    Removal of mice from home

Joe was very thorough as compared to other pest control services. He took the time to find where the mice might be entering the home and sealed the existing holes. Most companies would place traps or poison the pests, but Joe actually took the time to solve the problem for good. He was very reasonable with his fees. I would hire him again without any hesitation. Thanks Joe.

Thanks for you wonderful review. I had to remove the stairs to the house from the garage. I had to cut out a 2 foot wide swath of dry wall and rebuild it all back together to find the hole leading into the basement. I meshed all the openings as well as the floor areas and finally bleached it all to get rid of any residual mice scents' which could attract even more mice to the garage to begin with. Thanks for the business.Joe

    Dealing with carpenter ant infestation

When I discovered ants in the frame of a door I was having repaired I was quite depressed. Two years before when I was seeing ants I'd had the house sprayed with a chemical that made my cat very sick, and I didn't want to do that again. When Joe came he was incredibly helpful in explaining the root cause of my problem (an ant colony outside the house) and why the last treatment hadn't worked (it had only affected the ants in the house, but didn't stop the main colony outside the house from sending more ants in afterwards.) He taught me what to look for when trying to locate that outside colony, and dusted only a few strategic areas with an insecticidal powder.

Thank you for your review. Carpenter ants are a challenging pest to eradicate. Now that you know what to look for we can stop any potential re occurrences before they happen. Joe .Snap Pest Control

    Squirrels in the attic

I just had the best bad experience once can have. I live in a semi-detached house and my neighbour and I share the attic. I've heard squirrels in the attic for a couple of weeks and spoke to my neighbour. The squirrels were entering the attic along the roof-line through my neighbour's side, this didn't concern her and she had no plans to fix the problem. I know how much damage squirrels can cause and looked on Homestars and called Joe at Snap. What an amazing man! Not only did he fix the current problem but also patched the next obvious entry point. Plus took pictures of the job, explaining what he did. He also took pictures of damaged shingles that needing fixing on both mine an my neighbours house, saving us $$$$ way before we would have realized there was a problem! What I really appreciate - he gave me an estimate for the job, realizing I was paying for my neighbour's house - that was more than fair, plus he did some additional preemptive work and didn't charge me extra. Now that is someone I will recommend to my friends and family any day.

I'm glad I could help. I realized you were paying to have somebody's property fixed and simply tried to add as much value to the situation as possible. Thanks again for your business.Joe

    Rats in the basement

Joe Bruno at Snap Pest Control is totally amazing. Knowledgable, thorough and reliable. He dealt with our rat problem quickly and not only set traps, but fixed the problem to make sure that they wouldn't come back. He came back twice to follow-up to make sure that the problem had been dealt with properly and totally put ours minds at ease knowing that the rats were gone for good! I would 10000% recommend Joe - he is outstanding.

Thanks for your review. I take rats seriously and know how difficult they can be to fully exterminate. Joe

    mouse/mice

Joe did a great job, was really thorough both inside the house and out. He didn't just drop some bait and leave, he was able to find the entry point and seal it up. Good warranty too. Don't hesitate, call him up if you have a problem with mice.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks for the great review. As an exterminator I feel the most critical aspect of any job to actively locate potential entry points. There is a reason you have mice and its about using investigative tools and techniques to narrow down potential openings. Joe, Snap Pest Control

    Mouse Removal

We have been in our newly purchased home for about 6 months and started to notice mouse droppings in the kitchen. When we heard them in the ceiling it was time to call Joe. We called based on the reviews on this site and were not dissapointed. Joe came quickly and was able to quickly pinpoint the point of entry for the mice. We have not seen any since and are thrilled with the service we received. Thanks Joe!

Thanks for your great review. Just like my response to the review above this one, its about closing those openings. Thanks for the business,Joe

    Mouse extermination

Joe Bruno is the Magnum PI of pest removal. Not only is he incredibly resourceful, thorough and insanely effective but his charming personality makes the entire process painless. Part of me wants the mouse to come back so that I can see him again, but I know it won't because he is that good!

    Answer from pro:

Ah, your too kind. This house can be seen on my web site. It is a house with a hidden window behind a large yew where the hole was situated. I had to follow the process of elimination and it was indeed discovered. I conduct each and every job based upon these principles. Thanks again.Joe

    Squirrels on the Roof

We are very thankful to Joe and his great work. After seeing and hearing squirrels running around constantly on our roof, we knew something was wrong. After reading all the positive reviews, we decided to give Joe a call. He came soon after. Joe explained that the squirrels have managed to bite their way through our unknowingly damaged shingles; they made a hole (beside one of our four vents) straight into our attic. Joe showed us a picture of the hole, discussed what he would do, and went right to work. He installed a one-way door onto the hole (to allow for any squirrels in our attic to get out, but not get back in) and as precautionary, placed mesh beside our other three vents. He said he would come back in four days (Tuesday) to remove the door and then seal up the hole. Joe came on a Friday afternoon and it rained the next night (Saturday). We got a call from Joe early Sunday morning following up. Since Friday's visit, we told him that we have not heard any more of the 'usual' noises. Joe said that he did not slept well knowing that it rained and there was still a hole left on our roof. He came that Sunday afternoon to remove the one-way door and sealed the hole. All in all, Joe is dedicated to his work. Two thumbs up! Thanks Joe.

    Answer from pro:

It so true, here I'm awake at 3:00 am and can't sleep because of the rain which I imagine is getting into your roof and off I go to Toronto. It was the right thing to do given the squirrels were out . Thanks again for you business. Joe, Snap Pest Control

    Raccoon Prevention

Our neighbours had raccoons living in their attic for several weeks, resulting in costly repairs. The critters were all over the neighbourhood, clambering onto roof tops, gazebos, and fences. We decided to take preventive measures to ensure that we did not have the same problem. Joe pointed out that it was unlikely (not impossible) that raccons would get into our attic, but we preferred to go ahead with the job anyway. Joe installed steel mesh over each vent on the roof, so that neither raccoons nor smaller critters like squirrels or birds could get in that way. He was professional, punctual and reasonably priced, and patiently answered all my questions. Thanks Joe for a superb job. I will be sure to recommend you to my friends and colleagues.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks for the great review. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to be proactive when it come to pest control. Roof vents, plumbing stacks, dormers, weak soffits etc.... all can lead to costly encounters with wildlife. Why wait for a problem to happen. Thanks again.Joe

    squirrel problem

A bunch of squirrels managed to get into my house and after one started running around inside I gave Joe at snap pest control a call based on the Homestar reviews. His reviews were excellent and I preferred working with a small company. One never knows with this kind of choice but Joe was remarkable good. He persistently wired up first the back and returned several times to do the front eaves when the squirrels adapted to the traps and wire in the back. He even build a trap around my fireplace!! Eventually the problem was solved. Joe worked so hard on this! Beyond that he is a exceptionally honest and interested in his work. You can't go wrong with Joe...the other reviews all show his dedication.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks for the great review. This was one of the most persistent squirrel jobs I've ever done. The rodents moved from the back of the house to the front of the house and were working together like a well oiled machine. All in all there must have been around 8-10 squirrels running around chewing on everything which wasn't meshed. The house is like Fort Knox right now. Thanks again. Joe
