Accu-star was recommended by my real estate agent. I worked with the owner (Nev) directly and his office team (Amanda and Alysha) and enjoyed an outstanding experience. The work was very well done and exceeded expectations (team swept and vacuumed basement and garage after work was done!), the job was fairly priced and completed on time, the experience was stress-free since the team engendered trust, and I would certainly recommend Accu-star.

Project was delivered on time. It was a fair price price The sales VP listened to our concerns and followed up with staff to make sure that they were handled correctly. The crew did an excellent job of cleanup.

We contacted accu-star environmental after looking at homestars reviews and when another vendor (also listed) was unprofessional in providing us responses and feedback. We're glad they were.. because Accu-star was so helpful on short-notice. Our home was listed so needed to be discreet and they took care of our every need. Michael and Lawrence were our removal crew.. Genny our inspector and Amanda provided all the admin support - each was excellent! .. so was the price as well Thank God for Accu-Star :)

After starting on an insulation project for my house, we discovered that the ceiling in the upstairs of my house had asbestos in the original plaster work. Genny came out and gave me a quote for the work, which, while not the cheapest, met the provincial standards for abatement of this type of material (something quotes from other contractors didn't include), and ensured that the rest of the house would not be contaminated with asbestos. The work was done on a tight timeline, and Genny even came in in the very early hours of the final day to get an air sample before my next contractors arrived, so we could start work as soon as possible. They were thorough in their analysis and work, and did an excellent job cleaning up everything after the job was completed. While I hope I don't have to deal with more asbestos, I would definitely recommend them.

Accustar did a great job. Terrance is very knowledgeable and helpful. We was able to work with our condensed timeline and change the scope of the project on the fly (at our request). Would definitely use Accustar again!

While renovating our newly purchased home, we discovered some mold in our basement. We called Accu-star in for an assessment ASAP as we have young kids. Terrence from Accu-Star arrived the next day and walked me through his very thorough assessment complete with explanations and his thoughts on causes. He also pointed out that we had asbestos tiles below our subflooring and walked me through, in very understandable language, what the potential risks were and why his recommendation was to remove it all at once. I never felt pressured or made to feel scared. He was knowledgeable and reassuring and I felt very confident that he was being honest and forthright with me and not just trying to sell me services. Once the team got started, they were very professional and did a great job of keeping my house as clean as possible. The team was equally knowledgeable about the process and were careful to not damage any areas they were not working on. The post-clean-up air assessments gave me the confidence that our home was now safe. As upsetting as it was to have found these materials in our home, the entire Accu-Star team made the process quite easy and I really feel I got great value for my money. I highly recommend them and only gave them 5 stars because there is no option for 6. This is a 6 star company.

We recently hired Accu-Star to remove a small amount of asbestos found wrapped around some of our pipes. Terrance and his crew were informative and very professional. The job was done efficiently and exactly as had been communicated to us during the initial meeting. We would not hesitate in recommended Accu-Star to our friends and neighbors

I am doing a total renovation on a home that we purchased. My contractor noticed both asbestos and mold in different areas and he was not qualified to do this area. I had used Accu-star before for a demolition so I called them for this issue. Terrance came out and was totally professional. He gave me a quote that was reasonable and so I had them do the work. They were quick, clean, and professional.

I need some work done on the heating ducts. Our heating guy came to review and spotted what looked like asbestos wrap. Not a big problem as it was not loose but worth taking out. I called Accu-star and Terrance came out. He walked through our home and showed me where we had asbestos, very useful becauset I didn't know where it could be given the age of our house. The asbestos tape as scattered throughout the basement some in very difficult to reach spots. Terrance was informative and professional. He set up a plan and when their technicians came out to do the work, they were thorough, professional, and very tidy. The work was contained and we felt totally at ease, even the dog.

We had several floor registers that we were concerned had asbestos. So we called Accu-star for an inspection. The inspection was free. We then had Accu-star remove the asbestos around the vents. There price was fair and the work was done quickly and professionally.
