We moved into our home in August 2015, and in November we started hearing scratching in the attic (in our master bedroom right above our heads). We had never experienced this in our previous home and didn't know what to do. The noises in the attic continued for another two weeks before I found the amazing reviews for Snap Pest Control and Joe. I sent him an email (and my husband gave him a call) and a few days later he came by to take a look and give us an estimate. He explained what he thought it was, and explained all the possible entrances and potential entrances the creature had to our attic. His solution involved putting 'cages' around all of our roof vents (about 10), putting wire mesh in the corners that were exposed, and building door/hole that would allow the creature out but not back in (one-way door). He also explained that he would put mouse bait in the attic and seal off any potential holes in the garage (he did not end up doing the garage). He even figured out where water was coming in through the roof into our spare bath and included the repair of that in his work. The examination during his initial visit was a couple of hours. I booked him immediately for the full scope of work that he had quoted, and was able to fit me in a couple of weeks later (it was November and we were lucky the weather was mild). He estimated the work would take about 6 hours, but it was less than that and he came back for a second visit just to put in the mouse bait. He assured me that his work was 'guaranteed for life' and if I ever had a problem then I should call him first and give him an opportunity to fix it. He explained that since I had done all of the recommended work that I shouldn't have a problem going forward. Every day for the next week after he did the work I listened in a silent house for any sign of an unwanted house guest in the attic and there was nothing. He solved my problems although he warned me that the raccoons likely found a new home in my neighbours' homes. It is now late February 2016, and I still do not have any issues. I would definitely call Joe again - in fact when we first moved in we had some issues with wasp nests (which he said he also handles). I have recommended him to my parents already (but he doesn't go to Markham). Hire Joe, do what he recommends and your problem will be solved once and for all. Many thanks Snap Pest Control! My mom's house had a mice issue a few months ago and we called Joe after reading the reviews on HomeStar. He was amazing and extremely thorough! He took the time to inspect the entire property including the garage area and figured out that there was an opening above the garage door, which he closed. We did have a few concerns during this process, and every time we called Joe, he took the time to answer our questions and alleviate our concerns. Our mice issue was resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend Joe and have had experience with other companies to see that Joe definitely goes above and beyond.

We had a rodent issue - Nice entering our home, we used traps and had no luck. We found Joe on home stars and we're impressed with his thoroughness and persistence. Joe is not a 'by the hour guy' - he does what it takes to solve the problem. He spent a few hours exploring every knock and cranny - came up with a plan and within a couple of days we had no more incidents. It was a great experience. All most a year a later we saw a sign of a rodent - the first thing we did was call Joe to book an appointment. It turned out to be a false alarm - but we certainly took comfort in knowing we have our go to Rodent expert!

I am so glad I found Joe and had him inspect for mice problems. This man is genuinely honest and considerate. He spent several hours finding the initial opening that the mice were entering from; did all he could to securely close opening and placed plenty of poison all around. Joe is very engaging and gladly shows and explains everything he finds and does. This was all after a few weeks earlier I hired a large company that charged more and did NOTHING but toss some poison around. The guy did not bring any other equipment to check for where the droppings were and only through my insistence did he pop his head into the ceiling (I removed a part of the drop ceiling) as he didn't care to look. He had no interest in exploring where the mice may be coming from etc. For this I paid even more than what Joe charged. Joe did everything I would expect to be done and then some. Great person! We hired Joe when we noticed wasps started building a nest in the wall of our brick house. Joe vacuumed the nest to reduce the number of wasps to prevent them going inside the house after the treatment was applied.

Had a family of squirrels that refused to move out despite all efforts, critter ridder, noise, etc. Called Joe, he installed a one way door, closed up all other possible entries back into the roof. Squirrels moved on within a few hours. Joe came back to remove the one-way door, screened off the original hole and haven't seen any sign of squirrels at the spot since. Recommended him to my neighbour across the street, who suddenly has a family of squirrels living in her walls..they kind of looked like mine..

We had black squirrels in our attic and now this problem has been taken care of thanks to Joe from Snap Pest Control. The entry point was in a difficult spot to work in. The location was in a corner at the chimney and the soffit and Joe had to get on top of the sun room and block the entry point. Joe is a very nice guy, he was on time and the job took about 2 to 3 hours.

I called a random company to remove a raccoon, they were to busy.... they recommended Joe Bruno !! They were right, he was on time, professional and honest. Great guy, I highly recommend using Joe, you won't be disappointed. Gord

I was doing some organizing in my garage when I climbed my ladder; when I got to the top where I could inspect the area between my soffit and roof, I saw what had to be the biggest wasp nest I've ever seen. In other words...it was a whole lot of nope-no way-I'm not going to touch that-I'm getting off the ladder-and-calling someone. Seeing as how I contribute honest reviews to Homestars, I thought I would trust the other reviewers on here and try out a company that was reviewed highly. Enter SNAP pest control...I gave Joe a call and he came out within a day. He cleaned out the nest, vacuumed it all up and was a pleasure to work with. He even charged me less than what I would have expected! I would definitely recommend him to anyone and while I hope I never have to use his services again, he would be the first person I would call if I do need it.

Joe did an amazing job of replying to our inquiry in a timely manner, attending at our home on time, dealing with the problem we were having off our kitchen deck with wasps, being professional, courteous and patient and working into the evening until the job was done perfectly. My husband and I could not have been more pleased with any professional, and we will be recommending Joe and his company to all our friends for many years to come - and we have LOTS of friends!
