    Made it right

    Recently had an issue with a window sensor falsely going off in the middle of the night which was very frustrating as it took about 3 weeks to stop the false alarms. It was a manager I was dealing with (Dave) initially which was not a great experience as he basically ghosted me. Then I was able to connect with Gerald who I dealt with in the past who immediately fixed the issue. If it was not for Gerald I may have switched to a new provider as I did have 2 other quotes. Gerald also made it right to fix my window sensor and upgrade my connection equipment (GSM cellular) enabling using the Alarm dot com App along with adding a glass break sensor waiving the labour cost for the 3 weeks of frustration I had which was the deciding factor to stay with United Alarm. Gerald was very responsive and helped with any questions or concerns I had. Arthur came to do the installation which is the same tech that originally installed installed my previous upgrades. He is a fantastic tech by the way. Back history I have been with United Alarm for about 7 years now. Had a small unit in a condo previously then almost 5 years ago purchased a house with an existing DSC system which I expanded to add a few more sensors such as Smoke, flood and temp which was a 5 star experience as well. I understand that United has gone though some changes but as long as they have great people like Gerald and Arthur they will be a 5 star company.

    I have to say these guys have excellent service

    I have to say this, but these guys have excellent service the very kind people that straight to the point super friendly, they have excellent prices. I strongly recommend this company

    United Alarm System Inc

    United Alarm System installed a new alarm system in my home in Calgary. They did a great job and arrived on schedule and completed the work in accordance with the quoted amount. Gerald was a pleasure to deal with and Artur was very professional in explaining the installation and workings of the alarm system. I would highly recommend United Alarm System for your alarm needs.

    Awful company

    They installed a system that never worked from the start. The technicians are inept. And the monitoring is non existent. Very disappointed in they handling of everything. Also the bribe new customers to give them good reviews. Be cautious .

    False expectations - do not choose this company

    I chose United because it had been highly recommended to me - what a mistake! They updated the existing system in my house and told me it was functional except that it was not. When a second technician had to come out to fix it they led me to believe that it would be a quick fix but it wasn't. The first technician didn't do the job right and it took the second technician several hours to fix things and then they charged me for all the hours of the service call, instead of taking responsibility for their first technician's poor work. I expected better communication and customer service from this company. I regret having chosen them and now being stuck with their contract.

    Alarm install and Customer Service

    I had an alarm installed at my home and Johnathan was great. It took a bit longer than expected but he was so patient and it was set up properly. I had to make some changes to the programming and Gerard was efficient and super too. I would highly recommend this company to people. Staff is friendly and responsive! Thanks guys and gals.

    United Alarm

    The people at United Alarm have always been ready and willing to help me when I have called. I have had no problem contacting them and have always been quick in resolving my problems.

    DO NOT GO WITH THEM

    we continued our service as old house owners were with them. They locked us in for 3 years for a simple start up and it beeps through the night and randomly and THEY JUST DONT SHOW UP OR CALL BACK EVER (whey they do show up and charge and still its not fixed). we want the service cancelled and they wont do that either so were stuck with a beeping machine and just so lost in how to get this bloody thing fixed or cancelled.
