My name is Latanya had a Tankless Boiler installed in my home in April of this year by Reliance Home Comfort by way of gowater.ca Supervised by Mike Preston at this company.
The unit flooded my basement ruining the flooring and doing about $6,000.00 worth the damage as they did not turn off a water pump attached to the water tank they removed.
This unit was leaking from the condensation connection all over the floor for days and has continued leaking since April and Reliance sent out a number of technicians to repair it until finally one of the Technicians tagged it "A" and informed me that it is water leaking from the Flue gas PVC pipe that is leaking and possible carbon monoxide could enter my home." He turned off the tankless/boiler hot water. He also informed me that the unit was installed incorrectly and would report his findings to his Supervisor.
Please note I refused to sign the Violation because he would not put down his findings in any description other than "Vent Leaking", when I asked him to write down what he had truly found.
After multiple emails, texts and documented calls to Reliance's Sales Rep. Dustin Sydor, T. Draper - in the Legal Department and Mr. Jason King - 1888 490-3011 ex. #76225 - JKing2@reliancecomfort.com, Supervisor in the Reliance Installation Department. Someone came to my home and turned on the hot water but, refused to sign off on the Tag in order to comply with the violation.
Since then I have had two other Technician come and take pictures totaling 4 techs now and the last two would not sign off on the tag and did not attempt any kind of repair. But, the last one asked me for a bowl to put under the 2 leaks coming from the pipe and instructed me to "dump the water according to how much hot water I use."
I did contact their legal department and TDraper@reliance.com is the person I have emailed and spoken to but signs the emails by this name

a number of times but they are more interested in my signing a Waiver that releases them from any further damage then rectifying the situation and offered me a good faith amount of $3,900.00, which of course I will not sign. But, did inform them that I would be taking further action to recoup the full damage amount and be released from my contract.
I received this tag on the 18th of August 2018 and have been sending emails to Mr. King and the Legal Department and have stopped getting any answers or action at this point. Not even a telephone call or return email to my reaching out to them over and over again.
I did inform Reliance that I wanted to know who to contact to have it removed within the legal time limit via the sales representative below,

But to this day the unit is still in my home with a plastic container under the leaks in order to contain further damage and a violation no one is taking seriously.
Sir/Madame can you please help me in taking further action and have this unit removed because it is unsafe in their own writing and because of the incompetence of the install and non-action of Reliance and gowater.ca
This is very bad business and irresponsible for a company to be allowed to conduct themselves in such a way when they are governed by the TSSA.
It is now Sept. 11 2018 and no one has come to fix it or answered my emails so I am still dumping a plastic bowl of water each day.
