    Sewage pipes cleaned out and liner installation

    Prompt, professional and friendly service. Always made to feel that my problem was their main concern until I was happy with the final result. Every team member was excellent during their particular participation during the entire project.

    Furnace/Air Cond. tune up

    I have dealt with Bosco Home Services for myself, mother and mother in law. Tom has been an excellent service rep. He is very knowledgeable. and explains thoroughly. Great Salesman! He is very pleasant and will answer all of your questions.

    Air Conditioning Check-Up

    This is the second time I have had Bosco out to do check ups inside my home. The 1st was for the Furnace and that went really well so when they called back to offer the AIR CON I agreed given how hot things have been. Tom G. was the technician and is an obvious veteran in this industry. He told me right up front in plain-speak that he would show me how to get "more" out of our Air Conditioning, plus teach me to understand the settings upstairs and at the furnace. That is exactly what he did..it wouldn't surprise me if they used this guy for training new-hires. We found some water on the floor and in the end everything turned out ok... but again the best part was the technician explaining why things were happening along with tips on my Humidifier etc. Tom recommended some items, but not in a "sales-commission" kinda way... I know nothing about this stuff and it was nice to see another company out there who does what they say and are not always looking to up-sell you on the spot. I run 2 companies myself and this is the same manner in which we service new and existing clients. Retention and Word of Mouth go a lonng way when you send out solid employees and they execute what the company has taught them.

    AC repair

    The only AC repair firm that was actually available as advertised. We came home after work on a day with temps of 32C to find AC not working. No other company - including our own - could actually get someone out that nite. Bosco got a service person out to us in less than 2 hours - Joseph was very professional and got the issue resolved in under an hour. We have officially switched all our heating/AC business to Bosco. Very impressive service!

    checking central air conditioner

    I had placed a service call because my airconditioner didn't seem to be responding to the thermostat properly. Joe G from Bosco arrived exactly on time and checked everything. He discovered I still had a PeakSaver device on my furnace and removed it. Then he installed, free of charge, a new thermostat. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. His work was done efficiently and in a very timely manner. The entire service call was done at no charge to me. Bosco is extremely impressive with their fantastic service!!

    Supply and installation of new furnace, tankless water heater and soft water system

    Bosco installed a new furnace for me in January of 2012 and did a great job, as I've come to expect from them - they are exceptionally professional. A few months later, I decided to get a new tankless water heater and soft water system installed. Mike Roach and his team did a fantastic job. Mike was knowledgeable, patient, thorough and clearly takes alot of pride in his work. I trust Bosco and its employees implicitly.

    Faucet installation and plumbing

    I had a new sink installed in our kitchen. Bosco installed a new faucet and re-connected sink plumbing. Two days later the sink was backing up. I attributed this to Bosco's installation and complained. The same day, Bosco's Matt Weber returned, and determined the cause was blockage. Not installation related. I disputed that. Having talked the matter out with his supervisor, Matt "snaked" the piping without charge. At the end of it all, fairly put, my position was not free from doubt. I compliment Matt for politely representing his employer's interests while displaying excellent customer service. I credit the supervisor for his off site support. Together, they left me with a very high opinion of Bosco.

    A/C Tune up

    Excellent service, knowledgeable specialist, walked me through all the steps of the inspection and provided me with a list of issues/solutions for my A/C system. I am very satisfied! Thank you,Jay!

    Air conditioning not cooling below certain temperature

    We contacted Bosco to do maintenance on our air conditioning unit (10 years old0 because it was not cooling below a certain point. Bosco came out and looked at the unit a bit and decided that we probably have a leak in our coil. They explained we had 2 options: first one is to have them look for leak (795$), change the coil (1300$), fill up with freon (1300$) so that all would cost us +/- 3000$, option 2 replace the unit: their estimate came to be 3200$. We decided to get other technicians in to have a different opinion (since 3000$ is a lot of money), turns out 2 other independant technicians came out and told us there is no leak at all ( since there is hardly any pressure drop) and the unit just needs to have a new filter, cleaned and we need to change the airflow in the house. We are very unhappy with Bosco since we feel that we were scammed into installing a new unit buy giving us a totally incorrect observation. If we have gone for the other technicians first we would have only lost 80$ for the service call - now we lost 129$ with bosco + 2 times 80$ to confirm Bosco was trying to scam us. Without the extra opinions we would have lost 3000$ to replace a perfectly fine unit. This to us is a scam - don't trust Bosco with your airconditioning unit! UPDATE: After placing this review I was contacted by Bosco to make things right. They offered and send me a cheque to pay back all expenses made (Bosco service call cost + 2 other service call costs). I was very pleased to hear this and I think that this follow up was done in a proper manner. Therefore I upgraded the rating to a 3.

    Air Conditioner diagnosis and repair

    I spoke with Murphy who set up a diagnostic visit, and within 90 miinutes, Tom was on the scene. He quickly identified my A/C unit's problem, he had to go and get the part from a supplier, but he installed it quickly. While Tom was working he provided me with lots of information about how I can keep my air conditioner working more smoothly.
