Accu-Star beat a competing bid by quite a bit. Amanda was very friendly on the phone and arranged to have Nev come out for a free estimate within a day or two. Nev was very professional. He explained the process thoroughly, and showed that he would work hard to earn my business. Our technicians were Lawrence and Brian. They did an excellent job removing asbestos from some old pipes and finished the job ahead of schedule. I was so impressed that I recommended Accu-Star to a friend who had just purchased a home with some asbestos wrapped pipes. We were both very impressed with this company.

We had contacted Amanda during a recent renovation that involved popcorn ceiling removal and plaster wall removal of an 80 year-old house. The smart thing for us would've been to have the asbestos test done prior to the renovation, but it wasn't until we walked into our home during the renovation and saw how incredibly dirty the home was, and how every surface in a room was covered in a thick layer of dust. We then thought it would be wise to check for asbestos in the materials that were being removed from our home, even though at this point we had already disturbed the materials and they were now air-born. Everyone went into panic mode, so that's when we called Amanda. She answered all of our questions and provided an abundance of information and guidance even before doing a single test. She provided a clear course of action, and the first step was for Amanda's team to collect 3 samples for testing. Luckily for us there was no asbestos detected. I had suggested doing an air quality test as well just to be sure, but Amanda had actually advised against that since there was no asbestos in the materials, so it would be a waste of money. How many companies do you know that turn down revenue from customers like this? I highly recommend Accu-Star for their services, and their integrity and character as a company.

This company was recommended by our realtor. Elizabeth arrived at our house on short notice and provided her recommendation for asbestos and mold removal. She quickly followed up with a written estimate and once I gave her the go-ahead, the work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price. She went the extra mile by testing insulation for me. The conditions and nature of their work is nasty and stressful. I've dealt with many companies over the years and you cannot find better customer service than that of Accu-Star and from its own star Elizabeth. I highly recommend this company.

Elizabeth came in within the hour and on short notice to perform an inspection on a new (old) home we just received keys for. She not only inspected the home but also and more importantly educated us. Thank very much and please continue being as you are!!! Will recommend to my network.

Found months afterward that they should have done a type 3 abatement instead of a type 2 and then was given a reason why that has no merit. Would never reccomend them.

During my recent basement renovation, we came across some asbestos on the pipes which needed to be moved. We needed this dealt with quickly so it would not hold up the work too long. Nev came by to quote it for me within 24 hours and the work was completed 2 days later. their price was very reasonable and the turnaround to complete the job was super fast! I was very pleased with the speed in which the service took place because we had to put the whole renovation on hold until this was taken care of. Very quick, Amanda was also very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

In less than 24hours, this amazing company assisted us in arranging for a disposal bin. It was dropped off in the morning and picked up the very same day (this was on a weekend). There were no hidden fees and exactly as quoted. The service was superb! It was the best money we have ever spent to-date! We would not hesitate to recommend friends and family and to use this company again for future projects. 10 Stars all the way!!!!

We needed to remove the asbestos-containing pipe-wrap in our boiler room in order to facilitate the placement of a new boiler. Accu-star Environmental provided a prompt appointment, estimate, and answered all our questions thoroughly. They provided proof of insurance and qualifications. The service was excellent also....the crew were diligent, efficient and friendly. The result was great - all materials were isolated properly and removed, and the area was left very clean. I would highly recommend this company.

We found Accu-Star on Home Stars and saw the good reviews so called for a quote for our sun room demo. Nev came and spoke with us about all the specifics of the job and quoted us a fair price. The workmen showed up as scheduled, were extremely polite and professional and did an excellent job finishing on time and cleaning up to our satisfaction. We also asked about demolishing our en suite bathroom which they also did. They sealed off the bathroom and covered a pathway to the front door ensuring to dust or debris was left when they were done. This was a super clean job and I had been worried about the mess. The bin was covered at night and gone when the job was done. There was no mess. We highly recommend Nev and his crew for demolition work. They were professional, very easy to talk to and, very considerate of our property and did a super job. Nev made sure we were happy with the job when it was done.

We're renovating the exterior of our home and we needed extensive demolition done prior to the reno. I received 2 quotes and Accu-Star's quote was more than competitive. Once we met Nev and understood the level of knowledge and experience behind him, we knew we would be in good hands. The scope of work included taking down an exterior stair structure, a portico, and large retaining walls that over-took the property. Two soil and two concrete bins later our property is 95% ready to go. Our windows and doors are installed, the perimeter is being waterproofed and the stucco contractor will begin in a couple of week. Once this is done, we're bringing Nev's team back to excavate 10 inches deeper so that the patio stones and interlocking brick will be levelled with the adjacent neighbour's asphalt driveway.
