    Excellent Home Alarm System

    I have been using United Alarm for more than 3 years. It is an reliable home alarm system and the services are excellent. We do inspection once every month and the monitor respond to us very quickly.

    Horrible service, stay away

    Horrible service, they call you at all times to tell you there is a low battery signal like 10x a day and their technician only works monday to friday 9-5 which is when people are working, thus unable to get serviced. Devices started giving me problems on the second month of installation and you want a technician to take a look at it, they charge you fees for the visit . No guarantee whatsoever in case the devices fail. They don't ask for the password when the alarm goes off which a HUGE concern. When cancelling the service they robbed 60 days of service. If your cycle is the second of the month for example, and you ask to cancel the service on the 3rd they will charge you a whole full month. I have dealt with alarm companies in different countries and this is the worst experience I have ever had. They offer contracts for 3 years and they were 3 painful years. So happy my contract is near the end.

    Firstly United Alarm wants to make us that we take all customer feedback very seriously. United Alarm offers a standard 1-year warranty on our equipment and labour. The only time there would be a charge would be if the equipment was installed by another alarm company or if our technician determines the nature of the problem was caused by anything other the manufacturer defects. Unfortunately, without any information for the account, I am to determine why you quoted a cost with-in the first 2 months of service. It is very odd to hear that our monitoring station would be contacting customer 10 times a day for a low battery and this is something our team will try to look into.     Residential Alarm Install

    We chose United because we like to support local business. Their price is on point, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. It is fair for the product and service. Bob (sales) visited our home and was helpful in that he explained system features and did not try the classic "up-sell". No pressure tactics used and we felt we were in control of the decision(s). Installer was quick, tidy, and knowledgeable. Customer service call-in center is not without its challenges, not dissimilar to every other call-in center for every other company. This just comes with the territory. It would be beneficial to work with the same people, but understanding shift work and the nature of a 24 hour call-in, you just simply get different people on your file. We are very pleased with the United/Honeywell system and find it to be adequate protection for our home.

    Stay away from united

    I have been with this alarm company for 2 years and I am so regretted to sigh to contract with United. They have a lot of hidden cost and no communication with customers. All they want just add cost and not doing their job. Their technology of the alarm system is so far behind as well so it can't protect your home properly. Just watch out for this company! Folks

    worst service and alarm in Alberta. prob north America

    these guys go around installing in anyone's house no matter if they rent or not. and if they rent from u and they don't pay there alarm bill. united will put a lein on your house. and u have to deal with your renter worst thing I've ever herd.

We pride ourselves making sure we get a letter from all landlords authorizing their renters to have our alarm system installed by United Alarm. Unfortunately, if the renter misleads our staff in believing that they are the owner of the home there is only so much we can do. We are sorry that the actions of our renter a leave to feel that Untied Alarm is “worst service and alarm in Alberta. prob north America” without actually having or requesting our service or using our services.

    STAY AWAY FROM UNITED

    Very bad service and customer service. My kids would set the alarm off sometimes they would call 20 Min later or sometimes not at all! Either way my family would be dead if it was a real alarm. Trust me and do not go with united !

United Alarm is 1 or 3 ULC approved companies in Calgary Alberta. As we meet all ULC standard it is unheard of that an active alarm that has not been disarmed take long to respond to. We offer 7 monitoring stations across Canada to avoid any issue such as the one you are referring to.     stay away from United Alarms

    I would avoid United at all cost becaus of their poor customer service. After 9 years with this company and experiencing their customer service and owners attitude toward clients, I would advise you to use another company. It gets even worse when you try to cancel their service, it was an absolute nightmare. I would highly recommend you find another company for your home alarm.

    Great customer service

    Great customer service. They called when I accidentally pressed the 'emergency key'. Also their customer representative is very helpful and follows up with my request in time. Reasonable price for security and peace of mind.

    Home alarm

    Had United alarm installed quick easy and hassle free! The service is great and they even called when I accidentally burnt my dinner and set off the smoke detector :)

    alarm system

    Great customer service. Great alarm system. Installed in a timely manner. Great installer very friendly and explained how to work system. Great price for safety and security. Peace of mind.
