Nev Budhwa did a water damage and mold inspection in my home and I found him to be incredibly professional, polite but approachable, informative and a pleasant person I could trust with these important matters. I learned so much that day and it informed me to what I needed to look for in repairs and saved me time and money. It was worth every penny. Thank you very much Nev!

After our mold remediation project in the Attic they came in ( very flexible in terms of timing) and conducted several air quality tests that I had requested. They were very professional and offered several suggestions throughout the process. I would definitely recommend this group. They also offered free advise in terms of contractor referrals. Overall excellent job.

I was very impressed by Nev's professionalism and the throughness of his inspection. We had been experiencing leaks in our basement and were unable to locate the source. Nev took the time to explain the causes and most importantly recommend solutions to our problem. The inspection report and thermal imaging acted as an impartial second opinion on the repairs needed and helped us to decide which services were necessary. We noticed water coming into our basement a few times this year and we were worried about the possibility of mold. We called Nev and when he first told us the cost of detecting the mold, we thought it was a little steep, but after it was all said and done, it was well worth the money. Nev took the time to explain what are issues were, was extremely thorough and very professional. The next day I remembered another section of the basement I forgot to ask him about and he came back at no charge! Nev is one of the good guys and I'd recommend his service to anyone worried about mold/air quality in their home.

I called Nev to test the air in our home after we had an issue with water damage and was relieved to speak to Nev to gain invaluable knowledge on the damage and remediation. Nev provided the information about mold and what was required to clean up the problem. The lab report was provided in a timely manner and easy to understand.

We live in a rented condo townhouse on the ground level. We have the air-conditioning unit & the mechanical room on the outside. There had been a water leak right underneath the front door & by the outside porch, & this going on made the front of our house look really ugly. after a while, nearly 2 years ago , a lot of mold started to grow inside our bedroom walls & made breathing difficult & made my girlfriend, my dog & myself very very sick. Once we complained to our landlord, he sent someone to simply paint over the mold, so needless to say the mold kept on coming back. after this had repeated for a few times,, we took the landlord to the court, & so he ripped the walls completely & put new drywalls. but again about three months ago, the leak started to spread again, & this time inside the house got wet & all the hardwood flooring started to bubble up, causing my girlfriend to fall & injure herself. & of course the mold was back as well. This time, my landlord tried to blame the whole situation back on us, billing me with thousands of dollars in repairs, saying that we moved the air-conditioning line from the drain in the mechanical room, where as I was confident that the cause must be something else. Hence I began to search on google for experts on this matter & I came across AccuStar. & boy, am I happy to find them. The approach was super professional from the first moment on the telephone, They even gave me a discount once I explained the it is a very small house & that I don't have a lot of money. On the inspection they, when they sent a gentleman to figure the problem out, I was more impressed with him being precisely on time, well mannered & know exactly what he's doing & what to look for, I was also very impressed with their equipments i.e the infrared camera's & heat & moist detectors. In just under 25 minutes, he was able to detect that the leak is coming from the hot water tank, he was even able to show me where exactly the water was dripping, & recorded a video of it. By just the next day, & this was critical for me since I had a short time frame to present this, he gave me a 19 page thorough report along with a video of the problem & that had really helped me solve the issue with my bad landlord. I couldn't be happier.

I contacted Nev as a last resort. I am living in a high-rise condominium and have had persistant dampness and flooding over the last few summers whenever the AC units were on. Including a flood from 4 floors above when a unit overflowed dumping gallons of water onto my floor. I had contacted the management company - who after 9 service calls was insinuating my 25lb (housetrained!) dog was the culprit since they were no closer to a solution. Concerned for both of our health I decided to take matters into my own hands, and at least have the air checked. Nev came in and made his recommendations and through the hard evidence he has provided as to the source of the leak as well as deducing a floor to ceiling mould issue (verified by lab tests, behind the wall - inaccessible to my dog!) I am confidant that I will be able to prove, if not to the condo board, to the courts of the condo corp and managements negligence and the resulting damage. I would more than recommend him to my mother. I'd insist. Nev's my hero! He truly saved the day and was worth every penny. And he's a super nice guy to boot :)

My 5 year old daughter and I have allergies to scented products and needed a home inspection for our new house. I had spoken to the owner of Accu-Star Inc. before regarding a referral for another issue in our current home. At that time I had mentioned the scent allergy issues. When it came time for the home inspection on the house I was purchasing, Nevo remembered the allergy issue and went out and purchased the body soap we used for himself and associates to make sure that my daughter would be safe and not have an asthma attack from the smell of scented soaps. He made this process much easier for us. Thank you. I would recommend him again.
