I call Fixer On The Roof to repair a leak in our roof. They were quick to visit the house and provide estimate right away. They provided a detailed quote for the repair and also recommended a general roof tune-up. I approved both options as I am a big believer in preventative maintenance. They crew was on site the next day. The crew was on time, courteous and informative. They provided photos of the damaged areas on my roof and told me how they would be fixed. Once complete photos were also provided showing the fixed areas. It turns out that my roof needs replacing. They only did the work that was necessary and provided me a discount for the scope not competed. Not a lot of contractor would be so honest and show such integrity. I have since asked them to quote a roof replacement. I am happy to recommend Fixer Roofer for all your roof repair needs.

I was very satisified with my experience with Fixer on the Roof. They arrived when they said they would and took the time to explain how my leaking roof would be fixed. I was impressed with the respect that they had for my property which included not only cleaning up afterwards but taking their shoes off when coming into the house

Leak started in washroom. had repairs done by another guy (not fixer on the roof, for about $400). assured us it was fixed. About 2 months later, in heavy rain, another leak showed up in the bedroom. called same guy who just left cost estimate (2700) for total repair of leaking side of roof. We wasted $400 on patch up job. Decide to call fixer on the roof (angie's list). They gave a thorough assessment of and estimate to repair roof. Had to wait for good weather but repairs were finished on time and crew very professional, cleaned up all debris. Provided photos of repaired roof and explained where leak was coming from. Overall a very satisfactory job.

Hello, we have obtained 5 separate quotes and spoke to all 5 companies and had finally selected Fixer on the Roof partly because of the other reviews on Homestar and also because of the persons we met during the initial appraisal. (Luc & the foreman). we had many follow-up questions and inquiries and they were all being addressed promptly by the company team (Linda and Trish). There were a couple unexpected issues but they were addressed immediately by this company. All in all, the service was excellent, the job was completed to quote, the work crew was respectful and hardworking; we were very happy to work this company. Fixer on the Roof performed a repair job on our roof to fix a water leak . The crew came out within 2 days of approving the work which was great news. The person who was on-site went out of his way to explain the work they were doing and then to show me what work was completed. He also went out of his way to caulk a roof vent near the area they were working which was not part of their scope as well as adding an additional extension to the downspout to direct the water more efficiently to the drain as well as re-attaching the eavestrough which was coming loose from the facing of the soffit. All and all, I was satisfied with the work... thank you!

My neighbor and I had decided to have both of our adjacent (semi-detached) flat roofs replaced earlier this summer. The contractor lined up to do the work in late May kept postponing due to heavy workload. The situation became more critical when a leak developed in one of the roofs, about the time that the long summer drought ended. After two months of delays, our contractor was thoughtful enough to have his wife call to let us know that they were on the way to the airport for a 3-week vacation. So, teeth clenched, it was back to the drawing board for us... So I checked the reviews on Homestars to locate a few roofing contractors to get estimates from. Fixer on the Roof replied within 2 days with a date and time for an appraisal. The other contractor had difficulty setting a particular time, and we were never able to find a time on the fly that worked for both of us. After meeting with Fixer on the Roof's Luc, we were satisfied that (a) he knew what he was doing; (b) could be counted to get the job done at the time and in the manner promised; and (c) at a mutually acceptable price. We were happy to have the job scheduled within 10 days of our acceptance. The crew showed up promptly, and removed an existing rooftop deck without any problem. The estimated 3 layers of old roof surface to be removed, however, turned out to be 5 layers, so it was a much longer (and back-breaking) job to remove over 100 years of roofing, and dispose of the debris. You can learn a lot about a team by watching them work, and it was evident that these guys were experienced, and not afraid of hard work. The torch work, eaves trough and copping were handled capably, and it was admirable that one of their workers came out immediately in a rainstorm over the holiday weekend to caulk a small leak where the work hadn't been completed. We were happy with the clean-up, and a few small extras that the crew kindly looked after at our request. Communications were also handled well (I particularly liked how Linda used email for non-critical stuff, and the phone for the important things). I'm not an expert on roofing, but I know good workmanship when I see it, and it was evident here in each stage of the job. Some might argue that we could have gotten the job done for less money, although I'm pretty sure the results would not match the quality job that was done. I'm confident that we won't have to worry about this roof for many years to come. If you still disagree, I'd be glad to put you in touch with the first contractor, as soon as he's back from vacation!

Fixer on the Roof was one of 2 companies that were responsive when contacted for a quote, and gave great customer service. A quote was emailed to me within a few days after Luc came to measure the place. The job was finished 2 weeks after we agreed to move forward, and that was only due to inclement weather. It would have been done within a week if it wasn't raining at the time. The work looks good at first glance -- it remains to be seen if there are any problems as it's only been a week since the job was done, but I will update this review if any issues pop up. Communication with customer service has been great, with any questions answered promptly. That's worth a lot in my opinion. Went to a get a few quotes from other companies, and was appalled at how unresponsive they where. Two contractors never called me back after multiple messages. One company took the trouble to come out and measure the house but never bothered to give me a quote, even after 4 or 5 follow up calls.

in 2011 I recieve many complaints from owners that their roofs were leaking, I selected Fixer on the Roof to come and see what the problems were, some roofs had been leaking for 5 years and no one else could fix them. Victor arrived and fixed the leaks, but also informed us that the roofs were a few years past their life and needed replacement, Fixer on the Roof provided a detailed quote, including items that are above current building code to ensure the roof system would work better and last longer. There price was the best and we decided to replace all 60 roofs over 2 years, the work took 3-4 weeks to complete, the crew was great, very courtious and professional, cleaned up after themselves and most important did a great job. Everything was replaced and extra vents were added to bring the roofs up to code. When issues arose with unforseen problems with siding or aluminum, they were quick to offer solutions and had other workers onsite to finish that work quickly. The only delays were due to bad weather. Victor called me after the first rain to see if anyone had any issues, but there were none. Looking forward to having the job completed next year and having many years of issue free roofs!!
