Reliance Home Comfort reviews (13630)

I used to have a water heater, furnace and A/C rental from Ozz Home Comfort, who was bought out by Reliance shortly after. Had a problem with the water heater one day and Reliance service was excellent, so when I recently moved, I called Reliance first and had them install A/C in my newly build home. I did have concerns at first that it was not sufficiently cooling the home but Reliance was quick to respond and the tech was always here the very next day. It did take a number of visits and a decent bit of nagging on my part, but the finally sent Paul out and he did it right! He clearly knows his stuff and takes pride in his work! I'm not thrilled with the amount of effort I had to put into a resolution, but the company did ultimately step up and did right by this customer. I can easily see other companies just walking away. Based on the result, I would not hesitate to recommend Reliance.

First off, RUN !!! Do not have any business dealings with this company. Salesman deceived us at just about every step of the way. I talk to a friend later who own's an HVAC company( I wish I had of prior to purchase) and he told me he could of installed the same equipment for a 1/2 of the cost I paid. Now service, Minus 6 celcius and the E-vac motor goes after 4 mths new, the service man had the new one installed 37 hrs later.That was the first time the E-Vac motor went.The second time they were here in exactly 24 hrs. Still frezzing cold for 24hrs. is no fun, never mind 37hrs. Repairman for those repairs were fine. When they came to replace the overdue filter , the repairman was very rude and almost angry he had to be there and started complaining about other things in my house???? Go figure. We decided to not be involved with reliance and wanted to buy out the remainder of the lease. Wow, this is bad. The salesman ( who Reliance said does not exist and couldnt even tell me who sold me their product) told me numorous times I could purchase the 2 unit's anytime and the cost would be $ 8800.00 AFTER THE FIRST YEAR,wrong. If we had purchased it in the first year it would have cost us that. So a play of word's. " oh, sorry sir you misunderstood and had it backwards ". Yes, both my wife and I misunderstood you. Now , after buy it out , there's one other thing you need to be aware of, they secretly put a Lien on your house. When it comes time to renew, better check your Deed at the Registry Office. So, please take note and run the other way. After paying on the lease for 2 year's my buy out was over $12,000.00. But had I cleaned both my wife and my ear;s out and listened better( ha ha) 1 could have saved myself $4000.00 and bought it for $8800 under the buyout indemdem they say I didn't have....in the first year. Please heed this review and run to another company.

Joe D'Onofrio came in to service the AC. He was very thorough in searching for the cause of the problem. He demonstrated excellent knowledge with regards to HVAC equipment, excellent customer service skills, and was very quick in resolving the problem.

My hot water tank was leaking something awful. The two people that came and replaced it were very efficient and courteous. They informed me step by step what they were doing and even though they had to replace some venting they were very tidy and did not make a mess. I would recommend Peter and Doug to everyone.

Rental unit. Had concern that it may not be operating properly. Called and they responded within 2 hours. Very professional, very thorough, explained how it worked, answered all my questions. Steve, employee #1502 is excellent.!!!!

Nima K was my sale person and he did a great job answering all my questions. He was patience and he did not rush me or scare me with sales pitch. Nima was very helpful. Get this, when my furnace was installed he showed up and made sure that I was happy and he did a quick review of what was going on that day. Now you tell me, who does that. I am very happy with my furnace and the service Nima provided. Thank you Nima, sincerely.

Service was within 24 hours! We used the email service of Reliance.The technician was Paul, # 498, arrived on time, polite, professional, and efficient. Covered under rental policy. We are very pleased with the workmanship.

Ihave had a run of bad luck in the hot water tank department over the last three weeks. I had a few awesome guys come to the rescue of my family. I would like it to be known that Adam (BEA1234), Melvin (RCH1837), Joey (977), and Mark (1023), These guys are awesome and do a great job restoring my faith in Reliance after getting the run around from some of the customer service people. Abig thank you Michael for his amazing help. I can not thank you enough for getting me fast service to try and resolve this problem. I called for service at 9 a.m. and Steve (ID#1502) was here by 11. Extremely courteous and thorough - he checked code information and shared it with me. I truly felt that customer satisfaction and safety was his priority with me! Excellent service!

James (ID 2357) was punctual, if not early. He was polite, friendly and well-groomed. He answered all my questions, explained what he was doing and why. He was personable and professional. The work was done in a timely manner and his work area was spotless when he finished. I would recommend him and Reliance in a heartbeat. Well done James!
