    Air Conditioner

    I had the run around from Reliance on May 23, 2014 where a techncian was scheduled to arrive between 7-11am. I called customer service seveal times after 12pm only to keep waiting for the technician!! At 2pm, I recieved a call from Naresh (Paul) apologizing for being late on behalf of the company and that he would be at my place in 1 hour. It was 3:30pm and still no one showed up. I then called Naresh back and asked what happened? Naresh apologizing again, told me that he was removed to service someone else and that he was cancelled for my Service and that another Technician Frank was suppose to take his place?!!! Naresh had no idea why that was done... it was 4:30 pm and NO Frank from Reliance ever showed up and no call ????!!!!!! Very Fustrated I was as I wasted a whole day waiting for NOBODY from RELIANCE. I called customer service and out of courtesy (unlike Reliance), told them not to send technician and rescheduled the appt. for May 26, 2014 between 7-11am again. This time a total different experience happened!! Got a call from Naresh (Paul) at about 7:45am telling me he was on his way to be at my place in about 10-15min... He showed up at 8am in a very friendly and polite manner. He was asking all the right questions about the service he was attending too and solved my problem!!!! I was soooo Grateful for his work !! Naresh (Paul), I THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your incredible and professional service.!!!!!!!! In Future, If i need service again (hopefully not) I would like to request you as the Technician of choice...

    humidifier

    I was in need of advice with regard to a furnace humidifier. Jason Rowe from the sales dept. Came over and was very helpful, knowledgeable, honest and professional. In fact he noticed right away I actually had and exhaust problem on my hot water tank which had the potential to be quite dangerous with carbon emissions. He turned off the gas/electricity to the tank and arranged for a service call the next day. As a single girl who knows nothing about HVAC stuff he was very honest in not taking advantage of me which was greatly appreciated. In the end I did purchase the humidifier and am grateful for the honest experience. Thanks again Jason!

    Replacing hit water tank

    This is my first year dealing with reliance. I was always renting tanks from enbridge and I must say your service is excellent. Response is so incredibly fast and everyone of your service techs have been great. Of late we had the pleasure of dealing with Matt Santos. He was knowledgeable polite most helpful and a pleasure to have In our home. I rate this young man a 10 out if 10. Thank you for being a company that actually cares about old fashioned customer service.

    Hot water tank

    Hot water not available,we called reliance and we had a great help from one of your technician named Gurmeet,he found the trouble right away and fixed it withouth difficulty best service done!Thank you so much!

    Air Conditioner Service

    Once service person arrived he was excellent, informative, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.Peter #5278. Hard to get to that point though. LONG process. Had originally asked for this service of air conditioner thinking I was covered by monthly fee. Girl on phone booked appointment and service person serviced furnace. Called back and got rude person who told me I was not covered and would have to pay for this. I understand this, but why was appointment booked for air conditioning service if I was not covered and then furnace looked at? Customer service rep very condescending. Finally asked for supervisor. She called back the next day, but I was in the shower. Said she would calll the next day at same time. I waited 2 weeks and no call. So I called back. They didn't seem concerned that a pronmise was broken. Finally spoke with a supervisor again who was not nice at first, but finally understood my issue. I wasn't originally asking for anything but an apology and the correct service, but after all the inconveniences and rude reps, I asked for one month free service. Supervisor said she couldn't do that and then after I explained myself, she offered to do that???? So, hopefully I get the one month free. She did go back to original phone call to see that I did ask for air conditioning service and furnace service was booked. I shouldn't have had to get forceful and almost nasty to get what I wanted in the first place. Then a new appointment was booked. It was booked for a Wednesday between 10 and 2. After 2, there was no phone call until 5pm when Peter said he would be there shortly. Why do they book this time slot? Then not call when they can't make it and send someone 3 hours after the final window had passed? Not professional. I had arranged to have my daughter at home from 10 to 2 which was an inconvenience to her. I was home by 5pm to meet Peter. Again, he was fabulous! Finally a nice end to a frustrating situation which should have been very easy.

    Jason was very nice and professional. He knew what he was doing and fixed our problem quite efficiently. He also let me know about the fee to protect our furnace and air conditioner.

    New Furnace & Central Air Installation

    Betty in sales was very informative and courteous and Installation guys were amazing. The install was quick and flawless. However I have not received my rebate as of yet and I am missing the logo cover on my Central Air unit.

    Seasonal service for my furnace and AC

    The technician (Craig) showed up on time and was very professional and accommodating. He checked and resolved the issue in no time and also identified other issues to be resolved . He is very knowledgeable and I definitely recommend Reliance and specially Craig for you next job.
