We have a really old house built in the 1930's. We have already had a problem with mold in the past, which Accu-Star has scanned our basement with their technological devices and have accurately located our problems. Recently, we have had water in our basement and we were worried that water was continuely leaking into our basement. But we couldn't determine where the water was from. Accu-Star scanned our basement again and identified that our radiator heating system was leaking. They pin-pointed the problem exactly, with the recommended solutions, and reassured us that our basement did not have any major damages. What could have been costly maintenance fixes and stressful repairs, turned out to be a precise fix and welcomed relief. We are eternally grateful for the great customer service, timely response and accurate results from Accu-Star. They are a high-quality company that we will continue to use and recommend for the future.

Our inspector told us that we had asbestos on pipes in our basement. We called Accu-Star Ryan, Nev and there team were so friendly and helpful I would highly recommend this company for there experience and knowledge.

Found the company online after several desperate attempts to stop a stubborn leak in our kitchen. After fixing our roof, fixing flashing, we wanted to fix the problem once and for all. We didn't want to worry anymore with a pot and pan everytime it rained. Called Accu-Star, came on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. Nev, the person who came, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He found some trouble spots pretty quickly and advised us of this. There is mold problem in my basement cold room and sump pump room. I called Nev, he came on the same day to look at the problem. He immediately identified the cause of the problem, in fact, he was the only one who was able to look at the whole picture (I had other waterproofing companies, and inspectors came before Nev), otherwise I would be spending unnecessary money. Nev is absolutely knowledgeable and honest. I have had another BIG mold remediation company gave me a quote, which was double of Nev's quote. At the end, the mold problem has resolved.

I was renovating the basement, putting down approx 1400 sq ft of laminate flooring and discovered layers of tiles (50 year period) under the existing rug, I was told by the flooring installer that these tiles could possibly contain asbestos. I called Nev at Accu-Star regarding my problem, not only did he respond immediately, but took a number of tile samples and had them tested, with a detailed report back within a couple of days. Nev and his team were absolutely the best -- honest, reliable, friendly, professional, and hard-working. He explained to me the DIY remedy for mold and left it to me as to whether we'd want to pursue this option. We decided not to, simply because time is precious to us. I was really amazed how much work was involved. The protocols are intense! Nev's team was polite, tidy, and showed a real attention to detail. I felt like I was in good hands. They also pointed out to us that the mold on our basement ceiling was the "canary in the coal mine". The cause of the mold was, very likely, a back wall, which had been covered over with some plywood sheets, and was soaking wet! When Nev's team exposed this, and we ran a dehumidifier for a week (which we've learned to keep running constantly), the wall dried up considerably, and we bought ourselves a bit of time to save money for the inevitable basement waterproofing we'll need. I am very grateful to Accu-Star for services rendered, and would unhesitatingly recommend their services to closest friends and relatives.
