It took all summer for my brother in-law carpenter to get my garden shed finished. The plan I purchased from Summerwood turned out to be the neatest garden shed I've seen. I have not had time to organize what the interior will involve, but my intent was to have this building be the focal point of my landscape when I looked out of my home windows... I am not disappointed! I am a retired florist, and my property is about 3 acres along a creek, so I have room to develop a great landscape and I have worked for years to get that accomplished. The shed fit into an established area in the front side yard, so it is very visible from the street and the landscape was reworked to include a brick patio with a brick walk going to and past the shed through the landscape.

We couldn't have been happier with the Summerwood experience. John was great in helping us pick out the various features of our pool cabana and the online design tool was extremely helpful and easy to use. The installers came on the day of a snowstorm and both of them worked an extremely long, cold day. We mentioned that we would be fine with delaying the install to another day but they got it done. Everything looks great. This Spring and the cabana has become a new favorite hiding spot for our two boys.

We love our Summerwood shed. Due to space limitations and condominium regulations, we had a very specific size to fit and Summerwood sized the perfect shed. The cedar shed is very attractive. We are active cyclists and gardeners and the shed is purposed to support those activities, which it does perfectly. The bikes, bike tools, garden tools and other items are stored for easy reach. The shed is dry and secure. It has withstood two winters with no leaks and stays dry during the hardest storms. Because we stain it each year, it still has a fresh look. We actively recommend Summerwood company and service and will continue to do so.

I have built two of the products from Summerwood plans over the past ten years and have found both of them totally satisfying with the detailed instructions for materials, cuts. etc. An excellent product in all regards.

We have enjoyed our barside cabana since we got it a couple seasons ago, it has really made the pool area! Completely transformed the outdoor area around our pool. We have obviously made some additional customizations of it, but we absolutely love it! Thank Summerwood team for creating such a great product.

Overall my experience in investigating, designing and getting our shed built from Summerwood was well above my expectations. I found the website and design studio very helpful, engaging which allowed me to view styles, sizes and colour options of various sheds for me to plan with that ultimately gave me great comfort and confidence that what I was about to purchase was suitable for my needs. My experience working John was simply amazing. John was very, very knowledgeable and very efficient and patient in helping me finalize the finer details and he even sent me home with a few different colours samples of the material I had chosen the ensure everyone at home was happy with the colour of the Shed. Installation was also a great experience. The shed was delivered and neatly placed onto my driveway with no visible damages to the shipment. The two installers were also great to deal with who worked extremely hard on a hot sunny day. The two installers had everything they needed to complete the installation and stayed until 10pm to complete the project including cleaning up after themselves so they didn’t have to return the next day. The installers also took the time to walk me through the shed to inspect for any damages which there were none and also should me how to operate the windows and door. I am so happy with my overall experience, I did not experience one negative aspect and in some cases I think to myself the whole experience went way too smooth considering how much I spent. My neighbours have all gave me nice compliments on my shed and I would strongly recommend Summerwood Sheds to anyone who is seriously ready to commit to purchasing a shed vs building it themselves or hiring a contractor. Summerwood Sheds is a company that can be trusted and relied upon.

We are thrilled with the Cabana that Summerwood installed for us in the first quarter of 2012. We were especially very pleased with the interior cedar walls and floor as well as with the quality of work, the proficiency of the installation team and the cleanliness of the work site. Many of our friends have seen the cabana and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is considering having a similar structure build. If we need any further work that falls into that field, we would certainly contact Summerwood Products.

I absolutely love my 5-sided Summerwood garden shed. I thought it might not be big enough, but with a very small backyard, I was worried that it might overpower my yard. But it looks great and is deceptively roomy. Over the winter I stored a garden umbrella and stand, 8 chairs, 2 ottomans, and 2 tables, plus all of the regular garden tools, lawnmower, and snow shovels. I can't really think of anything I'd change!

Every time I sit in my kitchen and look out the sliding patio door at my cabana when the sun is beginning to set I say to myself - What a great looking cabana and how glad I am that I have gone ahead with this project! Just as the sun light is reflecting off the cabana I thought what a great picture this would be so I got out the camera and snapped a few shots. Summerwood did a fantastic job, keep up the good work!!!

At present we’re in the middle of assembly. The floor is complete, the walls assembled and siding on, the wall trusses are up. Remaining work is installing beams to support extension, complete sheathing on roof, windows/ doors/ trim/ shingles and stain. We expect it will take a few weekends to complete assembly. The overall impression is very good. The materials are top quality wood (much better than what I could get from local suppliers without a lot of sorting) and all cut to proper lengths. Very happy with the kit and the process so far. Looking forward to seeing it completed soon.
