Mario and his team did and excellent job, I would highly recommend MMT! I had a leak in my basement block foundation and I researched and contacted many contractors to come give me a quote. Mario was always available by phone or text. He was very easy to talk to and helped describe potential causes of the water ingress and options to fix the leak. He walked me through all the steps and what the best and worst case scenarios were, unlike other contractors who always pushed to sell the worst case scenario. Mario was always very patient with me and answered all my questions no matter how simple they may have been, he even helped me understand quotes I got from other contractors and how/why they were different. He is very punctual and calls if he is running late (unlike many contractors I know). When the MMT team arrived they were very professional and completed the 46ft of waterproofing in just 2 days. They were organized and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work and made sure the adjacent property was kept clean and tidy. It has now been 2.5 months since the repair was completed and with many heavy rainfalls afterwords I am thrilled to say my basement is DRY! Thank you MMT! 100% best work and for the price!

MMT was the first company to provide me with an estimate for repairs to my basement. Mario was able to come right away and quickly assessed the situation. He gave me several options and a fair price. While I immediately had a good feeling about Mario I did my due diligence and got 5 additional establishments for the job. This took time. Three weeks later when I was ready to go I called Mario. Initially it was going to be a weeks wait but when Mario heard I was starting inside renovations on the basement he changed his schedule and started the very next day. His team was efficient and hard working. After two days of hard work the job was done. One complication was that part of the work site was under a finished deck. MMT was the only company willing to not only remove but reinstall the portion of the deck that needed moving. They did so by unfasining the ledger bolts and lifting it in one piece. In the end I had new window wells installed along with a freshly sealed basement. It has been three months since the waterproofing. We have had several heavy rainfalls and my basement has remained dry.

We hired MMT after a leak this spring drenched the carpets in our basement. We are very happy with the repair work done. Mario (their front man) negotiated pricing, provided comprehensive explanations of everything, and took lots of photos of the problems found and of the repairs (from start to finish). The cost was reasonable and they didn’t waste time trying to sell solutions we didn’t need. The job was complicated by a gas line in an inconvenient spot but they handled it without a problem. I was concerned there would be a mess left afterwards, the work area was close to my neighbour’s garden and walkway, but they left the area very neat and tidy. If I need this kind of work in future I’ll hire them back in a second.

After searching and researching reviews on HomeStars I selected four different companies for a quote to fix cracks in my outer home foundation which was causing leaks into my finished basement. Mario from MMT was the first to immediately call me back to setup an appointment. Upon arrival he completed a thorough inspection and assessed the best solution for our issue and was very genuine in character . Although Mario's estimate was in the mid range of the other competing estimates, we factored in company expertise, reviews, and our general comfort level with the sales person upon final selection. They showed up on time and completed on time. The 2 guys worked diligently and kept everything orderly and clean in the backyard. They were pleasant and politely answered any questions I had. Mario also swung by to verify both before and after the work was completed. We were very satisfied with the work Mario did and have referred MMT to a few other people who have contracted Mario and are equally impressed. Mario will be back to complete some additional work that we contracted him to do and always showed up when he said he would and provided us with various solutions. I wouldn't hesitate to refer MMT to do the waterproofing!

MMT Waterproofing were excellent from start to finish. Mario is personable and knowledgeable. He explained the process well to me and was available by text and email with any questions I had. He predicted the work would take 2 weeks but they actually got it done in 4 days! The workers arrived early each morning and worked consistently throughout the day. They cleaned up really well after themselves. We still have to put our basement back together but hopefully this has solved any future mold problems!

Mario and his team are extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and hard working! Their follow up service is also exceptional and Mario has been available for any questions we've had. We are so thankful that we found MMT to do our waterproofing. We always had a water problem in our unfinished basement and knew we needed to fix it after this summer's rainstorms. Our backyard had been completed a few years ago with a new veranda/concrete pad so there was a challenge on that side of the house. Mario came right away to assess the job and prepare a detailed quote for us. His team showed up on time and completed the job quickly, seamlessly attaching both the internal and external waterproofing. Our basement is dry now thanks to MMT. Thank you Mario & team!

We hired MMT for a basement interior waterproofing job. The job was well executed and in a timely manner. Mario was very professional and took time to explain the various steps. We appreciated the customer service and how any of the issues that were discovered were addressed. Highly recommended.

Very professional and friendly. Gave a quote and stuck with it, even took pictures to show me the work as I couldn't be there myself. Even coming back 6 months later to do a free regrading after the dirt has settled. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I got several quotes to patch a crack and waterproof a basement wall. Mario was very professional and thorough, unlike several of his competitors. I've never seen anyone work as hard as the workmen who did the job. They also found an additional hole and crack which were patched at no additional cost. After they left, I noticed that the tap was leaking. Mario came right away and fixed it. The after sales service is very important to me. Also, I appreciate the transferable warranty from this well established company. The work was well done and I have recommended this company to my neighbour.
