    AC purchase and install

Excellent, friendly and professional service. The team was outstanding. They provided a lot of information about the AC unit and thermostat. A great end of season deal! I highly recommend Reliance.

    Hot water Tank

So impressed with technician Matthew Bond. First visit, was thorough and explained problems in terms I could understand. Was very kind and comforting and very patient. On second visit, he installed the hot water tank and again, worked nonstop to ensure installation was completed. He was very kind explaining the need to have a gas technician take a look at the a/c and furnace. It was discovered I was being double billed for the TRIO plan, and this matter was rectified by some very nice call center agents. He really is a fine example of representing Reliance in a highly professional manner.

    Routine maintenance

Employee was on time, courteous and helpful. Everything was as expected. I wish I didn't have to replace the furnace in the middle of winter and had more time to shop but so far I'm satisfied with the product.

    New water heater

Plastic drain spigott could not be replaced - thread and connection too corroded. New water heater installed. Had new pu50 10 ft. vent upgrade installed at a cost of $183.06. Nick 4416 was able to install a new water heater. He did work quickly and efficiently.

    Tankless Boiler System

My name is Latanya had a Tankless Boiler installed in my home in April of this year by Reliance Home Comfort by way of gowater.ca Supervised by Mike Preston at this company. The unit flooded my basement ruining the flooring and doing about $6,000.00 worth the damage as they did not turn off a water pump attached to the water tank they removed. This unit was leaking from the condensation connection all over the floor for days and has continued leaking since April and Reliance sent out a number of technicians to repair it until finally one of the Technicians tagged it "A" and informed me that it is water leaking from the Flue gas PVC pipe that is leaking and possible carbon monoxide could enter my home." He turned off the tankless/boiler hot water. He also informed me that the unit was installed incorrectly and would report his findings to his Supervisor. Please note I refused to sign the Violation because he would not put down his findings in any description other than "Vent Leaking", when I asked him to write down what he had truly found. After multiple emails, texts and documented calls to Reliance's Sales Rep. Dustin Sydor, T. Draper - in the Legal Department and Mr. Jason King - 1888 490-3011 ex. #76225 - JKing2@reliancecomfort.com, Supervisor in the Reliance Installation Department. Someone came to my home and turned on the hot water but, refused to sign off on the Tag in order to comply with the violation. Since then I have had two other Technician come and take pictures totaling 4 techs now and the last two would not sign off on the tag and did not attempt any kind of repair. But, the last one asked me for a bowl to put under the 2 leaks coming from the pipe and instructed me to "dump the water according to how much hot water I use." I did contact their legal department and TDraper@reliance.com is the person I have emailed and spoken to but signs the emails by this name jayme sadler | CLAIMS CLERK, LEGAL DEPARTMENT RELIANCE COMFORT LIMITED PARTNERSHIP 1045 Hargrieve Road, Unit A, London, ON, N6E 1P6 WWW.RELIANCEHOMECOMFORT.COM w 519 686-5349 | f 519-686-1728 a number of times but they are more interested in my signing a Waiver that releases them from any further damage then rectifying the situation and offered me a good faith amount of $3,900.00, which of course I will not sign. But, did inform them that I would be taking further action to recoup the full damage amount and be released from my contract. I received this tag on the 18th of August 2018 and have been sending emails to Mr. King and the Legal Department and have stopped getting any answers or action at this point. Not even a telephone call or return email to my reaching out to them over and over again. I did inform Reliance that I wanted to know who to contact to have it removed within the legal time limit via the sales representative below, Dustin Sydor Home Comfort Advisor Toronto Branch Phone: (416) 841-0690 Email: dsydor@reliancecomfort.com But to this day the unit is still in my home with a plastic container under the leaks in order to contain further damage and a violation no one is taking seriously. Sir/Madame can you please help me in taking further action and have this unit removed because it is unsafe in their own writing and because of the incompetence of the install and non-action of Reliance and gowater.ca This is very bad business and irresponsible for a company to be allowed to conduct themselves in such a way when they are governed by the TSSA. It is now Sept. 11 2018 and no one has come to fix it or answered my emails so I am still dumping a plastic bowl of water each day.

    Answer from pro:

Hello, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Can you please email me with you address/account information and I can see what further information I can assist you with. jdeboo@reliancecomfort.com Thank you, Jessica

    Furnace maintenance

Craig Austin, HVAC Technician came to my home last month for an inspecition of my furnance. I had not had the furnace looked at in the 5 years I have lived here. The work done to maintain and clean the furnace was good, but the reason I'm leaving a review is because of the service. I received really great advice from Craig about our options for a new filter, and he did not simply plug his company's products - he gave me options that I could consider. Then Craig explained the why and how about the furnance/air conditioner use in my home, and thermostat options, and that time he spent was invaluable. I don't know much about these topics and Craig was a great teacher. His service went above and beyond.

Thank you for the review and the kind words for Craig. ~Jessica

Great customer service. Professional and knowlegeable staff.

I called just before 9am today about an issue with my heating system and the tech arrived by 10am. He quickly found the problem, explained what it was and then fixed it. I’ve used their service on 3 different homes for the last 5 years and very happy with them.
