Tree Doctors, Inc and their crew did 2 jobs on my property (this is my second review) and the results for both were better than I expected. Excellent work. They understand, in detail, what you want and delivers the same. They show up on time, their fees are fair and everything is spotless. Highly recommend Tree Doctors, Inc.

Tree Doctor's donated their time and lights to ensure Gilda's Club Greater Toronto was lit for the holiday season. Gilda's Club Greater Toronto is a not-for-profit charity that provides free psycho-social and emotional support to children, teens, and adults touched by cancer. Tree Doctor's answered all emails in a timely fashion, and sent extremely friendly employees to complete the job. Tree Doctor's brought magic to Gilda's Club Greater Toronto!

This is my first Homestars review, which i felt was so necessary to protect others from this s.c.a.m. I paid a downpayment but then I was astonished at the appalling service and bit of work that was (not) done, when the workers finally arrived. After many weeks, Tree Doctors have not contacted me despite an email and polite phone call, despite being told that "the manager Konstantine was looking into it". Needless to say, they have not reimbursed my downpayment. The hedge was hacked at, not trimmed as contracted, not brought down to the contracted height, and not even remotely even at the top – branches are sticking out all over the place, with big holes. In addition, they left the few bits that they did cut off all over my garden plants. Clearly from the bits on the ground they spent a very short amount of time and didn’t cut much - just hacked at a few branches. It is incredible to me that they could consider this acceptable. My neighbours were incredulous, too. It would seem that there was no Tree Doctor overseer on site. The workers are not only incompetent but rude: as the office staff was aware, the workers were scheduled to arrive sometime from 9:30 a.m. to mid-morning. I had taken the morning off work to be there when they arrived, called at 11, waited until 12:15 before leaving and they still had not contacted me or arrived. I was never offered the simple good manners of a call to let me know they were going to be late - or not coming. While the pleasant office staff person did try to help, it took far too long to find out what was going on. I didn’t hear back until about 12:40, still with no estimated time. I don’t know what time they actually arrived. I lost a half-day’s pay for nothing. I’ve never ever experienced such bad work from any contractor. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the bad reviews with similar service problems on Homestars but am so concerned I am adding mine to them, to protect others. I believe this company is simply not a real arborist business.

Last spring, I had the Tree Doctors straighten a few cedars, which were leaning after the 2013 ice storm. They used rope to pull the trees back into the desired position. Here's the problem: now that my trees are straight, I've removed the rope but noticed it had cut into my trees. I consulted with my father-in-law who has a green thumb (I should have just gone to him in the first place) and he said that by using rope with no padding or rubber hose between the trees and rope - the trees were being "choked" by the rope. This is incredibly harmful to the tree obviously and can even kill it. I can't believe a company that calls itself the "Tree Doctors" didn't know any better. Don't hire them.

We had two 70 year old Siberian Elms taken down this week due to constant damage. Wow what a job. Thank you to Derek, Justin, Tyler, Dan, Matt, Alex, Dave and Pete for providing amazing service on 2 of the hottest days of the summer. Derek and his crew showed up at 7:30. They spent approx. 4 hours cleaning and trimming alot of overgrown trees in our backyard. We had a lot of very large branches over hanging our deck that has glass that we were concern about, but Derek assured me that I had nothing to worry about. They cleaned up as if they were never here. I will be using them again in the future.

I've had Tree Doctors clear some seriously overgrown trees twice now. Both times they were on time, cleaned up after they were done, and provided excellent results. The competitive pricing was really just a bonus and I'm sure I'll have Tree Doctors out at my place again this spring.

Derek and his crew were fantastic. They spent the better part of a full day trimming tree branches hanging over our yard from a neighbour's (dead) tree. Derek took the time the speak with my wife about his planned work so we were well informed of our options before he got started. He did a thorough and impressive job trimming the tree and his crew did a phenomenal clean up job. Not a branch on the ground once they were done. We would recommend Tree Doctors to anyone in need of tree trimming.

We called Tree Doctors to come for an estimate to trim a tree and we had such a great experience hiring this company so we will recommend them and use they services again. Thank you for your great work!
