I went with Northern Comfort for my patio door purchase and installation based on this site. From beginning to end I couldn't be happier. The guys were on time, professional and efficient. They did an excellent job on trimming out the door and cleaned up well at the end. The price beat the competitors too! I would recommend this company without hesitation. Thanks NCDW.

I purchased 12 North Star Slider Windows from Northern Comfort and the first heavy rain, water came in on the inside track on 5 of the windows. These were the windows facing the wind. I contacted Northern Comfort, and they informed me that this is the design of the window for water to come into the track and eventually will reach the drain hole. We had water the first time sit for 3 days until we dried it up. We did not hear back from Northern Comfort so we contacted customer service at North Star, they sent a repair team out a couple of weeks later, they checked the drainage system and drilled another hole in the track to help the drainage. If we were told by the salesmen that this was the way this window was designed we would have either got a different style or a different manufacturer. We felt that the Northern Comfort salesmen and their service people were not that interested in our problem. We feel that if we had not contacted North Star ourselves little would have been done. The Sales Rep was suppose to come by during installation, and he did not. He was suppose to come by the following week and phoned and cancelled. I will say that the install team were very good. I could not recommend this company to anyone.

Mark the salesman was extremely helpful and made some really good suggestions. The installation crew showed as scheduled. The crew was fabulous and left our house clean. We have since ordered a door and this company will get all of our future business.

Northern Comfort Windows replaced 9 windows in my home in August. While the price was very good, the service was excellent. The triple glazed windows are draft free and look amazing. The sales representative, Barry, was very helpful with the style of windows, explaining which style would work best. The installer, Josh, modified the installation of outside capping, different from the original, which is much better - no longer a space behind for animals to possibly get in. I would highly recommend Northern Comfort Windows.

Two jobs: Quality from start to finish - super salesman Peter - couldn't be better - high level of expertise and care; super installers, Dave and John - so happy to have them back for 2nd job - meticulous about how they did the work - not easy with an old house! The end result is beautiful - house is much warmer and quieter too - great windows and doors. Recommend to all.

We had Northern Comfort replace patio doors and a few windows in 2012, and didn't bother contacting any other company when we replaced the rest of the windows this year. Excellent all around - communication, workers, cleanup, etc. We are definitely recommending them to friends and neighbours.

Northern Comfort offered me superior product, service, and warranty than the other quotes I got and they were tied for the lowest price! Both the salesperson and the installers were very kind and courteous. The finished product is wonderful!
