With our family growing, we were needing extra room for a play space (the amount of stuff that comes with kids is overwhelming) and a separate guest space for our out of town family (who are wanting to visit so much more now that children are in the picture)! We thought we would be able to finish the basement ourselves but quickly learned that we did not have the time or experience! Planit was able to bring our vision to life ... and so quickly! While it cost a bit more than the competitors we would definitely use / recommend their services in the future! They were excellent at staying on top of contractors for quality and time lines. They did such a great job of keeping us informed and up to date. We felt very valued and respected as home owners. I really appreciate that they used skilled people for each step of the way from planning, to interior designing, to construction and finishing! Overall it was a positive experience working with them!

I am very satisfied with my finished product. The staff at Planit assisted me in the selection of finishes and design. It was built with the special items I wanted and it ended up being exactly what I wanted. It is warm, cozy, and meets all codes and inspections. Their employees, particularly Steve Belanger, went out of his way to ensure I was completely satisfied. Everyone who has been over has complimented the finished product and I would be happy to recommend their work to anyone.

We shopped around for a company to turn our boring, ugly, unused basement into something that would be fun for us to entertain in. Planit Builders WAS NOT who we originally went with... We originally went with another basement developer - but from the onset of the job they became wildly disorganized - and often did not seem to know what they were doing. A week would go by without anyone showing up, and the stuff they did get done was not professional at all. Ultimately, after much frustrations, we walked away from this builder as they did not fulfill their end of the agreement. A coworker told me that she had a good experience with Planit Builders doing her Garage. I called them, they came in. We liked them right away. We decided we could trust Planit as they were big enough to have the ability to fulfill our expectations. When they began they took down everything the other contractor did (and good thing too - as the old contractor installed the wrong wiring in our basement). They did a total Mike Holmes and ripped out all the crappy workmanship. They kept me well informed on everything that was going on. In the end the employees of Planit were extremely organized, they did what they said, the finishes were better then what we have upstairs, the painters were excellent and I just could not be more happy. I recommend Planit Builders to anyone that is interested in having a worry free basement development. They saved my sanity!

We originally contacted 3 different companies for a quote andplanit builders was in line with the others. We felt that their initial contact person, Mike was very attentive, honest and prompt in dealing with the quote and job details. The quote was for a 24 x 24' garage with walkway on slightly sloping lot. We hoped to get it completed before the cold weather set in. There were a few delays, but upon review of of the job found that they were as a result of the busyness of the sub-trades and the unpredictability of the weather The work completed was done very well and very good quality materials were used. There wasn't any quibbling over details and there was always concern for the satisfaction of the customer. Overall I would say the job was done well and we felt that we were treated honestly. The result a sturdy garage which looks great, is warm and a pleasure to use.

After meeting a planit builders rep at a home builders show we invited them over to generate a quote. I found their service awesome from the moment they stepped into our home. The sales agent new his product very well making sure that we did not miss anything in the selection of our garage. The pad was poured with great care, the garage went up in one day. Shingled in one day and sided in two days... All of their contractors were very knowledgable and on time. I would be very happy to give a solid 2 thumbs up for anyone wanting a garage.

We met PLANiT Builders at the home show. They came to do a "free estimate" we weren't really planning on building the garage in 2009. BUT we were so impressed with the service during the estimate that we agreed to build. It was an awesome experience. They took care of every detail. Including financing with the TD Bank. Thank you!

These guys built a garage for me a couple years ago. They didn't show up when they said they would, then one day they just showed up and started working. They did they concrete pad then I didn't see or here from them for a couple weeks. They came back again one day without a phone call and started working. Garage went up in 1 day. I asked them to respect my nieghbours property line which they didn't. They piled up they're garbage including nails on my nieghbours gravel parking pad then after repeated calls to the supervisor to clean up their nails, the garbage was removed but the nails weren't I spend over an hour picking all the nails off my neighbours parking pad, and in the end filled a coffee can full. Once the garage was up, they never properly back filled around the garage. I called a couple times and left messages to have them come back and do that, but they never did. In the last couple years I notice that the quality wasn't there when it was built. My pad has a large crack in it (almost a cm wide). My door doesn't close well because the garage has settled. And you can see rippling in the siding. Not good in the end. I wish I used anyone else but them.

Great Customer Focus! PLANiT Builders has been excellent from start to finish. My wife and I were referred to them through a co-worker who also loved their work. My co-worker recieved a refferal reward. The team at PLANiT was very informative and helpful in helping us create what we invisioned. The planning phase passed very quickly and then we were assigned a great site supervisor (Steve Belanger). Steve was very helpful in not only meeting our expectations, but also going one or two or three steps further. He actually condensed our building schedule and was able to complete the job a few weeks earlier than initially expected. I am in the residential home building industry, and I can honestly say the craftsmanship in their work is excellent. I never felt like I was nagging them with my concerns, and everything I mentioned was addressed promptly. I will gladly recommend PLANiT to anyone. PLANiT Builders did a great job on our basement development. The PLANit builder staff was great and the trades were very professional and accommodating as well. We gets lots of complements on the quality. I would recommend PB to anyone that is thinking of renovating there basements or building a garage.

From beginning to end we were very impressed by Planit Builders. They made the entire process stress free and the finished result is fantastic. We would definitely recommend them and will be using them for our garage build in the future.
