We are so sorry to hear about the negative experience you received from our cancellation department. United Alarm policy is that we needed a signed cancellation letter to cancel any account. As United Alarm is responsible for the security if over 60000 home in Calgary alone, this can seem to be a little more work then canceling your cable.
