returning my call, extremely helpful in researching and collaborating on our problem, and very up front about possible limitations. In the end, he came up with a great solution that is working perfectly! Super nice people, very knowledgable and highly recommended.

They did a fantastic job of installing a new furnace. This company is A-One. They answer the phone every time you call, they are very accommodating and knowledgeable, and great guys. Janice, the office personnel was very courteous and always responded to emails promptly. I will definitely use them again and I will recommend them to others.
