    Asbestos abatement

    Found some asbestos tiles in our century home. The company provided a prompt reply as well as a very competitive quote. The service was performed within 48 hours and all paperwork followed in a timely fashion. Never had to follow up or question anything. They were extremely professional and friendly. Thanks!

    Honest company

    I called this company to come see if I had asbestos pipe wrap in my basement. They were lovely and so honest telling me the great news that it is not asbestos. Not many companies are this honest. Thanks to Elizabeth and Nev for being great!

    Removal of Absetos Tile

    Had asbestos tile in the basement, Accu-Star came the same day and quoted project. Was able to remove tile the next day. The worker who came to remove the tile was polite and friendly and did a through job.

    Small Asbestos Removal at Mom's Home

    We had noticed for years, asbestos pipe wrap in Mom's basement. Finally we decided we have to do something about it, as Mom is a senior and this was a bit of a worry for her. We were concerned based on what we've seen on TV, that this would be a large job. However, Elizabeth came over; she was extremely professional, looked everything over and assured us it was a small job, they had seen much bigger jobs. On the day of removal, 3 techs came, and had the job done within 3 hours. Everything was tarped off, removed, disposed, vacuumed, washed down and cleaned thoroughly. You would never even know they had been in the house! Wonderful company, exemplary service. I would gladly recommend them. No more worries!

    Kitchen Demolition

    The crew came and took expert care of my hardwood floors and were very friendly. After completing the demolition left my home clean and tidy. I would definitely use this contractor again.

    Asbestos & Mould Removal

    Projects were quoted very quickly and honestly, at a reasonable cost. Work was done very well, as specified and on schedule. We have used this contractor multiple times and would definitely recommend.

    Attic Mould Inspection

    I contacted Accu- Star Environment to inspect the attic of my rental property after a ceiling water leak. My initial phone contact, Amanda was positive and upbeat. Elizabeth arrived with her ladder, the next day. She did a thorough inspection of the attic and determined that there was some mould localized to the area where the leak occurred. Accu-Star's quote was detailed and competitive and offered price matching. This was not the major problem, costing thousands of dollars that I had feared before getting quotes. Elizabeth also spent some time answering questions about other areas of my house that could be environmentally problematic in the future. This is a full service company that deals with all kinds of environmental issues, including issues that may plague landlords. Had I not needed the mould work completed the next day; Accu-Star would have been my first choice for the remediation. They will be my first choice in the future.

    Lead assessment and asbestos testing

    We've worked with this company twice and were very happy both times. The first time Terrance came out to test for asbestos in advance of a renovation (our home was negative, thank goodness). He was kind and patient, explaining the process and answering numerous questions. Last weekend Nev came out to our house (free of charge) to assess the potential for lead paint. Like Terrance, he was kind, honest and spent the time to answer our many questions. What I appreciate about this company is that their first priority is keeping customers safe in their environments. They aren't interested in creating a false sense of fear or urgency to sell their services. I trust Accu-Star and will definitely contact them if I need their services in the future.

    Mold Removal and Remediation

    After reading many of the Homestars reviews and doing some comparison pricing with around 5 other companies we decided to go with Accu-Star. When their rep Terrence first came out he was extremely friendly and recommended the best strategy to get everything cleaned up, remediated and at the most affordable cost. In addition the two man crew that came to do the job was just as friendly, courteous and did an amazing cleanup job, on time and on budget. Even their admin Alysha was friendly and helpful in ensuring all of the scheduling was sorted out appropriately. I would definitely recommend Accu-Star to anyone in need of mold removal and remediation. They’re a great team to work with. Thanks guys!

    Debris removal and clean-up

    From the start we were impressed with Nev's customer service, attention to detail, and positive attitude in dealing with, what for us, was a difficult and, at times overwhelming task. He was prompt in providing a clear and detailed quote. His crew was able to start at a time that was convenient for us and accommodated our requests throughout the 5 day clean-out. The house was left clean and deodourized, including the stone basement. I would highly recommend Nev and his crew.
