    New AC

    Melisa gave us a fantastic breakdown of our options for a new AC after our existing one broke down. She didn't give us a big sales pitch, but instead helped us understand the right fit between buying or renting that my wife and I really appreciated. Thanks Melisa for the great help!

    Hot water tank leaking

    Called Reliance on Friday night. Technician responded on Saturday at 11:30 am. He replaced the tank, did a great job, and it didn't cost me a penny. He was very professional, courteous, and informed me of all the services available through Reliance. Kudos to team member 2807. Thank you.

    furnace and ac install

    Matt M. and Andy A. came to my house to do a removal and install of a new furnace and ac unit. They brought drop clothes to walk on and they still took off their shoes. They were VERY professional with their work and were very polite. Not a trait you find anywhere any more. They explained everything to me, and got right to it. No smoke breaks and no phone time. I AM PLEASED. Great job guys.

    Furnace maintenance

    The maintenance guy who came to check my furnace was great, professional and approachable. He came in on time, checked out the problem and even pointed a problem that would never have been noticed if he wasn’t careful. In general, he did an awesome job.

    Water heater

    My rating is not based on my most recent experience, it is based on my feeling of this company overall. I would have rated this company with two zeroes before today's service call. I had the greatest technician I have ever had repair my water heater today. Richard Knicely was very kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. We even discussed my dislike of your company and he did a great job starting to change my opinion. If only all of your service representatives were as good, and you had a better way of interacting with customers who would like to reach someone in your organization without having to deal with your useless call centres. Richard had to spend more time than usual to trouble shoot and fix the issue because a refurbished replacement part he initially used was faulty and he had to get another refurbished part from his vehicle. This should not have happened in my opinion. If you used new parts this would not have been an issue. The repair would have happened in the appropriate amount of time and he would have been on his way much sooner. I could tell that the parts he was using were not new. If you really want to change my impression of your company to a positive one whereby I would consider having you replace my furnace and air conditioning unit, you need to change a lot about this practice and your company structure. Stop putting your growth and profits ahead of the customer and create a business model that a well educated customer would be completely happy with.

    Home hot water tank repair

    They came next day first thing. Service desk was very nice and accommodating. The tech Jake M (Id 4348) came and was very nice, efficient and clean. Exlent service! I would recommend there service to anyone.

    A/C repair - capacitor replacement by Reliance Contractor 72 Degrees

    We belong to the Reliance Comfort Protection Plan. The cost would have been over 208 dollars plus tax. I'm not sure whether or not the service call charge is part of the price or not. We did not pay anything. Frank is an independent contractor from Rodney (I asked where he was from). He was polite, courteous and listened to my thoughts of what exactly the A/C would do but didn't work. He went to and tested the capacitor as he said these things go all the time. Franks business is "72 Degrees" and I would be glad to see them again if HVAC system needed service. I just thought it odd that a contractor would be call from Rodney.

    Quoted on an Furnace and Air Conditioner

    Jeff Hayhoe came out to quote on installing a new furnace and air conditioner. He listened to my needs and did not try to over sell me on things I did not need. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. I look forward to writing a further review once everything is installed and running.

    After your signed contract, the process was dizaster

    I have ordered a furnace and a/c combo to replace older pairs from relince. the process of the service delivery was frustrated and drive me crazy. The beginning was good, i received conformation email of installation after paid full price on the sold date, the company requested to sign a contract. after signed. the first confirmed installation date been delayed without any notice until i followed up with the sales lady on the designed installation date been waiting the technician showing up 4 hours. Then, one days later, i been told by the sales that the model on contract was out of stock, i have to agree to install another model and I sent email agreed the changes. One days later, the sales said that i need sign another contract about the change before installation. i signed. on the 5th day after i paid full money, the installation finally been carry on, one day later, i been told that i have to pay additional $500 for the extra job which related to installation(the sales had measured and invested the existign equpment and boiler rooms for replace new machine on the sold date). Then, i paid right way, then, i been told that i have to sign another contract for the additional payment before installation been completed. i will never reconmend Reliance to anyone, their process managerment and service were nightmare.

    Installation of new toilet

    I had Phil Pedrosa and Lucas come into my condo to do a new installation. They were quick, very courteous and when they completed the task there was absolutely no additional clean up required. These two young men could not have been any better and are excellent representatives for Reliance. I would have them back again in a New York minute!
