    Drain Job

    From the very step Bosco Home Services was great! Murphy took my call, kept me in the loop throughout the day and was actually fun to speak with (you don't get fun any more talking on phone). Technician came to house and were fast, clean and very friendly. I would recommend Bosco to my friends and family any time.

    Quote for Faucet and Cistern Repair

    The good news is that they came quickly. The rest is bad news. The Bosco guy quoted me $1000 for repairs that I was able to do myself for $5, a few hours and some free advice (YouTube!). Bosco were insisting on replacing the kitchen faucet, when it only needed a (free from Moen via my local hardware store) replacement cartridge, and replacing an entire cistern mechanism when it just needed a new flapper ($4). Their logic was they could fully guarantee the work if they replaced these items. That may be sound logic for them, but not for customer care. I thought they were there to help me - it felt more like I was there to help them. Oh, actually it cost me $79 because they charged me $75 for the quote. Proceed with caution.

    Clogged pipes

    The kitchen sink was not draining. The contractors (not Bosco) who had installed the sink and plumbing created a difficult maze of pipe that was challenging to clear. Three different trucks came from Bosco over the course of 2 days until Magic Mike (as I call him) managed to clear out the clog. Even though three different trucks came out, we were only charged for the initial visit. Each of the plumbers who came was professional, personable and very helpful. We learned a lot about how to keep the pipes clear and we are fairly sure that this won't happen again thanks to their advice and tutelage. This could have ended up being an extremely costly fix, but ended up being a very reasonably priced and positive experience. I highly recommend their services.

    Fix leaking pedestal sink

    They arrived same day, fixed the issue and at same time fixed my leaking toilet tank which I did not even know about! Professional, good response, and good communication. I'd recommend them for sure. They also made some recommendations and noted them for potential future work.

    Furnace Tune up

    Needed a furnace cleaning and got a call from Bosco who had done the AC tune up in the summer. I was offfered a great price for the furnace service. Technician was prompt and courteous. Did a great job. He noticed that my hunidifier was still set for summer. Thanks!

    Backed up Drain

    No Heat - Service Call

    As a new customer, I called Bosco requesting service for our furnace which was not giving any heat. The dispatcher was courteous, the respond time was prompt and the technician was polite.Now for the bad part. Your technician informed us that the repair needed would cost well over $1,000.00 and if we decided to go ahead, this could only be done on January 2nd, as the wholesalers were closed for the holidays and he could not get the necessary parts to fix the problem. In addition, he informed us that this was only a band-aid repair and the chances are that we would have to replace the furnace, within a year. He indicated that it was unsafe to operate the furnace and that we would be wasting money on the repairs and suggested installing a new furnace. Still having faith in Bosco, I agreed to get a quote from them on a new furnace. Not feeling too happy with the way this process was progressing, I decided to call in another company to check out the furnace. To cut a long story short, the technician from the other company did the same diagnostics procedures as Bosco but went one step further. Using a handheld manometer, it was established that the vent outside was blocked. By merely taping the ice off the outside vent, the furnace worked. After writing to them they contacted me to apologize for the bad call and assured me that this was not the way Bosco works. They gave me a full refund and have assured me that if I deal with them again, they would prove to me that I would be more than happy with their service. I am willing to give them a second chance based on their follow up and response to my problem.

    Water Heater Replacement

    Dave on Dispatch and Joe and Jay who provided the service were all very professional, courteous and efficient. They all made me feel like we were in good hands. I called at about 10 am and we had hot water again at 4:00 pm on the same day.

    furnace tune up

    We bought a coupon from Wagjag for a furnace tune up from them. I have to say we had a great experience with them. I booked my appointment but something came up and I needed an earlier time slot. They did everything they could for me and before you know it, someone was at my door! I really appreciated that gesture and wanted to share it. Because so many people purchased this wagjag offer they were booked up solid, but they made it work for us and I am very grateful. Customer satisfaction is a priority. The person who serviced our furnace was Mike. He was very knowlegable and explained everything. He was very patient and thorough. Thanks guys! I highly recommend you!

    Furnace Inspection

    The service was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Unfortunately for us, he found a crack in our furnace which meant that we had to replace the furnace. The cost of the furnace inspection was reasonable.
